LISTEN NOW! WATCH FULL PROGRAM! We are now only days away from the approaching cinematic release of the movie ‘The Shack’. It is the motion picture release of the book, “The Shack”. The Shack refers to the deep and dark places in our hearts where many of our deepest pains and sorrows are. As the storyline unfolds, we see one man experience a devastating reality and then the invitation to his own shack. As only a few have been able to see the pre-screening of this motion picture, Rick Joyner, with Morningstar Ministries, was able to see the film first hand. He gives an insightful response considering the controversy of possible topics discussed as well as his own thoughts on the making of the film. “Australia Prime Minister Stands up for Israel and against the BDS Movement
 
The nations are awakening to the truth about Israel and the importance of standing in support and alongside Israel. The recent statements from the Prime Minister of Australia, Malcolm Turnbull is a testament to this reality. Prime Minister Turnbull openly stated, “My government will not support one-sided resolutions criticizing Israel of the kind recently adopted by the Security Council,” He continued to express, “We deplore the boycott campaigns which are designed to delegitimize the Jewish state.”
 
The “boycott campaigns” are the realities of the “Boycott, Divestment, and Sanctions Movement” (BDS). Alan Dershowitz further explains the sinister plots of this movement to undermine the peace and existence of the State of Israel. “Created by Palestinian academics, it calls on individuals, on companies, colleges, churches, cities, even countries, to starve Israel and isolate it socially.” As the many arguments are going back and forth regarding the issue of a “Two-State Settlement”, Dershowitz points out these important facts. “The leaders of the BDS Movement have no interest in a two-state solution. They reject the concept of Israel as the nation state of the Jewish people…by aligning yourself with the BDS Movement, you are aligning yourself with people who don’t want to see both sides thrive. They want to want to see one side, Israel, destroyed.”
 
As America, has elected a new Ambassador to the United Nations, Nikki Haley, she has expressed clear and concise words to the United Nations about its recent actions towards Israel. “I’m here to say, the United States will not turn a blind eye to this anymore. I’m here to underscore the ironclad support of the United States for Israel. I’m here to emphasize the United States is determined to stand up to the U.N.’s anti-Israel biases.” It is vital to understand and comprehend that if someone or some nation is an enemy of Israel, they are an enemy of God. Virginia Governor says no to Home School Athletes in Public Schools, “The Tebow Rule”
 
As many watched the journey of Tim Tebow from his collegiate career with the Florida Gators, to his arrival to the NFL with the Denver Broncos, as well as his commentating career, some may not be aware of his beginnings before making it to the University of Florida. In his high school years, Tebow was home schooled. Because of the local laws, he could participate in the local public school’s athletics. But, for current home school athletes in Virginia, it appears that prospective athletes must wait for another year to possibly participate in public school athletics.
 
According to CBN News, “Gov. Terry McAuliffe, D-Va. has vetoed the so-called “Tebow bill,” which would overturn a state ban on home-school students participating in high school sports and other interscholastic activities.” Governor McAuliffe continues further expresses that passing the bill “would disrupt the level playing field Virginia’s public schools have developed over the past century”.
 
We are seeing a new turn in education in America with the election of Betsy DeVos as the chairwoman of the Department of Education. Because of her experience with home schools and charter schools, as well as her desire to allow the decisions of how to best educate students to be placed in the hands of the parents, and not in the hands of the teachers, all of this may be changing. Father Speaks Out Against Sex Trafficking Realities, A Warning to Parents Everywhere
 
Many of us can attest to the reality that how our current generation of kids and teenagers are growing up, is entirely new uncharted territory compared to how childhood was 20 years ago. As one father describes his daughter’s relentless attention to social media and technology, he was surprised to find out how a recent decision to let her travel to Reno ended up.
 
“Yesterday, I get a call from the sheriff, and they have my child in San Jose; and she had been a victim of a sting.”He further describes what had taken place. “It was a nationwide investigation company that was investigating minors being sold online for sex.” Further explaining what unfolded, he gets to the heart of the matter. “This could happen to anybody’s child. You think your kids on the phone, or on the internet, whatever, you think you know what they’re doing…this world doesn’t care about our children man, we got to!”
 
She could have ended up being sex trafficked across America or taken to an entirely different nation. Social Media continually portrays a reality that is nothing but luring children and teenagers into a false sense of hope. Looking strictly through technology, we have no idea who it is that is on the other end. Technology is simply not real and it can never replace authentic relationships. Roy Fields’ Impersonation of President Donald Trump on God TV

 

Lindell Cooley is known as the worship leader who God called to be part of the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola Florida. Roy Fields was the worship leader that God called to be a part of the Lakeland Outpouring that took place in Lakeland, Florida.  John Michael Kilpatrick is the son of Pastor John Kilpatrick who God called to lead the Brownsville Revival in Pensacola, Florida. When all three of these men came together for a brief moment on GOD TV, it was a humorous moment, especially when Roy Fields was called out to demonstrate his best President Trump impersonation. You are sure to enjoy a heartfelt laugh as you see Fields in a new way, as well as his new edition to one of Lindell Cooley’s songs, and so much more. Revisiting’ the Shack’ within our own hearts; Sitting down with William Paul Young, Author of “The Shack”

LISTEN OR WATCH NOW! As the book “The Shack” is about to be released in cinematic theaters, many are re-visiting the powerful story that is read in the pages of the New York Times best-selling book, “The Shack”. What some may not be aware of is the powerful journey that took place in the life of Paul Young, who authored the book. Host of ‘Life Today’, James Robison was able to sit down with Young and not only talk about the story, but also the story behind the story.
 
Before Robison begins discussing the power of the book, he shares how this book has impacted his own life and that he read the book in less than 48 hours. “The Shack is where people get stuck and we need a meeting with God, where we’re stuck, if we’re ever to get unstuck.” This is the storyline of what took place to the book’s main character, “Mack” and how he was led to face some of his own difficult realities in his life. In Mack’s journey, he encounters the Trinity, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit. As Robison continues to recount what Mack learns on his journey, “It’s not about religion, it’s about relationship.”
 
The author of the book, Young, had his own trials and failures; in his marriage and life. Looking back at what transpired through the entire journey, Young recounts his wife’s response to their overwhelming journey. “The pain was hard, the failure is not right…but this man [Young] is worth it”. This is where we see the transforming power of God for the reality that it is; greater than all the pain and hurt that we experience in our lives. It is through relationship with the Father, Son and Holy Spirit that we see His miraculous hand of healing in our lives.
 
As Young points out the importance for each of us to be brought into relationship with the Father through Jesus Christ, he also points out how the portrayal of The Father in the book has challenged many readers. “One of the dominant images in the book, is that Papa has nail scars in his wrists, The Father”. As Young points out, it is in 2 Corinthians 5:19 that we read, “that God was reconciling the world to himself in Christ, not counting people’s sins against them.”
 
As Young walks through the importance of see God as the Father, he compares the different use of the term “Father” in the Old Testament compared to the New Testament. ‘The word ‘father’ is only used 15 times in the entire Old Testament, and its only used in a general sense.’ When he points out its mention in the New Testament, he shares, “John’s Gospel uses the word ‘father’ over 100 times; and he uses it personally”. This understanding challenges our perspective of who the Father is with His desire of us to know Him as He truly is. Young continues to express, “That is so exploding our old concepts and precepts that Father, Son and Holy Spirit are in relationship; and they come to dwell in me as a habitation, and not just a visitation.”
 
As powerful as this story has been in its written form of “The Shack”, it is now about to be released in theaters. Some have concerns that the character of “Papa”, The Father, is portrayed as a woman. With this in mind, it is important to look at Genesis 1:27, “So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them.” We can often read things with a perception that wasn’t the original intention of how they were originally written. As Young also points out, “Imagery was never intended to define God”.
 

The Shack is a riveting story that will deeply impact all of those that are not only able to read it, but now also see the movie. Christmas Eve- 1914; Two Nations brought Together through Soccer – 12 Days of Christmas
 
We want to remember our military, and the sacrifices they embrace for our freedom. We are so thankful for each man and woman who has said “yes” to join our military. It is the 1% that fights for the freedom of the other 99%. As we begin this first day of our “12 Days of Christmas”, so many will be touched with joy, as well as with as tears as we see what took place on Christmas Eve during World War I when two nations were brought together over a single game of soccer, and so much more. Sainsbury’s Christmas commercial, trench warfare, war, Silent Night, and chocolate. Greg shared in this segment.

“They destroyed everything, but they could not destroy our faith or our will”.  Sister Diana sees the True Devastation of ISIS after Returning to her home in Mosul, Iraq
 
When the world watched as Radical Islamist fighters stormed through Iraq and Syria, many in America didn’t have a true understanding of just how violent and barbaric these fighters were. That was until reports began to be televised throughout our nation and the world. As one who personally experienced this evil, Sister Diana Momeka spoke before Congress to share about her memories.
 
We cannot begin to fathom what it must be like to learn that your city is being invaded by ISIS. But, with these words, we begin to get a true understanding, “It was quite a shock for us, because we used to watch the news on TV that ISIS took over Mosul, but we never thought, someday, in a few hours, we’d be out of our homes; left with nothing at all.” She points out that she escaped with only the clothes on her back, literally. As others in the region were similarly forced from their homes, many were forced into sex slavery, and marriage with these Islamic fighters.
 
Miriam was another one of these women who was affected by Radical Islam. She was a refugee in a Jordanian refugee camp. When interviewed by SAT-7, she was asked about her response to the ISIS fighters. “I won’t do anything to them, I will only ask God to forgive them.” Even after being forced from her own home, her friends, and all that she knew in her city of Qaraqoush, she only had forgiveness in her heart towards them.
 
When Sister Diana was forced from her home in Mosul, Iraq, the day has now come when she is able to return to her home, as ISIS has now been the ones driven from Mosul. She spoke with CBN’s Chris Mitchell, as she literally walked through the streets of her home and witnessed the devastation that ISIS had caused. She points out the damage to the church building that her parents were married in, The Immaculate Conception Cathedral. It wasn’t just the building that the ISIS fighters destroyed, but every existence of the Cross. “So they are against every Christian symbol, against everything actually. You know, wherever you see there is a Cross, they took it down.” She continues to point out detailed damage, “You see here, we have the altar, there were Crosses in there, so wherever you see the damage, they tried to do as much as they have in their power to say, ‘you Christians, stop living here, this is not your land.’” Amidst the sobering reality of devastation that was all around her, she remained unshaken. ‘They destroyed everything dear to us, but we tell them, ‘they could not destroy our wealth, our faith, our strength’. They could destroy material things, but what lives, is the eternal things.’
 
We must continue to stand in prayer for the Church in the Middle East, as well as the Church throughout the world that is suffering severe persecution for the steadfast faith in Jesus Christ. As we continue the 12 Days of Christmas, many families are beginning to prepare the foods that will be eaten during this time of Christmas. We want to thank the farmers of America that continually labor so that we have the blessings of food in America. Paul Harvey does an outstanding job describing the life of the farmer, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: fields, farming, and gratitude. Greg and Steve shared in this segment.
