Dugit Messianic Outreach Reaching Jews for Jesus in Tel Aviv

If you have not yet visited Israel, it is a beautiful place to visit and see. Some may not be aware, but Tel-Aviv is a city of considerable size. Reportedly, “Tel Aviv has the third-largest economy of any city in the Middle East… and has the 31st highest cost of living in the world.” Over 1 million people travel there to visit annually. In this bustling city, Avi Mizrachi, with Dugit Ministries is sharing the love of Jesus Christ, one cup of coffee at a time.

Initially starting as a small Bible study with a handful of people, it has now grown to the fellowship gathering that we see today. “It is a Hebrew speaking, local congregation…”, Avi shares. “It is wonderful to see that Jewish people are responding to the Good News.” Not only is the Gospel being shared, but homeless and needy are having their needs met. The Agape Distribution Center was opened to help meet the needs of these people. “Today, we feed about 80-100 families every month.”

After a trip to Korea, speaking about Israel, Mizrachi shares how the Lord began to burden his heart, “The Lord has really put in my heart that I need to go and look for a place and build him an altar…of prayer and worship, for breakthrough in this city of Tel-Aviv Jaffa.” The prayer tower was then born, which houses a prayer room on the top 12^th floor that looks out over all of Tel-Aviv.

Avi shares the critical times that we are facing and how to pray for what God is doing in Tel-Aviv. “I believe this is the harvest time. This is harvest time, and we need, more than ever, for people to pray for us, for laborers, for people to stand with us in such a time as this.”

Amidst tragedy that has taken place in Tel-Aviv, we want to encourage you with all the great work that is being done in the heart of this city. May 14 – the moving and celebration of the U. S. Embassy moving to Jerusalem and the prophetic significance

We are excited to report on this historical and prophetic move of the U.S. Embassy from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem. This is an exciting event that is an answer to many prayers and the start of many more prophetic events that will take place. “The Jewish People have been praying and working toward the day that Jerusalem becomes a praise among the nations,” Rabbi Gimpel reported by Breaking Israel News, and he shares a verse from Isaiah ‘I have posted watchmen on your walls, Jerusalem; they will never be silent day or night. You who call on the Lord, give yourselves no rest,and give him no rest till he establishes Jerusalem and makes her the praise of the earth.’ Now, we are seeing just the beginning of this prophecy as nations begin moving their embassies from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem,” Rabbi Gimpel said. “This is a step in the prophetic process of redemption…I would encourage those who say that President Trump is not a holy man and therefore can have no place in this Godly process to look to the book of Isaiah and Ezra where the divine plan of restoration was done through a man named Cyrus,” Rabbi Gimpel said. “It would be a tragic mistake to view this historic move as unintentional or a coincidence, coming, as it does, on Israel’s 70th anniversary.”

Pastor John Hagee is the founder and senior pastor of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio, Texas. In 2006 Pastor Hagee founded and is the National Chairman of Christians United for Israel (CUFI), a grass-roots organization which has grown to become the largest Christian pro-Israel group in the United States with over 3.5 million members. He expressed his joy and excitement over this move of the U.S. Embassy. Reported by Breaking Israel News Pastor Hagee gave the benediction at the embassy ceremony. “I was deeply honored to participate in this historic moment. Jerusalem is the eternal capital of Israel, and I am very proud of my country and my president for recognizing that fact,” said Pastor Hagee. “This moment would not have been possible were it not for President Trump’s courage and the unwavering commitment of CUFI’s 4.1 million members.” Pastor Hagee also shared on Fox News about President Donald Trump. “He will be remembered for thousands of years for his act of courage to treat Israel like we already treat other nations.”

Reportedly over 800 people attended this ceremony from the United States and Israel. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu shared his gratitude with President Trump. “What a glorious day. Remember this moment! President Trump, by recognizing history, you have made history. All of us are deeply moved. All of us are deeply grateful… Last December, President Trump became the first world leader to recognize Jerusalem as our capital, and today, the United States of America is opening its embassy right here in Jerusalem,” he said. “Thank you, President Trump, for having the courage to keep your promises!” President Trump addressed the gathering by video saying, “The U.S. will always be a great friend of Israel and a partner in the cause of freedom and peace. We extend a hand in friendship to Israel, the Palestinians and to all of their neighbors. May there be peace. May God bless this embassy. May God bless all who serve here, and may God bless the United States of America.”

Israeli President Reuven Rivlin shared, “Every U.S. President has promised to move the American embassy to Jerusalem. Finally, we have a leader who promised this, and also kept his promise! The Israeli people thanks you for keeping your word, for your courage, for your determination and for your firm, unwavering stance alongside the State of Israel,” he continued. “We hope and expect that other nations will follow your path and your leadership. We will continue to safeguard Jerusalem as a city of peace, as a home to all those of faith, a city of all its residents and citizens, of all religions and communities, who share together one city, which is so greatly loved by everyone.”

We are very encouraged by this answer to prayer of the U.S. embassy moving to Jerusalem. We at VFNKB have prayed for years as have many others around the world for this to take place. And we will continue to pray for and bless Israel and ask you to do the same as well. As Genesis says, “I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

New Poll Released 12 Issues Christians Want their Pastors to Preach About

George Barna, with The Barna Group, surveyed Christians asking what they wanted their Pastors to speak about. The released results had some surprising responses! Those that were surveyed, 72% wanted to hear about Islam. What are the core beliefs of Islam? This was # 12 on the list. As a Christian how do you respond to Islam? On VFNtv we talk about different religions including Islam, so you can be educated and understand how to respond to Islam. Of the American Muslims, 52 % agree with a forceful takeover of the U.S Constitution to enforce Shariah Law. We need to know the differences between religions. There are only about 4 million Muslims in America, and the media is making a big boast of the Muslims that are living in America. How it has been talked about on media you would think that number would be greater. At # 11, 73% said that wanted to know: What is the role of The Church in Government? The First Amendment was created to keep the government out of the Church, not the Church out of government. People are wanting their Pastors to teach them about Church, Politics and Government. We are about freedom of speech in America! The next desired topic of discussion is at #10, 75% want to know about Self Governance. Many people are trying to find some hero to come in to rescue them, but America is about all of us working together doing our part. As Christians we need to be a disciple of Jesus, we are held individually accountable before Him for our lives. God expects us to govern our lives according to His word. At #9, 76% want to know about Bioethics: Cloning, euthanasia, genetic engineering…, many people are trying to live a longer life on this earth, but life is a vapor and as believers we should be teaching about eternal life. At #8, 76% want their Pastors to discuss the Role of Government. Americans need to learn our history. It is very important to understand the role of government, which you can learn from the history of America and where we came from. The next issue at #7, 79% want to know more about Christian Heritage: role of Christian faith in American history, church role in U.S. development…, many of these topics are discussed on VFNtv. David Barton, talks about our Christian heritage in his, American Heritage Series, and does a great job at explaining it. As a Pastor you can get these DVD’s from David Barton and use those to educate your congregation about this topic or even as an individual this is a great series to buy as well. At #6, 80% want to hear about Israel: It’s role in the world. Christian responsibility to Israel, U.S. foreign policy toward Israel and its enemies. Wealth Transfer in America, Tied to Embassy Move to Jerusalem – P.M. Netanyahu Addresses CUFI, DC Summit

It is so exciting to see the Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu taking his time to greet Pastor Hagee and all the exuberant supporters of Israel who took part in this year’s CUFI Annual Summit in Washington D.C. As is customary to the optimism and encouragement to the Prime Minister, Prime Minister Netanyahu wasted no time expressing his deep gratitude for the United States of America and the close bonds its citizens share with the citizens of Israel. “The millions and the many millions in the United States, and elsewhere, the Christian friends in Israel, you are always there for us. We have no better friends on Earth than you.”

The Prime Minister recalls that fateful day when all the Israelis heard the news that the Temple Mount was in their hands and the Jewish people were able to travel to the Western Wall for the first time and place their hands on the stones that were so precious to their heritage, and their lives. “I remember that when we touched those stones, we felt that we were connecting with the very core of our history. I know that when you visit Israel, when you come to Jerusalem, you feel that same connection.”

As he highlights this remarkable memory, he addresses how the Temple Mount is in the center of religious controversy, and how many have perceived the state of Israel falsely. The Prime Minister shares about the deep culture within Israel that stands out amidst all of its neighbors in the region.

“The only place where you have religious freedom guaranteed is Israel. The only place where you have Christian communities throughout the Middle East, the only place that they thrive, that they grow, that they not only survive, but they have a future, that place is Israel…Israel represents the freedom that we all cherish.”

The Prime Minister describes a common misconception about why so many in the region hate Israel. But, it is not for the reason that many would think. “They used to say that the Militant Islamists hate the West because of Israel. It’s actually the other way around, they hate Israel because of the West.” He continues to describe the values that are loathed so much within the society of Israel. “Because we represent the free society built on the foundation of Judeo-Christian heritage. This is the society that they despise so much. Israel is the bull work of freedom in the heart of the Middle East.”

The Prime Minister deeply shares his heart as he extends his genuine thanks for everyone that stands for Israel. “I want to tell you that we appreciate your support. I want to tell you, that when I look around the world, there is real meaning to what I said before. When I say that we have no greater friends than the many, many millions of Christian supporters of Israel in the United States and also in other parts of the world, I mean it. I know you’ve always, always stood with us.”

This is such an uplifting and encouraging moment to see so many supporters of Israel gathered in one place, and to see the Prime Minister deeply sharing his heart of gratitude for our support. Moving US Embassy to Jerusalem? Congressional Delegation in Israel on Exploration Trip

LISTEN NOW! Many had hoped that the Trump Administration would have made the topic of moving the American Embassy from Tel-Aviv Jaffa to Jerusalem a number one priority by addressing it as soon as he took office. It hasn’t happened that way. The President has not only been looking deeply into the topic, but a delegation recently traveled to Israel to look further into the matter.

CBN reports on the recent update regarding the delegation and their events while in Israel. Florida Congressman Ron DeSantis addressed that the delegation was not sent by President Trump, but that it was important to research the matter. “I thought it was important to come out and get some knowledge in the Congress about where this thing will actually be”. He also shared that “[President Trump’s] in a position where he’s either going to follow his campaign promise or he’s going to have to sign this waiver…” When Congress signed the Jerusalem Embassy Act in 1995 requiring the US Embassy to be moved from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem, every President has postponed the act due to “security” by signing a waiver every 6 months. As CBN reports, the delegation visited potential embassy sites, as well as met with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

As President Trump now mans the Office of the President, he has the approaching opportunity to be the first President since the Jerusalem Embassy Act was passed, to make it a reality. The last waiver signed by former President Barack Obama expires in May of 2017. While speaking to reporters, Congressman DeSantis points out three reasons why he thinks it’s important to move the embassy to Jerusalem. Most notably, “I think it really shows that America is standing, for square behind our allies here in Israel…”

Jerusalem has always been the capital of Israel and it is the true capital of Israel regardless of the fact that the many embassies from the nations around the world are currently located in Tel-Aviv Jaffa. Israel is God’s land. It is God’s people. Israel will never be pushed into the seas as some countries may claim. President Trump’s Weekly Address March 3, 2017

President Trump continues to express his encouragement and hope as he details and updates the American people regarding an overview of what his team carried out this last week in his weekly address.

Although, it was optimistic and hopeful as President Trump usually is, this address was slightly different as it was aboard the, soon-to-be-commissioned, USS Gerald R Ford. He describes America’s aircraft carriers as “the centerpiece of American military might projecting power and are totally unparalleled strength at sea.” In addition, the USS Gerald R. Ford specifically “represents the future of naval aviation and she will serve as a cornerstone of our national defense for decades and decades to come”.

The President addressed his recent speech to a joint session of Congress and his budget plan to cut spending while also growing our nation’s military to the size and strength that it needs to be. Some of the branches within our military are the smallest they have been since Word War I. His plans are not to continue down the road that has been presented to our military in the past. “Investing in the military means investing in peace because the best way to prevent war as George Washington said is to be prepared for it.”

Geert Wilders; Marked for Death, Author and Possible next Prime Minister of Netherlands Interview: NEXIT- Take Netherlands Out of the European Union

The need for a voice sounding out against the established policies of government and politics is not only happening in America, it is also happening in the European country of The Netherlands. Geert Wilders is continually known as an outspoken voice against the politics of government. As CBN reports, he may be carrying out a similar shakeup of the established government in the Netherlands as President Donald Trump is doing in America, just don’t call Wilders ‘The Donald Trump of the Netherlands’.

Wilders is a resounding voice against the European Union and its presence in Europe. With his outspoken stance on government, he isn’t against all government, as he himself is a politician. His most recent comments have received backlash considering it “hate speech”. His crime? He stated that “there are too many Moroccans in the Netherlands”. As he continues to share the evidence that served as the foundation for his comments, he shared this. “80 percent of the Dutch jihadists who go to fight in Syria are Moroccans. 80 percent. They are 22 times over represented when it comes to street crime, and 60 percent of the Moroccan youth under the age of 23 has been arrested at least once…” What he also describes as “ridiculous” is the Dutch judge that decided to consider Moroccans as a “race”.

Wilders is not the only one who has made these observations. According to Wilders, “The people are fed up by if they say something about the influx of the mass immigration from mostly Islamic countries”. He continues, “what they really feel is the threat for the safety of their daughters who go to school or their parents who walk in the park or themselves going shopping on a Thursday evening in Holland – they are being called racist if they make a remark about, ‘hey this is not our country anymore.’”

What makes the times increasingly strenuous on the Dutch economy is the double standards that are taking place within the Dutch government. Wilders explains, “…our government has spent billions of euros on them, and the Dutch people know. They have had the past few years enormous, tough, austerity measures. Pensions were cut. The public health services for elderly people were cut.” While this was happening, the government had a different take on those coming into the country. “And at the same time people saw while the government has these enormous austerity measures, that the government spent billions of euros on asylum seekers who really weren’t asylum seekers but migrants looking for a better life.”

Looking at the picture as a whole, Wilders isn’t focused on the asylum seekers, but the government. “I don’t even blame the people for trying to have a better life here. I blame our government for allowing it to happen; for not saying ‘enough is enough you are not a refugee’, we have to defend our own country and close our borders.” As is true with America, as is true with every nation, Wilder addresses the urgent priority of an established border. “A country without a border is like a person in a house without a front door. Anybody can enter and you cannot ask anybody to leave.”

Nationalism is beginning to happen again in the world, as was addressed by Rick Joyner. It is okay to be Israeli. It is okay to get our nation back to its original intentions. The enemy wants a borderless society. God has the ability and control to establish a nation, as well as the full capabilities to take down a nation. Lori McKeeman, VFNtv Audience Member, Serves the Israeli Defense Forces Every Year

It is so encouraging to know how we are reaching our many audience members through the region of the Gulf Coast as well as throughout the world. It is additionally encouraging when we are able to meet them in person and hear them share their heart towards what the Lord is doing in their lives. Lori McKeeman recently visited the VFN Dream Center and talked about how the Lord has opened up opportunities to sow and bless Israel.

When anyone considers the potential possibility of traveling to Israel, all they have to do is listen to Lori’s words of her times in the Holy Land. When some would choose a suite in a local hotel, Lori chooses a more “hands on” approach. She has stayed in the barracks of the IDF, along with the soldiers. She gets involved in everything she can, just for the sheer opportunity to support and bless the IDF; everything from sweeping the streets, to fixing communication equipment. On a recent trip, she stayed in Beer Sheva that provided views of the Iron Dome.

Lori was not only able to bless the IDF with her support and services, but she was also able to bless others by sharing the Gospel. As she explains, every time she goes, God shows her an open door to minister to others and share the Gospel with them. While she blesses others, she has also received blessings, especially when she was able to learn Hebrew from a former IDF soldier who now lives in the Gulf Coast region.

“It is difficult to resist the conclusion that 20th Century Man has decided to abolish himself. Tired of the struggle to be himself, he has created boredom out of his own affluence, impotence out of his erotomania, and vulnerability out of his own strength. What is surprisingly intriguing about these words is how accurate they are to today’s generation. Zacharias continues to add to these words by pointing out how we have become the essence of each of these observations. We thought the 60’s were bad. It has only gotten worse. The enemy knows how deeply valuable and important family is and has done everything in his arsenal to destroy any recollection or similarity to it. Now, we no longer know our own gender, we no longer know who we are, or how to relate as family. America will Be Blessed! President Elect Trump to Move Embassy to Jerusalem

It is so important how we view Israel. It matters what we do toward Israel and it also matters what we don’t do toward Israel. America was not positioning itself in a good place when the Democratic Partybooed the acknowledgement of Jerusalem as the capital of Israel to be placed in their 2012 platform. When we look at Genesis 12:3, “I will bless those who bless [Israel], and whoever curses [Israel] I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through [Israel]”, we can see just how severe the consequences can be. With the new administration about to take office, this is all to change.

According to CBN News, President Elect Donald Trump has already been looking at tentative sites to relocate the U.S. Embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem. Not only is President Elect Trump recognizing Jerusalem as the capital of Israel, he is doing this before he has even taken office as President of the United States.

CBN’s Chris Mitchell points out that the Embassy has yet to be moved from Tel-Aviv to Jerusalem even though the 1995 “Jerusalem Embassy Act” was passed as public law stating that “the relocation of the United States Embassy to Jerusalem ‘‘should take place no later than . . . 1999”’’. Now, more than 20 years from the passing of the law, we are beginning to see this move taking place.

Trump, Israel & American Relations. Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu Speaks Out, A Shifting Taking Place

America’s relationship with Israel is so important. Since the establishment of the state of Israel, America was there acknowledging their existence and standing beside them. As Prime Minister of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu understands the importance of their relationship with America. When he sat down with 60 Minutes Lesley Stahl, he spoke about this relationship as well as many other issues that Israel is experiencing.

As America, has been watching President Elect Trump’s transition to the White House, Prime Minister Netanyahu is aware of not only President Elect Trump, but also his relationship toward Israel. ‘I know him very well. And I think his attitude, his support for Israel is clear. He feels very warmly about the Jewish state and about the Jewish people. There’s no question about that.’

As the Prime Minister shares his perspective of President Elect Trump, Stahl turns the attention toward the Iran Deal that took place during the Obama Administration and the Prime Minister’s response to the deal. “I think it’s my responsibility, to speak up when something threatens our very future.” This should be no question. If someone were threatening the very safety and peace of America, we would want the leadership of America to speak out against it as well. In this matter, it is important to note that Israel is 70 miles wide at its widest point.

As Prime Minister Netanyahu has been fully aware of his own state of Israel, he is also aware of the dangers and threats posed by Iran since the inception of the Nuclear Deal. Some would say that the onsite inspections of the Iran Deal have provided intelligence for Israel. For those, the Prime Minister responds with a simple, “No”. Per the Prime Minister, the one good thing to come from this deal was not about intelligence, “The only good thing that I can say about the deal with Iran is that it brought the Arab states and Israel closer together.” As the Prime Minister continues to expand on this reality, he shares, “Israel’s position in the Arab world has changed because they no longer see Israel as their enemy but as their ally in their indispensable battle against the forces of militant Islam.” As Stahl continues to ask about Israel’s relations with multiple countries in the Middle East, the Prime Minister simply shares in a simple and concise manner.

As the conversation switches from the Middle East to the topic of Russia, the Prime Minister describes Israel’s relationship with Russia this way; “It’s amicable. But the minute Mr. Putin decided to put his military forces in Syria, I went to see him. And I said, “Look, here’s what I’m doing. I’m not intervening in Syria. But at the same time, if Syria tries to intervene with us, if Iran tries to use Syria to attack us, we’ll stop it.” If there was a war going on in Canada that was encroaching upon the Northern borders of America, we would visit the leadership of Canada to talk as well.

Stahl continues to question Israel’s relationship with Russia as well as China, stating “You seem to be inching toward an anti-American bloc.” The Prime Minister emphatically responds, “God no.” He continues to share, “First of all, there is an irreplaceable ally. It’s called the United States of America.”

Amidst all of the activities within the Middle East and other parts of the world, Israel is continuing to not only thrive, but also to bless the nations of the world with the many different technologies and inventions that are birthed in Israel. Stahl points out, “Countries that used to vote against you regularly at the U.N., are now your clients.” This is such a differing reality than what has reportedly been taking place in the United Nations. According to the Jerusalem Institute of Justice, there has been an Islamic-Communist Voting Bloc in the United Nations that has continually targeted the State of Israel. With such a vastly differing reality taking place within the United Nations, we can see that a powerful shift is taking place.

Continue to pray for the peace of Israel and for the hand of the Lord to be upon Israel during these times. Be not only educated about the events involving Israel, but also greatly encouraged as you see how Israel is blessing so many others, and so much more. In America, we often forget just how blessed we are. Our poorest person is richer than 70% of the world’s population. Dugit Messianic Outreach Reaching Jews for Jesus in Tel Aviv

LISTEN NOW! If you have not yet visited Israel, it is a beautiful place to visit and see. Some may not be aware, but Tel-Aviv is a city of considerable size. Reportedly, Tel Aviv has the third-largest economy of any city in the Middle East… and has the 31st highest cost of living in the world.” Over 1 million people travel there to visit annually. In the midst of the bustling city, Avi Mizrachi, with Dugit Ministries is sharing the love of Jesus Christ, one cup of coffee at a time.

Initially started as a small Bible study with a handful of people, has now grown to the fellowship gathering that we now see today. “It is a Hebrew speaking, local congregation…”, Mizrachi shares. “It is wonderful to see that Jewish people are responding to the Good News.” Not only is the Gospel being shared, but homeless and needy are having their needs met. Thus the Agape Distribution Center was born. “Today, we feed about between 80-100 families every month.”

As the Gospel is being shared, and the needy are being cared for, the city of Tel-Aviv is also being carried through their many prayers and worship. After a trip to Korea, speaking about Israel, Mizrachi shares how the Lord began to burden his heart,”The Lord has really put in my heart that I need to go and look for a place and build him an altar…of prayer and worship, for breakthrough in this city of Tel-Aviv Jaffa.” The prayer tower was then born, which houses a prayer room on the top 12^th floor that looks out over all of Tel-Aviv.

This is such an encouraging and powerful work to be a part of, and also to support. Many may ask how to pray. Mizrachi shares the critical times that we are facing and how to pray for what God is doing in Tel-Aviv. “I believe this is the harvest time. Terror Attack in Tel Aviv, Israel Leaves 4 Dead, 16 Wounded and Hamas Pledging More Attacks to Come during Ramadan, Where is the International Out Cry?

Many are grieving as terror has once again targeted Israel. This time, it was inside the Max Brenner Restaurant in the Sarona Market of Tel Aviv. Two men, reportedly cousins, were dressed as Orthodox Jews as they began to shoot innocent bystanders calmly enjoying their meals. In the end, 4 are dead and 16 are wounded. According to CBS News, “It’s one of the deadliest attacks in an 8 month wave of violence where Palestinians have targeted Israelis.” Just returning from his trip to Russia, Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu was on scene of the attack and he commented on this brutal violence. “This is a savage crime, murder, and terrorism in the heart of Tel-Aviv.”

Founder of Dugit Ministries, located in Tel Aviv Israel, Avi Mizrachi shared about the response to the attack. We spoke with Avi this morning and he shared that the night before the attack we had our monthly city wide prayer meeting in the VIP prayer tower. During the meeting, they felt a strong leading to focus on government, military, and police.

On his way home from the meeting, Avi heard about the attack. We count it as a MIRACLE that two terrorist armed with machine guns opened fire in a busy market and were only able to kill 4 and wound 7. We thank God for putting a quick end to this violent act of terror.

• Please continue to lift up the people of Israel, that God would thwart all terrorist attacks and would supernaturally assist all military and police forces.

WATCH! Nadeem Afzal Testimony: How He Converted from Islam to Christianity: Pray for Muslims During Ramadan June 5- July 5^th Many Encounter Jesus in Visions and Dreams

As we enter fully into the month of June, it is important to know how the Muslim world sees these next 30 days. This important knowledge can help us greatly as the Church to pray for those who do not know Christ. From June 6^th until July 5^th is the month of Ramadan. For Muslims, this is the holy month that is served as a time of praying and fasting. What is encouraging to know is what is occurring specifically during this time.

Many Muslims are searching for answers. Considering the rise of Radical Islam being spread through ISIS, it is having contrary effects. As Joel Rosenberg shares with CBN, “From 1960 to 2010, the number of Muslims that have converted to faith in Jesus Christ has grown from fewer than 200,000 to some 10 million people”. Rosenberg continues, “If that’s Islam, if that is real Islam, I’m out. I’m not comfortable with that; and they are beginning to search.”

As these Muslims are beginning to search for answers, that they are not finding in their religion of Islam, they are being approached with the Gospel. Rosenberg shares how the Gospel is penetrating areas that the governments cannot stop. “Satellite television, the internet, radio, and other believers that they’re just meeting on the ground, as well as dreams and visions of Christ. God is using many ways to get the Gospel message to Islam over the heads of the clerics and the governments right at the moment when Muslims are going through this tremendous upheaval and soul searching.” These are encouraging times for the Church as the Gospel is spreading.

Considering that there are anywhere between 1.3 – 1.8 billion Muslims throughout the world, these 10 million that are coming to Christ are well deserved celebrations. But, Rosenberg shares this insightful perspective. “Maybe we’ve neglected, as the Church broadly speaking, the American Church in particular, maybe we’ve neglected bringing them the Good News…that one doesn’t have to kill oneself but that there is one who has already died for us.”

Now is such an important time to pray for those in the Muslim world. During this time of Ramadan, as Muslims are seeking an encounter with God, that they would in fact encounter Him, Jesus Christ. Naeem Fazal was one such Muslim who had an encounter with Jesus Christ that ultimately changed his life forever.

Fazal was raised Sunni, but, in his own words, “we weren’t radical, or extremists by any means, but we were definitely conservative.” Growing up diligently studying the Koran was a way of life as a child. But, when his brother took a trip to study in America, his brother had some news to share with the family. “That’s when he actually told us that he was a Christian. I remember that day because I threatened to kill him.” He was determined to talk to his brother and later traveled to America.

It was on this trip, visiting his brother, that they went to see a Christian movie. For the first time, Fazal was confronted and began to question his faith. The conversations between the two continued. His brother told him that Jesus loved him and wanted a relationship with him. “I remember making fun of him and saying, ‘will he just come down if I just ask him?’ and my brother said yes. If you would ask him, He’ll come down.” He thought it was a crazy idea. It was that night, that a sudden darkness walked into his room. He knew it to be a demon of some sort. He ran to his brother’s room and what he was told changed his life forever. The only one who has authority over demons is Jesus Christ. Fazal had to make a choice of his own.

So many people have an intellectual conversation, but an encounter with Jesus Christ will always be better. An encounter with God is always greater than an argument about God. The greatest story that we can tell others, who do not know Christ, is the story of what God did in our own lives, our testimony. Take the time for the next 30 days to pray for Muslims around the world, that they would have an encounter with Jesus just like Fazal did. Pray that the Gospel of Jesus Christ would spread!

Israeli Spies Save 5 Year Old Syrian Girl’s Life in a Dangerous Mission

Throughout the world, so many are quick to speak out against Israel, to promulgate lies against Israel, and to stand with such egregious movements like the Boycott, Divestment, and Sanction against Israel. But, to actually see Israel and the Jewish people first hand, it dispels the lies that are so easily spread about Israel. In light of the recent conflicts between Israel and their neighbors, Israel is repeatedly portrayed as the bad guy according to media sources. The most recent events happening within the Israeli Defense Forces shines a beacon of light as to what exactly Israel is doing.

Israel Daily shares the profound story of a 5-year old Syrian refugee girl that was injured after being caught in the middle of cross fires. After being treated in a Haifi hospital, her doctors learned that she had cancer. In the process of looking for a bone marrow donor, a relative of the young girl was needed to supply the bone marrow. What was Israel to do? Israeli Security Forces embarked on a special mission to retrieve the family and bring them back to Israel, in order to save the little girl’s life.

In light of these developments, it’s understandable why so many Americans love Israel. A collection of artists took time to immerse themselves in the culture of Israel, by traveling to Israel in order to experience just how rich and life-changing the culture and people of Israel are. Author Annie Downs shares a profound statement when she expressed, “While being Pro-Israel, doesn’t mean being anti-anybody else. You can be Pro-Israel and Pro-Human.” Other artists as Brady Toops, Moriah Peters, Lauren “Fleurie” Strahm, and others share about their own personal experiences in the holy land.
