Revival of Compassion on the Mexico Texas Border; Illegal Immigrant Children Being Embraced by Christians with Open Heart of Compassion, Love, Food, Clothing, Soccer Balls and Teddy Bears!

They continue to discuss how a delegation that included Texas Congressman Louie Gohmert, Texas Senator Ted Cruz, Dr. Alveda King, Allen Barton , Glenn Beck and a host of pastors that minister in churches along the border, gathered to act with mercy and compassion in regards to the thousands of children that have crossed the border. Mercury One reports that they have received nearly 2 million dollars in donations for humanitarian efforts which is resulting in the children receiving a change of clothes, shoes, toys, and food. This is a crisis in which the church is equipped to move in love and compassion. One pastor remarked that Glenn was the catalyst but now a revival of compassion has broken out among the church where hundreds of volunteers are showing up making themselves available to help in any way. The Bible tells us in in Proverbs 19:17 that he who lends to the poor lends to the Lord. It was said that when you can turn your back on a child your heart is like a stone. A wake up call is needed. It’s time to do what the Prophet Isaiah tells us is a true fast in Isaiah 58:7 “Is it not to share your food with the hungry and to provide the poor wanderer with shelter—when you see the naked, to clothe them, and not to turn away from your own flesh and blood?” This is the key for a third great awakening. PROPHECY – It’s Going to be a Physical Battle, Not Just Spiritual

LISTEN NOW! As Greg and Pat discuss how it’s going to be a physical battle too not just a spiritual battle so be prepared. They continue to discuss how VFNRadio and VFNtv is a NOW WORD! They discuss a prophetic word given to Greg regarding what is to come. When God speaks we must evaluate our response to what He is saying. He will continue to speak almost like the rhythmic pattern of labor pains when birthing a child. As time for delivery approaches the pains become sharper and more frequently less we repent. God wants us to turn back to Him. When one goes before the judge he understands the judge will put things back in order. Greg shares how he was shown a military air training where Americans and Saudi’s were trained. In this prophetic experience he was attending a diverse unity gathering of Christian ministers in Escambia County (Pensacola, FL) and the Lord’s presence was upon the meeting as it was filled with brother love and compassion for the ministers towards each other. Suddenly a military base on the gulf coast came under attack. He continued to look south toward the Naval Air Station in Pensacola when he saw a huge explosion and right after there was another explosion. He got into his truck at first to respond but then turned to warn everyone that this is not just going to be spiritual but it’s going to be physical. He continues to share how people don’t like us. We need to prepare and not with “cheerios” but to prepare for people who intentionally want to harm you. Our Naval power will be under attack as they share how Brett saw the military chased by red air craft. At this time Christians were under attack all the while people were looking in the air. They continue to discuss the dream Brett had when he saw two air plane pilots from the United Emirates. Planes were being shot down and Brett warned the people. He even saw where they had to put bayonets on indicating a battle on the land. God told Brett to get this out to Greg and Pat so they can get the word out over the air. Some will be tempted to discredit this reality from happening but a wise person prepares. They further discuss a dream Greg had where it was revealed to him that a war is very specific and that logistics take a while however God showed him that terrorist attacks take 60 years to accomplish. So what does God mean? It will be 60 years in 2014 which just happens to be the year of the first of the four blood moons that NASA is predicting. God told Greg to look back at what happened in America 60 years ago which is 1954.

In 1954 the nation tuned into the McCarthy hearings and they were successful at polarizing him as the public face but he was trying to warn the people how communism had infiltrated our government. He warned about how communist subversion was coming to our country. They broadcasted the hearing for 35 days but no one was listening to him. It is very similar to what Congresswoman Michelle Bachmann and Senator Ted Cruz has been warning us regarding the infiltration and penetration of the Muslim Brotherhood in our nation even in the White House. It looks like McCarthy was right. They continue to remind us of what Brother Kilpatrick said when he said stand with God. Don’t be scared. The question is what does a physical battle look like? They further discuss three of four dreams given to an 11 year old boy. The first dream involved the North Korean dictator and Christian persecuted Kim Jong- il coming to the White House and in the dream the young boy understood that he killed everybody. In the same dream the 11 year old boy was taken to a safe room where President Obama was and the President begged the 11 year old boy to help him escape through the window and he did. He also saw in another dream where everything was destroyed, massive deaths, and many who were dead. In another dream he saw where the city went from high tech to nothing. He saw people setting up all kinds of stands to barter and he even saw people stealing everything including gasoline as well as people themselves were being mugged. They continue to discuss what is was like to go through five hurricanes in one year. We can’t rely on FEMA to come in and do everything. Even the police officers have families too. Imagine this happening to a nation where most people are not prepared. Many today are living pay check to pay check and will be surprised as to how quickly super market shelves will go empty. They encourage us to prepare in context for crazy things to happen and to protect your home, family, and the elderly. They discuss there is going to be physical calamities and law enforcement will be overwhelmed and will need you to help. They continue to share how this is all part of a strategy to overwhelm the system causing it to have to reboot but when it does it will not be good. They remind us that if we turn to God we will win. 7 Monumental Victories for Americans in 1 ½ years, Senator Ted Cruz

We join Senator Ted Cruz at the Faith and Freedom Coalition as he shares about the victories that have happened in less than two years. It is so exciting to go over this good news and remember the good things that God has done and is doing. The first monumental victory Senator Cruz shares are about Judges. “Principle Constitutionalist Judges defending our rights.” He discusses the court case about the baker that declined to make a wedding cake for a same sex couple. “He viewed it as contrary to his faith. Now if we lived in the sort of society that those who call themselves liberals describe a tolerant society, that would have been the end of story. He would have lived according to his faith, and we would have respected that faith and the diversity amongst us. But there are those with a legal agenda that wanted to drive that baker out of business. To punish him and any other person’s faith for daring to live according to their faith.” Religious faith cannot be discriminated against. Recently we have seen people who are for President Donald Trump being thrown out of restaurants.

The next victory Senator Cruz talks about is about abortion. We have prayed relentlessly for years concerning abortion and asking God to end abortion. “We have seen in the last year and a half significant victories preserving innocent life. The very beginning of the Trump administration we have seen a return of the Mexico City which means that our foreign aid will no longer be used to fund abortions overseas.” He talks about how the Obama administration tried to force Christian organizations to pay for abortion-inducing drugs. Which included nuns, “If you are litigating against nuns, you have probably done something wrong.” People are so excited across the world how America is moving.

The third victory Senator Cruz reviews is the “incredible tax cut we saw in December…doubling the standard deduction…not only that we saw marginal tax rates reduced at every bracket…and integral part was doubling the child tax credit… That is real money in the pockets of hard-working families.” Everybody can celebrate with these tax cuts!

The next victory is about the repeal of the Obamacare individual mandate! This is a huge deal. Senator Cruz said he led this repeal. “A handful of us began making the case…that this made sense…that it made sense for the 6.5 million people, here’s how the Obamacare individual mandate works. Every year the IRS fines 6.5 million Americans because they can’t afford health insurance.” Because of this repeal, the tax cuts were able to be done for the child tax credit, and the standard deduction was able to be changed. Also, in our counties, there is usually care for individuals in America so no one can be turned away for care!

Senator Cruz continues to share with the fifth victory, school choice. “An amendment that I introduced on the tax bill…It took college 529 savings plans, very, very popular tax advantage plans that you can save for your kids or grandkids to go to college. And it expanded them to cover K-12 education. To cover public school, private school, religious school, parochial school. Your choice up to $10000.00 per child per year.” So many amazing things have happened in these first 500 days of the Trump administration.

The sixth victory is America opening our embassy in Jerusalem! “Presidents in both parties had promised to move our embassy to Jerusalem. Presidents in both parties had broken that promise. We had a year and a half battle in the Trump administration, I energetically argued for moving the embassy, and President Trump made the right decision, and now our embassy is in Jerusalem the once and eternal capital of Israel.” This was the key to releasing the wealth transfer in America!

The seventh victory is America being removed from the Iran Nuclear Deal. “President Obama had sent tens of billions of dollars to the world’s leading states sponsor of terrorism. The Ayatollah Khomeini, who chants ‘death to America and death to Israel’…that deal would have led to the Ayatollah having nuclear weapons.” This is so important to remember these seven awesome victories that have happened in the first 500 days of the Trump administration! Senator Ted Cruz, Border Patrol Says Illegal Border Crossing on the U.S. Southern Border down 50%

As President Trump continues his beginning days in office, the topic of America’s Southern Border continues to be a high topic of priority, for the Trump Administration, as well as all of the leadership in America. As many leaders have spoken about their response to the issue, Senator Cruz also commented about his personal actions and observations of the wall when he recently spoke at the CPAC Conference.

When speaking with Mark Levin, he highlighted how he had traveled along the border with the border patrol, on gun boats and in the air. He was told an interesting piece of information from the border patrol. “You know what the border patrol told me in the Rio Grande sector; that since the Inauguration Day, illegal crossings have dropped 50%.” He continued, “Now oddly enough, you and I have not seen that on the 6 o’clock news. Somehow reporters aren’t reporting it.” As Senator Cruz continued to dialogue with the border patrol, he was told this; “They assumed it was because of this new administration they understood that we’d had an administration that would finally, finally, finally enforce the laws.”

Immigration, those coming into America to become citizens of America is a good thing. Illegal immigration is not. America is a nation of immigrants. When we look at Ellis Island and the many immigrants that came to America through the shores of New York, we can see that there is a process to becoming a citizen. It was a beautiful thing, and it is again, a beautiful thing to see the laws of our nation once again being enforced. Senator Ted Cruz, Border Patrol Says Illegal Border Crossing on the U.S. Southern Border down 50%

As President Trump continues his beginning days in office, the topic of America’s Southern Border continues to be a high topic of priority, for the Trump Administration, as well as all of the leadership in America. As many leaders have spoken about their response to the issue, Senator Cruz also commented about his personal actions and observations of the wall when he recently spoke at the CPAC Conference.

IOT; Internet of Things is the Greatest Concern for Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu

The Internet is one thing, but the Internet of Things is another. It’s so much of a thing, that its being addressed by leaders of cybersecurity, as well as a point of discussion between President Trump and Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.

CBN News is reporting how leaders are commenting about the Internet of Things, such as Dr. Eviatar Matania, Director General reasons, “One is our need and notion of security and cybersecurity is part of security in general. The second one is our hi-tech industry and the third one is ‘our security forces.” Dr. Matania highlights how “cyberspace doesn’t have borders”. When Rudy Guliani, an advisor to President Trump on Cyber Security, was asked about these dangers, he responded, “I don’t think it’s a fully declared war, complete ongoing war, but we have a lot of cyberattacks for different reasons. And of course we have a great concern in the United States with cyberattacks from terrorists, not just from nations.”

Israel’s Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu is also sounding the trumpet of concern and caution towards the technology of the “Internet of Things”. “The Internet of Things (IOT)can be hijacked by nefarious actors for dangerous purposes with dangerous results”. He continues, “Again, what you see today is going to get a lot worse in the future if we don’t band together.” It’s one thing to be on the observant side of these types of technologies. But how bad can it get. CEO of Cyber Rider, Erez Kreiner, peers into the possible dangers of what could go wrong if someone were to hack into the Internet of Things for evil purposes.

“Now think that you’re driving your car and suddenly from your media system you hear, ‘alright, this is John the terrible guy. I hacked your car and if you don’t transfer now that kind of money to my account, just look what I can do.’ And then he accelerates the car and then he stops the car, turns the wheel to the right, to the left, turns the wheel to the right, you understand?”

Technology is advancing so rapidly. Technological devices are no longer limited to our phones, or our computer, but now refrigerators, and even our cars can be added to the mix. We are transitioning from the internet of people to the internet of things. Technology in itself is not bad, it is simply how we use technology. When the radio was invented, people thought it was the end of privacy. Again, when the television was introduced, people were against it as well. Now, once again, as further technology is being developed, there is increasing caution. But, remember too that technology is allowing the Gospel to advance further than ever thought possible. Allow your understanding of how the internet is not only impacting your computer, but also everyday objects, being use to advance the Kingdom, and so much more. Franklin Graham Urgent Call to Prayer for Persecuted Christians from Egypt

Acts of evil and persecution are continuing to take place throughout the world. Christians in the Middle East, the Coptic Christians are some of the oldest lineage of Christians in the present world. It is these Christians that are experiencing some of the most severe forms of persecution for their faith. With these acts of persecution taking place, Franklin Graham is urging the Global Church to lift up the Coptic Christians.

According to charismanews.com, Graham describes how some of these Christians are experiencing persecution at the hands of ISIS. “The Islamic State stormed into the home of a plumber and shot him to death in front of his wife and children on Thursday. A few days ago, a teacher was shot to death by masked gunmen. One man was beheaded and another set on fire. All in the name of Islam.” If these atrocities were not horrible enough, Graham also addressed how ISIS is planning on increasing the attacks. “In a video earlier this week, the Islamic State vowed to step up attacks against the Coptic Christian minority, describing them as infidels. Hundreds have fled their homes for safety. One Coptic resident said, ‘I’m not going to wait for death.’ ISIS wants to exterminate them—wipe them out—because they bear the name of Christ”.

These realities are proof positive of how the strategies of darkness are carried out. One would think that with a new leadership in place, that acknowledges the Church, supports Israel and defends Israel, things would be going good. But this is not the case. The devil will never be satisfied when Israel and the Church is supported and defended. We must remain steadfast in our faith in Jesus Christ, regardless who would be against us or how we are persecuted. Be encouraged in your faith, as well as your prayers as you hear about how the Church is enduring in times of persecution, how Mariam Ibraheem overcame the odds of persecution, and so much more. President Trump’s Weekly Address: Time for the Church to be Activated-

It appears the very things that used to have value, no longer have value. When someone gets a recognition or an award for their achievements, the moment of thanks is now being used to slander and criticize government with no apology afterwards. When we get a new President in office, the leadership barely has time to breathe before the judgments come. Truth of the matter is this: “The seat of evil is coming down and the seat of righteousness is rising”. This is exactly what the Lord has shown and told us would happen.

As President Trump is walking out his starting days in office, he has continually spoken out in support and defense of the Constitution, of The Church, as well as Israel. These are important topics to recognize. As we have continually lifted up President Obama when he held the Office of Presidency, we continue to lift up the Office as now President Trump takes over leadership. President Trump continues to keep the American people abreast of his events and actions with his weekly addresses.

The President pointed out the rich African American history in our land. “We are blessed by the lives and examples of those who have made this nation of beacon of freedom, talent, and unbreakable American spirit.” He also talks about his recent visit to the National Museum of African American History and Culture located at The Mall in Washington, D.C. “It also tells of the great struggle for freedom and equality that prevailed against the sins of slavery and the injustice of discrimination.”

The President expressed his steadfast resolve to work as hard as possible in order to make opportunities available for every American.

“Today and every day I pledge to continue that march so that every American no matter his background, no matter her background has the chance to climb that great ladder of success…I want every disadvantaged child in America to have a choice on where they go to school. So Important. I also want to honor and promote the achievements of historically black colleges and universities throughout our nation… In order to help African Americans thrive, we’re working very to make sure that every child can grow up in a safe community and have access to high paying jobs.

It hasn’t even been 40 days yet since President Trump raised his right hand and repeated the words of the Oath of Office. It is reportedly being shared that President Trump will be the first President who is being given a hard time for fulfilling his promises. Why would we watch a source of media that focuses on the events that we know are going to raise our blood pressure only to see the very commercials for the medicine for the ailments that we have just from watching the news? We don’t need more information. We need God.

When recently speaking with Rick Joyner, Lance Wallnau addresses how the Church needs to mobilize and organize in this hour and become an “echo chamber” for President Trump. As Charisma News is reporting, Wallnau addresses how the Church is presently not responding the way it needs to. “I’m jumping out of my skin because I’m hearing people say stuff that on one hand, it’s anointed, but on the other hand, I hear the datedness of how we think because we all go back to the old paradigm.” When addressing the chaotic events of Hurricane Katrina, Wallnau highlights how the Church didn’t have a plan to respond to the many needs that presented themselves. “The Body of Christ in America has got to become as muscular and coherent in modeling answers to problems as the progressive left is.”

With this in mind, Wallnau expresses the importance that we, individually, must know where God has called us to make an impact for the Kingdom of God. “Individuals should be oracles in their sphere, they should know what giant they’re after…like a good military thing. If you’re moving in all directions, you’re not moving anywhere. Everyone here should know what sphere they’re called to go into, and how to articulate in a powerful and compelling way the truth that displaces the lie.”

God has called us to advance His Kingdom and to walk out His Kingdom. God has given us wisdom through His Word to do this. He has also given us the resource of VFN Kingdom Business to empower and mobilize others in order to effectively impact their sphere for the Kingdom of God. Now is the time for the Church to mobilize and respond. God is into you. LISTEN NOW! [Part 2 of 2] Most people have not been alive long enough to remember the last time an American president visited the nation of Cuba. According to CBSN, President Calvin Coolidge was the last President to do so 88 years ago. Now, a different tune is being played as President Barack Obama has once again reopened communications with the nearby neighbor to the United States, being only 90 miles south of Florida. The question is though, why?

It is during this surprising move that President Obama is repeatedly talking about issues needing to be sent to the United Nations. But, when one takes a closer look at the nations that make up the United Nations, and what the results are regarding issue after issue about Israel, a clearer picture can be seen. With a brief explanation, we can see how as far back as 1975, Cuba led the way in forming an unstoppable voting bloc made up of a handful of Communist nations joined together with a handful of Muslim nations, all within the United Nations. With each and every resolution passed, this gathering of nations could discredit both America and Israel. We can begin to see a clearer picture as to why President Obama continues to push for matters to be discussed within the United Nations. It matters how we treat Israel. It matters what we do towards Israel and it matters what we don’t do towards Israel. If we force matters to be discussed between a body of nations that are against Israel, is it a fair process for Israel?

As the President nears the end of his term, one would think that he would simply look to having a smooth transition out of office, and out of the matters regarding Israel and America. But, why is there a continual push regarding the perspective of Israel? Additionally, why is the President also pushing for the control of the internet to now be controlled by an international body? The internet was initially created in America for everyone. Now there is a push for the internet to be overseen as a utility; just as our water, or our power is controlled as a utility. What we must recognize is that the full freedoms found in the 1^st Amendment description of the Freedom of Speech can be fully viewed on the internet.

Senator Ted Cruz does an outstanding job of what the loss of the control of the internet actually implies. As the Senator eloquently puts it,

“You know the First Amendment is not about popular speech, the First Amendment is about unpopular speech. The First Amendment is about offensive speech. That’s what it was created for. But, you don’t need a First Amendment if nobody is offended at what you’re saying. It is only when someone says ‘I’m offended and would silence you’, that’s the only time the First Amendment matters, when they’re those seeking to use government powered muzzle opinions that frighten them, opinions that threaten their power.”

While at the same time, President Obama has his own comments regarding the freedoms of America. While speaking before the United Nations in September, he said these words, “I am convinced that in the long run, giving up some freedom of action…binding ourselves to international rules, over the long term, enhances our security.” Simply put, we cannot allow the internet to be under foreign control. We must fight for the freedoms that God has afforded us.

Presently, there is so much entertainment and virtual reality, some do not even know when reality is actually happening; they simply compare it to a movie recently seen or a character that they “watch”. All of this is actually happening. This is reality. It is vital that we recognize these things and what is taking place. Nations throughout the Middle East want nothing more than to see the eradication of Israel and the destruction of America. Senator Cruz Hearing on President Obama’s Willful Blindness to Radical Islam

LISTEN NOW! America has repeatedly witnessed our President acknowledging everything but the existence of Radical Islam. You’re not crazy to wonder why. Senator Ted Cruzrecently chaired a hearing on the Obama Administration’s Willful Blindness to Radical Islamic Terrorism. When Radical Islam has struck our nation, The Obama Administration has chosen to use the terms, “workplace violence”.

Senator Cruz shares that in 2011, “The group ‘Muslim Advocates’ sent a letter to the Obama Administration claiming the Federal Government had somehow become infected with ‘false and highly offensive training materials about Muslims and Islam’ and demanding that ‘such bigoted’ and ‘distorted materials’ be purged; and also advocating for inter-agency task force to address this problem.” Responding to this alerting truth, Senator Cruz asks this applicable question; “After all, should it really be the top concern of counter-terrorism whether their efforts ‘offend’ anyone, rather than if they work and keep Americans safe?”

Senator Cruz held nothing back as he shared statistic after statistic of the devastating consequences of what has transpired due the lack of acknowledging Radical Islam under the present administration. He then continued to share how the current administration has responded to the existence of specific terms in their governmental records. “This year alone, the Obama administration has twice purged mentions of ‘ISIS’ and ‘Islamic terrorism’ from highly significant public records—one involving French President Hollande’s remarks about the Paris terror attacks and the other involving the terrorist’s 911 call during the horrific Orlando attack. The Administration was forced to abruptly reverse course when the public outcry became too great.”

Surprisingly enough, the first international speech our current President made was at Cairo University where he declared, “I consider it part of my responsibility as President of the United States to fight against negative stereotypes of Islam wherever they appear.” It looks as though our leadership thinks it’s better to partner with Islam than to partner with Israel. When we look at the effect in America, we have to take into consideration Saul Alinksy’s book Rules for Radicals, and the tactic of picking a target, freezing it, personalizing it, and polarizing it. America has never been more divided than it is right now. Both President Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton were recruited and trained by Saul Alinksy. We must pray for our leaders. Franklin Graham’s Ministry Ministers to Wounded Veterans and their Spouses

As war has been experienced for many service members in the war on terrorism, they are coming home finding out that there are still wars to be fought. They invested in our life, we’re going to invest in theirs.”

STANDING WITH ISRAEL: AIPAC- American Israel Public Affairs Committee as well as FDIF- Friends of Isreali Defense Forces Making Huge Contribution to ISRAEL’S Security and Survival

LISTEN NOW! In today’s culture, there are plenty of voices who have something negative and biased to share regarding Israel. One of the voices that has been a steady voice of support and truth for Israel is AIPAC; The American Israel Public Affairs Community. The mission of AICAP is, “to strengthen, protect and promote the U.S.-Israel relationship in ways that enhance the security of the United States and Israel.”

According to their website, they are “focused exclusively on strengthening the U.S. – Israel relationship.” While having a significant impact on elected leaders in America’s government, this is not a partisan effort, nor do they do this by endorsing any one particular candidate. “Because Israel’s security is too important to risk only working with one party or the other we work with both parties to ensure Democrats and Republicans come together to keep Israel safe.”

Senator Ted Cruz was one of the speakers at this year’s AIPAC Annual Conference. He was very bold in his words against terrorism as well as Hillary Clinton’s choice of words regarding Hamas’s placement of rockets in public areas was because “Gaza is pretty small and is densely populated…” “Madam Secretary, the reason the missiles are in schools is not because Gaza is small. The reason the missiles are in schools are because Hamas are terrorist monsters using children as human shields.” He also shared his public query to the Obama Administration’s choice to stop flights to Israel’s Ben Gurion Airport asking if this was an economic boycott against Israel? With the help of New York’s Mayor Bloomberg boarding a flight from London to Ben Gurion Airport demonstrating the safety of Israel, flights were no longer banned to Israel.

AIPAC isn’t the only organization making huge strides and significant impacts to the nation of Israel. FIDF, Friends of the Israeli Defense Forces, is also affecting the security of the State of Israel by supporting and helping those individuals that make up the IDF. FIDF has many different operations that assist soldiers; by investing in education, helping with transition costs, and assisting soldiers to see their families.

One of FIDF’s impressive impacts, is their Lone Soldier program. They help those that are deciding to leave their homeland, regardless of where it is in the world, to move to Israel for the sole purpose of defending Israel. One of these Lone Soldiers is Zeev, whose roots are from Texas. From his childhood he proudly expressed his support for Israel. “I was 14 when I decided I wanted to move to Israel and join the IDF.” He not only shares about his journey into the IDF, but what took place while his team was positioned on the border of Gaza.

The FIDF recently celebrated their 2016 Gala event in New York City to express their thanks and support of the soldiers. Prime Minster of Israel, Benjamin Netanyahu shares, “Day and night, 24-7, 365 days a year, the young men and women of the IDF are protecting our freedom. They give the best years of their lives to keep Israel safe and they deserve our utmost respect.” So many wonder how to support Israel, or what they can do to share their allegiance to Israel. These are two of the many organizations that are making significant contributions to the nation of Israel and its citizens. The Question is Not WHO should You Vote for it’s About How to Vote: Vote Biblical Values

With the many debates that have come and the upcoming votes to be had this year, it is vital that we understand the importance of our ability to vote. Government is God’s idea. It is not above God but in fact it is instituted by God. Currently, more people are worried about what the government will do to the people than the government being worried about what the people will do. Every citizen matters in America.

When considering the importance of the Church being involved in the process of voting, Pastor Tony Evans shares timely wisdom that we can apply.

“It is the departure from God that has gotten us in the political, social, economic, and familial chaos that we’re experiencing today…The Bible is full of politics. The idea is simply that you vote for the party or the candidate that best reflects the values of the Kingdom of God…Government belongs to God. When God is excluded, government is in trouble.”

How different would America be if these values and principles were not only understood, but taught, and carried out during each election period, both at the federal level AND at the state level? As The Church, we have an obligation. According to Breitbart News, Ted Cruz has reportedly shared that “there are 90 million evangelicals in America, and 54 million of them did not vote.” If we truly understood the impact and freedoms of our ability to vote and decide who our next President would be, this statement would not be made.

The first step that we can do to get involved is to simply get registered to vote. Take the time out today and begin to educate yourself of those who are asking for your vote. We must then begin to know how to vote, what is God’s heart and what does He share about the values and principles that are taking place in America today. Jesus already came and has died for the sins of mankind. We are not looking for another savior. What we are looking for, is which candidate best represents the values and principles of the Bible?

In the increasing tides of darkness in today’s world, it seems that choosing to love is becoming harder and harder to do. How are we, as the Church, supposed to walk out love in this present paradigm? By looking at the powerful life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. we get an accurate perspective of what a life, modeled after the Biblical values and principles of Jesus Christ looks like. You’ll hear a first-hand story, recounted from Dr. King’s sister-in-law, Naomi King, of how Dr. King lived a life of love as well as how he led the non-violent, Civil Rights Movement, that was grounded in love, and so much more. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Known by his LOVE

There is much coming against The Church right now. But, this does not contradict our command to love others, and to love our enemies. In John 17:23b, Jesus said, “Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.” We are known by our love. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was a wonderful demonstration of a life lived out in love through the most vehement and evil hatred.

Dr. King experienced some of the most religious hatred during his days fighting for civil rights. One particular image captures him and his son standing on the front lawn of their home, while reaching down to remove a burnt cross staked in the grass. His love did not waiver. He also faced opposition from law enforcement as he was attempted to be choked with his own tie.

His sister-in-law, Naomi, recounts the event when Dr. King came home after leaving the police station. She shares, remembering the exchange with Dr. King, “I was detained at the police station, and you know what ‘Nene’, they tried to choke me to death with my own tie.”Responding with tears, Naomi was speechless. She continues to share how Dr. King resolved to ultimately respond, “But, you know what, the more that they mistreat us, and the more that they abuse us, that’s the more that we’ve got to love them and forgive them because hatred is very much alive and we’ve got to love them”

When Dr. King walked the streets, he first made all of those who walked with him sign a commitment card, comprised of 10 commitments that revealed an understanding of what this movement was all about. Just a look at what comprised these commitments reveals so much of what this man was all about, and where his personal values came from.

I hereby pledge myself—my person and body—to the nonviolent movement. Therefore, I will keep the following ten commandments:

1. Meditate daily on the teachings and life of Jesus.

2. Remember always that the non—violent movement seeks justice and reconciliation — not victory.

3. Walk and talk in the manner of love, for God is love.

4. Pray daily to be used by God in order that all men might be free.

5. Sacrifice personal wishes in order that all men might be free.

6. Observe with both friend and foe the ordinary rules of courtesy.

7. Seek to perform regular service for others and for the world.

8. Refrain from the violence of fist, tongue, or heart.

9. Strive to be in good spiritual and bodily health.

10. Follow the directions of the movement and of the captain on a demonstration.

According to a recent CBN report, polls reflect Ben Carson being the new front runner, edging past Donald Trump; while Senator Ted Cruz, and former Florida Governor Jeb Bush voicing personal accolades and strategies that highlight their strengths. As the Church, it is vital for us to recognize the liberties and freedoms that we have in America to be able to elect and choose our government. Take these opportunities to prayerfully consider the hour we are in, and the leader that God would want for our nation. Greg shared in this segment.
