CHURCH: What is it and What is its Purpose? What is God’s Original Intent?

What is the purpose of the Church? What is God’s original intent for the Church? The Church began when the Holy Spirit showed up on the day of Pentecost. There is not a certain expectation for the Church. We can be anywhere and be the Church, and everything that God says applies to us no matter where we meet. It is said the quickest way to win souls is new Church plants. As the Church, we should always be thinking about how and where to plant the next Church. How do we bring the gospel to this next generation with Church planting? In this, we must be very careful how we lead Church plants. Greg shares how God spoke to him and God said He is going to teach him for three years what he can use for the next 30 years. As Greg talks about a Church plant that happened he shares how healings broke out, people were having dreams and hearing from God like never before. The Church is ready to see the power of God. In the context of this what was learned is to stay with Biblical principles. Ultimately, we need to watch what God is doing and hear from God in our time with Him. Be encouraged, get into the Word of God and be rightly related to your Pastor and your Church. What defines the Church is that we are walking out Biblical principles. When you look at the Church in America, the first thing you may hear is that they need to get it incorporated or that you need thousands or even millions of dollars to start a Church. This sounds much like an enterprise. According to George Barna, the American Church is paying 1.3 million dollars per baptized believer. It doesn’t sound much better than the government. Rick Joyner shares about a shift in the Church and how the pure expression of it is family. Father God gave His Son Jesus Christ, on behalf of His creation so that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become sons and daughters of God, family! How do we get back to family? One way to do this is to relate to God as our Father. Jesus shares how we can talk to His Father in Matthew 6:9-10, “‘Our Father in heaven, hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.’” Another way to express the purity of the Church is to treat each other like family within your Church. Family is made up of brothers, sisters, mothers, and fathers. Also, we need to get rid of everything in the Church family that is not pure. When you do this then what you have is your authentic relationship with God, which is not your religion, and this is when the true Church arises. Someone is interpreting for you, what is happening to you.” Our experiences are what we see in our daily life, community, nation, and world. “When history happens, how you believe and interpret the experience is more powerful than the experience itself. Your experience is never the important factor but the beliefs you attach to your experience. Whoever is interpreting those experiences is shaping your belief.” It is important what beliefs we have about our experiences. “Your decisions become the choices that you make. Your choices are always going to shape your harvest.” Lastly, we make our decisions based on our beliefs.

Lance Wallnau continues, “I believe the next generation needs to be mobilized by believers…nations are about to come into the Kingdom of God.” God has called us to win nations! When we hear prophetic words, they are like water on a dry desert land. We cannot come into agreement with that which we have not heard. When we look at this new year of 2018, what has been revealed prophetically is that this is the year of the open door. When Hank Kunneman shared with Sid Roth what the Lord has revealed prophetically what is taking place, Kunneman shared how he was awakened from sleep and he heard door after door slamming shut. When he inquired of the Lord about what this was, the Lord shared, ”this is where people have been, where it seems like there has been one door, after another door, after another door, after another door, that has been slamming shut”. As Kunneman continues to point out, “but this is a different year”.

Kunneman shares how the Lord led him to look at Jesus’ first miracle when water was turned into wine at the wedding. John 2:10 reveals that “you have saved the best till now”. Kunneman reminds us that Jesus said to give us this day our daily bread. God moves in the present, in the now. “Lord God, I declare that every door that has been slamming shut, I command in the name of Jesus that it now open. Now, same day for the people, whatever their needs are.”

So many of us have received so much rejection that we think this is how things always will be. God is transferring businesses to people who have wanted business. He sees those that are not honoring Him with what He has given, and He is about to transfer things to those who will honor him. THE TRUMP PROPHECIES! “For as Benjamin Netanyahu is to Israel, So shall [President Trump] be to the United States of America”, says Mark Taylor

As we see President Trump make significant effects in his presidency, it is not hard to recognize that substantial transformation has happened compared to where America was only a few short months ago. But, if you ask Mark Taylor about President Trump, it wouldn’t be a surprise to him. Taylor was recently on Sid Roth’s It’s Supernatural, and he shared what the Lord had spoken to him about Donald Trump. This was in 2011. As Taylor has termed it, it was the Commander-In-Chief Prophecy, spoken to him on April 28, 2011.

Like a continual drumbeat of hope and boldness, Taylor begins to speak exactly what the Lord said to him. “The Spirit of God says I have chosen this man, Donald Trump, for such a time as this. For as Benjamin Netanyahu is to Israel, so shall this man be to the United States of America. For I will use this man to bring honor, respect, and restoration to America. America will be respected once again as the most powerful and prosperous nation on earth, other than Israel.” It is awesome and powerful to see the Lord’s hand at work. When we look at Amos 3:7, it reminds us of God’s plans being at work. ” Surely the Sovereign Lord does nothing without revealing his plan to his servants the prophets.”

What is additionally inspiring and encouraging are the words that President Trump made known to his faith advisory board. Mary Colbert, who has the privilege of being in relationship and contact with the members of the board, testifies of these words and shared them with Sid Roth. “Well, Donald Trump has expressed…by the time that he leaves office, he wants to be remembered as the most praying President in history.” Sid Roth brings up the many controversial media clips that were shown of Donald Trump during the Presidential race, and asks Colbert what her thoughts are. As a woman, she felt the weight and impact of these words, but she also knows what the Spirit of the Lord has said about this man. “For me, I can tell you, Donald Trump is not the same man that you are hearing about from his past. He has had a radical change in his heart. He has had a heart change towards the things of God, and the people of God.” When Sid Roth asks about the sincerity of Donald Trump, Colbert brings attention to President Trump’s desire to not only be a part of the National Day of Prayer, but “he wants to bring it into the White House”. This is so exciting! It’s important to remember that all of us go through a period of process in our lives. King David had to endure process before he found himself the King of Israel as God had anointed him to be. The same has been carried out in President Trump’s life as well. It is time for us to come into agreement with the prophetic word from the Lord. We can’t wait for the prophesy to come true if we don’t agree with it. We get the prophet’s reward when we agree with the prophet.

As President Trump has carried out the beginning of his Administration, how many nations across the world are turning their heads and taking note? Nations are now respecting America again. As the world has vehemently attacked Israel on every front, President Trump has unapologetically remained alongside Israel. We have seen the prophetic words from Mark Taylor regarding the relationship between America and Israel be fulfilled before our eyes.

Taylor also spoke about how President Trump would be used to turn the American Dollar around.

“The Dollar will be the strongest it has ever been in the history of the United States, and will once again be the currency by which all others are judged. The Spirit of God says the enemy will quake and shake and fear this man I have anointed. They will even quake and shake when he announced he is running for President. It will be like the shot heard across the world. The enemy will say, ‘what shall we do now? This man knows all our tricks and schemes. We’ve been robbing America for decades. What shall we do to stop this?’ The Spirit says ‘HA! No one shall stop this that I have started. For the enemy has stolen from America for decades and it stops now. For I will use this man to reap the harvest that the United States has sown for and plundered from the enemy what he has stolen and returned it back seven-fold to the United States.”

Many are unaware that we were on the verge of losing our nation under the past Administration. That would have changed everything. Overnight, we would have found ourselves paying unimaginable prices at the gas pumps. While Russia, China, and North Korea are plotting against the Dollar, God has His own plans.

As nations throughout the world are taking note of the new leadership in America, nations are also seeking to do what they can to position themselves alongside America. Taylor continues the prophetic word; “The enemy will say, ‘Israel. Israel. What about Israel?’ For Israel will be protected by America once again. The Spirit says, ‘Yes’. America will once against stand hand in hand with Israel and the two shall be as one. For the ties between Israel and America will be stronger than ever and Israel will flourish like never before.” Why would anyone not want to support America? There is an anointing upon President Trump.

The world recognizes that a new leader is leading America. The methods that were carried out during the last Administration are not being repeated. ” The Spirit of God says, ‘I will protect America and Israel. For this next President will be a man of his word. When he speaks, the world will listen and know that there is something greater in his and all the others before him. This man’s word is his bond and the world and America will know this, and the enemy will fear this, for this man will be fearless. Many of the promises that Donald Trump ran under during the Presidential Election, he has fulfilled. Pulling out of the Paris Accord as well as his bold comments at the NATO Summit are prime examples.

As President Trump has made the decisions to pull out of agreements such as the Paris Accord, President Trump has repeatedly pointed to the exorbitant costs that these agreements were having upon our nation. This is another confirmation of what the Lord spoke to Mark Taylor. “The Spirit says, ‘when the financial harvest begins, so shall it parallel in the spiritual for America’. The Spirit of God says, ‘in this next election, they will spend billions to keep this President. Now it will be like flushing their money down the toilet. Let them waste their money. For it comes from, and is being used by evil forces at work. But they will not succeed. This next election will be a clean sweep for the man that I have chosen.” Oftentimes, what people do not recognize is the cost that it takes to bring in the harvest. How much did it cost to bring in the many souls that were won, say, during the many Billy Graham Events?

Since President Trump has been in office, we are seeing unemployment at its lowest, and the Stock Market hitting new heights over and over. In less than a year of President Trump being voted into office, everything has shifted. This happened amidst the billions of dollars that went to funding those who ran against Donald Trump. Regardless of how much money is spent, the plans of men cannot succeed against the plans of God.

Since President Trump has taken the role of President over America, the onslaught of attacks against him haven’t stopped; regardless of what good was carried out under his Presidency. This is another confirmation of what the Lord spoke to Taylor. ” They will say things about this man, the enemy, but it will not affect him and they will say it rolls off of him like the duck. Even as the feathers of a duck protect it, so shall My feathers protect this next President.” Regardless of what we see the Mainstream Media News do or say, Taylor points out, as directed by the Lord, there will be a shift, even in the media’s coverage of President Trump. ” Even Mainstream News Media will be captivated by this man and the abilities that I have gifted him with, and they will even begin to agree with him’, says the Spirit of God.” Don’t be ashamed of the man that God has positioned into leadership. As the Church, we cannot remain silent in this hour. There are many leaders throughout the nation and the world that have spoken with President Trump. What is most significant, is how the President listens when Faith Leaders come to him. Now is the time to be the Church that God called the Church to be.

Cross Still Stands: Appeal in Motion- United Rally Makes the Difference

LISTEN NOW! (Or WATCH FULL PROGRAM!) Believers across Northwest Florida are gathering in Pensacola to show their support of a large Cross that has been in place for over 75 years. U.S. District Court Judge, Roger Vinson, has recently ruled that the existence of the Cross violates the separation of church and state. According to USA Today, “The American Humanists Association and the Freedom From Religion Foundation filed a lawsuit against the city asking for the cross to be removed because they said it violated the separation of church and state”. The Beckett Fund has offered its legal services to represent the city of Pensacola, free of charge. The Beckett Fund is the same non-profit organization that offered its services when Hobby Lobby came under fire for refusing to comply with the Obamacare mandate regarding birth control. As believers have convened to rally in support of the Cross staying, the Judge has now ruled that the city be allowed more time to appeal the decision. “However, I concluded my order with an invitation for the Supreme Court to revisit and reconsider its Establishment Clause jurisprudence.” Judge Vinson continues, “Apparently taking the first step to that end, the City has filed a motion to stay my judgment pending an appeal to ‘the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals, and, if necessary, the Supreme Court.” This is a significant swing in a positive direction for the Cross remaining where it stands. This Cross has been part of Pensacola’s Bayview Park since 1941. As many people gathered around the Cross in Bayview Park, several took their time to share their thoughts about what it meant to them for the Cross to remain in the Park, and be a part of Pensacola. A medical doctor who practices as a OB/GYN, shared about the significance of what is found in the Preamble of the Constitution. “It says, ‘to secure the blessings of liberty, to ourselves and our posterity’”. He elaborates the importance to carry on these rights and blessings so that the generations after us will have the same blessings we have today. The doctor continues to describe Arlington National Cemetery and the 400,000+ graves that are located there. “The vast majority have a little white Cross. Is that the establishment of a religion? No.” In the middle of his comments, a woman attempts to interrupt his time attempting to express her own thoughts against the existence of the Cross. As she is escorted away from the microphone, the doctor adds, “Yeah, we have the freedom of speech, but we also have the right to peace-ably assemble”. During the past administration, it appeared that there was a continual chipping away of the freedom in America as many began to question and doubt the very freedoms that we are afforded in America and no longer had full confidence in the ability to exercise the rights afforded in the Constitution. Many Believers are recognizing these lies for what they are and using their voices to stand up for what they believe in. Former House of Representative, Mike Hill, also shared his thoughts. Mike Hill speaks about America’s Constitution and the statements that our forefathers put in the Preamble of the Constitution. “Our founding fathers put that in place, I believe was a God inspired document, not God breathed, but a God inspired document that did this simple thing; Let my people go. Set the people free so that they can worship Me in spirit, and in truth, and prosper”. At the time of this rally, Judge Vinson had yet to change his decision on the matter. In response to the original decision, Mike Hill talks about three possible options the city has. “We can appeal the decision…another step we can do is to lease the property. We lease the property to a private, non-profit organization for a long-term period.” And lastly, he expresses, “to buy the property”. It is so exciting to see so many from across the region gathering together to rally in support of this Cross remaining in the park. Mike Hill elaborates on the responsibility that we have in our generation, as well as the next. “Years from now, when your children or grandchildren ask the question, ‘what did you do when they were trying to remove the Cross? Did you just stay at home? … Or did you come out in support of our religious freedom?” Thank God that there have been the generations who have gone before us that remained faithful in their generation to carry the baton that was handed to them. That same baton has been handed to our generation and will one day be passed on to the next generation. Pastor Joey Rogers, of Pace Assembly, hits the nail on the head with the urgent reality of this moment. “This is our window of opportunity. If we miss this, we may never get it again.” Pastor Rogers continues, “For everyone who makes their stand, it will be heard in the halls of our government. Politicians are looking for the feedback of the public. And when you’ve got four that are saying tear it down, and you’ve got this amount of people that showed up, it will make all the difference in the world.” Dean Easterwood, owner of Ears 2 Hear Hearing Center, was also in attendance to show his support of the Bayview Cross. “This is just my part of showing up, and doing my part. Even if it was to stand here, and listen, and be in agreement. I was counted today. This one person was counted today. If you look around, they were all counted today.” This is such a powerful truth that the Church will be greatly encouraged by. The enemy does all he can to lie to you about the significance and power of your voice. When many come together in unity for glory of God, it is an unstoppable force. Pastor Dennis Louis of McIlwein Presbyterian Church shared an insightful truth of our voices being heard in the public square. “Our government is willing to have our tax dollars in the public coffers, they’re willing to have our blood on the land in foreign wars, they’re willing to have our children in their public schools, but they don’t want to have our voices in the public square, and they don’t want to have our public symbols in the public square.” It is so exciting to see believers gathering in the awareness of the power of their presence when they stand up for what they believe in. The question is; does God belong in the Public Square? The answer is yes! When we look at the capital of our nation; Washington D.C., we see the hand of God etched into walls and monuments all across our capital. Newt Gingrich has written a powerful book, Rediscovering God in America, which describes just a handful of national monuments: The Jefferson Memorial, The Lincoln Memorial, as well as others, that point to the existence of our Lord. As many are gathering in Pensacola to exercise what they believe in, hundreds of thousands are about to gather in Washington, D.C. to Awaken the Dawn. During October 6-9, fifty tents will be setup, each tent representing one of America’s 50 states. Visionary of Awaken the Dawn, David Bradshaw, discusses this awesome event with IHOP-KC’s Mike Bickle. This isn’t another concert or event where people show up to see other people get involved. No, you have a part to play. VFNtv Celebrates 5 Years of Broadcasting

May is a moment of celebration for many people for many different reasons. But, for all of us at VFNtv, it is a time to remember the moment that God called us to broadcast on air. This May we celebrate five years! We didn’t know anything about what to do when God called us out. But, by listening to His voice and following His voice, here we are amazed at all the Lord has done.

It was also through the leading of the Lord that we started a 24-hour prayer watch, with 8 three hour watches, every Monday. Since 2009, we have been faithfully carrying out this 24-hour offering to the Lord. It was during these watches that the Lord spoke to Greg to begin VFNtv. Within seven days of that initial word from the Lord, God had provided not only the wisdom on how to make this a reality, but also the needed finances to begin. As birth has a time of walking things out, the first program was 120 mins of a single breath and the exhale didn’t appear to finally be released until about halfway through the program. Greg and Pat had their own humorous interactions in those beginning days. Now five years later, God has matured us from radio, and now to television where we are on the Gulf Coast with WHBR and CTN broadcasting to over 1.4 million people.

Since God has called us out to begin VFNtv, He has also given us the wisdom to create the VFNTorch. There is only so much that you can see and hear watching television, or listening to on an audio broadcast. The VFNTorch connects all the dots of past discussions with Related Articles as well as current resources with Related Content. To date, there are now over 6,000 individual posts on the VFNTorch that give a depth of resources and connected conversations that give our audiences a depth of information to research even further on many of the topics that we discuss. Everything that we are saying and discussed is backed up with sources and references so that you can be educated and informed about what you are sharing with others.

When others would be simply repeating a statement or a quote, you can actually be educated and knowledgeable with what you’re speaking about because you know the source. This is also why we have the “Connect the Dots” Segments on VFNtv. Many of the topics that we are discussing, the Lord has been speaking and revealing to us for many years. If another source is simply talking about the news of today, you can see the continual story that has led up to what we are now seeing in the world and understand how we got here. Secular media is missing the DNA of the story.

God has also given us the wisdom to launch the VFNtv App. You can download it for free on the iTunes App Store, the Google Play Store, and the Windows App. Similar to when VFNtv was birthed, the app was birthed during a prayer watch. When Greg was on watch, he suddenly found himself sitting at his desk, looking at an app that was created in Tel-Aviv Israel. There are literally no limitations when it comes to VFNtv.

We have also created the Torch Newsletter that is sent out electronically, via email, every week. The Torch Newsletter captures the best of the best of what was covered in the VFNTorch every week. Images, Descriptions, and Audios are all brought together in one clear and simple email. All of this content is gathered each and every day for you, and we do all that we can to provide it on a myriad of platforms so that you can view it in a way that works best for you.

There is so much information in our culture that we should be careful what we are listening and paying attention to. It is one thing to have information and it is another to have wisdom. In all that we share, we seek to share information that lines up Biblically with practical applications so that you have wisdom for the times we are living in. So many profess to know information, but very few have wisdom. As an example, those that are becoming citizens of the America know more about the nation than citizens born in America know. Which is why we had The U.S. Citizenship Test on VFNtv. You can listen to this humorous, yet insightful series of broadcasts and learn from our own humiliation as we learn out loud and take the test that every individual applying for citizenship in America must take.

God has continually expanded our wings as we have grown in the realm of Social Media with our Facebook page. Over 100,000 people have connected with us on Facebook. We are also excited about our new Twitter page that we have begun. Our most recent addition, is our YouTube page that was launched just over a month ago. It is so exciting to see all that the Lord has spoken to us about and given us the wisdom, and most importantly, the needed grace to walk out in order to encourage those that we are reaching. Pastor Greg Laurie; End Times and North Korea

As so many things are happening in continual headlines throughout the world, many people are wondering and asking where we are on the prophetic time table of Biblical Times. As more and more attention is turning to North Korea, some are asking if North Korea is in in the Bible. North Korea is not mentioned in Scripture, but Iran is. Reportedly, as soon as North Korea gets the ability to produce a nuclear weapon, Iran will have one the next day with a simple stroke of a pen by filling out a check. As President Trump is preparing to be in Jerusalem this month, the same month that Israel celebrates “Jerusalem Day”, talks are happening of a potential move of the U.S. Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem. Since this is a Jubilee Year, this would surely be a Jubilee Year event. At the same time, the potential of war is rising and bubbling all around the world. To highlight how urgent the reality of a possible war with North Korea is, Pastor Greg Laurie, not known to speak about such topics of the End Times, recently posted his thoughts of this issue on his Facebook page.

“As you know, this conflict with this rogue nation has escalated dramatically in recent days and even hours.”As we see multiple threats that Kim Jong-Un, North Korea’s leader, is expressing, we can see how volatile this situation is. Pastor Laurie begins to talk about the concerns of America not being present in the last days “because we’ve been in some kind of a nuclear conflict.” But, he addresses what we need to do in this hour. “We need to pray for our president right now, and please, don’t tell me ‘well he’s not my president. I didn’t vote for him.’ He’s the president of the United States. Pray for him.” 1 Timothy 2:1-2 even highlights how we must do this.

As Pastor Laurie recently had the opportunity of being invited to the White House for the National Day of Prayer, he is also gathering with other leaders to continue to pray with the President. He points out what we, as Christians, need to be focusing our prayers on in this vital hour. “We need to be focusing on prayer and on preaching. In fact, this verse really spells it out. I already read that we’re to pray for our president, but then it goes on to say for God desires all men to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. Then it goes on to say for there’s one God, and one mediator between God and man, and its’s a man Christ Jesus who gave Himself as a ransom for all.” This is the message that all of the world needs to hear in this hour, and during every hour; Jesus Christ is Lord and that He died for the sins of all mankind.

PROPHECY! Hand of God Appears in the Sky as Pastors Gather in Repentance?

Sometimes looking back brings an abundance of encouragement during very stressful times and seasons. Under the previous administration, God was revealing warning after warning of things that were on the horizon. As we have witnessed, God suddenly released mercy. As we have sought to continually share the accurate Word of God in all that we do, God had revealed to us His own thoughts of what had been shared in pulpits across America. God was upset with what was being spoken from the pulpits in America.

During one particular boardroom meeting, God led a prophetic man to prophesy that the Lord was angry with the Church in regard to what was being said. God showed one man a stack of podiums, stacked up like a pyramid. Suddenly the hand of God came and shoved it all violently to the ground. It wasn’t about the physical podium itself, but what was being said from behind the podiums.

Suddenly, a minister contacts Greg Lancaster and shares that he has a podium that he would like to give to him. This man begins to share his heart that he has been able to win more people to the Lord in his workplace than all the times he preached standing behind a podium. He wanted to get back to the simplicity of winning souls to the Lord. With the prophetic word of God’s take on these podiums fresh in Greg’s memory as straightforward and blunt as could be, he told this man, “If you give it to me, I’m going to burn it!” The man was so excited to hear what Greg was going to do. “THIS IS GOD! I FEEL GOD!”

Only a few days later, leaders from around the nation gathered together and repented for the many religious words and false teachings that had been shared behind the pulpits across America. We asked the Lord to forgive us for what had been done and said to His Church. The Fear of the Lord was so tangible during this moment as the podium was turned to ashes as it was engulfed in flames. As the podium was burning, The Hand of God appeared in the sky. This is what was taking place in the heavenlies as prayers of repentance were being lifted up. God not only knows all things, but He is also everywhere at the same time.
