Isaiah Chapter 8

“The Lord said to me, “Take a large scroll and write on it with an ordinary pen: Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. And I will call in Uriah the priest and Zechariah son of Jeberekiah as reliable witnesses for me.”

Then I went to the prophetess, and she conceived and gave birth to a son. And the Lord said to me, “Name him Maher-Shalal-Hash-Baz. Before the boy knows how to say ‘My father’ or ‘My mother,’ the wealth of Damascus and the plunder of Samaria will be carried off by the king of Assyria.”

The Lord spoke to me again:

“Because this people has rejected
the gently flowing waters of Shiloah and rejoices over Rezin
and the son of Remaliah, therefore the Lord is about to bring against them the mighty floodwaters of the River the king of Assyria with all his pomp.It will overflow all its channels, run over all its banksand sweep on into Judah, swirling over it, passing through it and reaching up to the neck.Its outspread wings will cover the breadth of your land, O Immanuel!”

Raise the war cry, you nations, and be shattered!
    Listen, all you distant lands. Prepare for battle, and be shattered!
    Prepare for battle, and be shattered! Devise your strategy, but it will be thwarted;
    propose your plan, but it will not stand, for God is with us.

The Lord spoke to me with his strong hand upon me, warning me not to follow the way of this people. He said:

“Do not call conspiracy everything that these people call conspiracy; do not fear what they fear, and do not dread it.

“The Lord Almighty is the one you are to regard as holy,
    he is the one you are to fear,
    he is the one you are to dread, and he will be a sanctuary;
    but for both houses of Israel he will be a stone that causes men to stumble
    and a rock that makes them fall. And for the people of Jerusalem he will be
    a trap and a snare. Many of them will stumble;
    they will fall and be broken,
    they will be snared and captured.”

“Bind up the testimony
and seal up the law among my disciples. I will wait for the Lord,
who is hiding his face from the house of Jacob. I will put my trust in him.”

Here am I, and the children the Lord has given me. We are signs and symbols in Israel from the Lord Almighty, who dwells on Mount Zion. When men tell you to consult mediums and spiritists, who whisper and mutter, should not a people inquire of their God? Why consult the dead on behalf of the living? To the law and to the testimony! If they do not speak according to this word, they have no light of dawn. Distressed and hungry, they will roam through the land; when they are famished, they will become enraged and, looking upward, will curse their king and their God. Then they will look toward the earth and see only distress and darkness and fearful gloom, and they will be thrust into utter darkness.”

What Does it Truly Mean to Live Under the Grace of God?

How do we truly live under the grace of God? If we are not careful, we can lean on our understanding or our strength instead of God’s. Brian Johnson, of Bethel Church, shares his revelation on living under God’s grace. Brian uses Peter, one of Jesus’ disciples, as an example, “Confident in his ability, instead of acknowledging his weakness, he chose to cling to the illusion of strength; and then a day later, denied Jesus.” We need to consider it a gift when God is our only option, and we need to know, that we know, that we can only do what we are doing by the grace of God. “Men impress other men with our gifts and our successes and our great exploits…the way to impress God, we must step into the realm of limitless faith in God alone.” We can impress God by completely relying on Him! “‘Not by might nor by power, but by my Spirit,’ says the Lord Almighty.” Be encouraged with this word and listen or watch to hear it in full. Prophetic Words have the Power to Change Destiny If they are Spoken Out

When we hear a word spoken over us, it can change our destiny! Pastor John Kilpatrick shares a prophetic word on The Jim Bakker Show. He shares that God can give us a word, and we can think about it but until we speak out the words the Holy Spirit gave us there is no power in the prophetic word. We need to speak out the words God gives us so that the Holy Spirit can move in power through that word! “…but also you can say to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and it will be done.” Pastor Kilpatrick shares that, “One of the reasons why the Devil fights prophesy so bad in this hour, is because when a person gives a prophetic word, it puts lift under their wings…All of a sudden, now, you’re stretching your wings and you’re gliding, you’re not struggling anymore.” We need to open our mouths and speak to each other in the Church! “And let us consider how we may spur one another on toward love and good deeds,not giving up meeting together, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging one another—and all the more as you see the Day approaching.”

It is exciting to move in a prophetic word that God gives us, and it is important to make sure that we have ourselves in a place where the fresh, current word of God is spoken. Prophecy Perry Stone: Riots and Burning in at least 5 Major Cities

The calamities that are taking place in the world are increasing. The voices of warning are continuing to shout aloud that what is happening in the world is soon to come to America. Perry Stone and the late David Wilkerson are just some of these voices. Stone received a prophetic vision regarding America, specifically about riots and burning. “…I was standing in a river, looking at 180 degrees; I counted at least 5 major cities. They were cities in the United States. There had been rioting and fighting inside certain sections of the poor sections among ethnic groups in these cities. They were literally burning the cities down.”Stone not only continues to detail the visualization of this warning, he continues to share from the words of David Wilkerson what events will take place beforehand, “…a Russian attack against the United States that would follow an economic collapse of the economy in the United States.” Wilkerson’s words continue,”Federal and State welfare cutbacks will be sparked that ignites the fuse. There will be 100,000 angry men on the streets in rage because they’ve been cut off from government benefits.”

There is a systematic sequence of events that are taking place meant to organize and divide America. The plan of ISIS has been openly shared of the coming events; first Paris, then London, then America. We don’t have to be surprised when we see these events taking place. God is warning us NOW so that we can REPENT now in order for these events not to take place. The Return of Guy Fawkes? Riots in America? Congressman on Terrorism Taskforce Warning us to Be Prepared for Terrorist Attack on America?

There has been a systematic strategy meant to divide and organize the world. Authority is being attacked and rebelled against on every level and topic available: fathers, government, police, government, etc. The people are being stirred up. As the world witnesses the riots taking place in London, and many parts of the world, a white mask can be seen on many of the rioters and protesters. The mask is of Guy Fawkes; a catholic minister who was against King James. King James was instrumental in bringing about the King James Bible that was written in order for the common man to have the Word of God in his own hands, not just the religious leaders of the day. The message that everyone could have an intimate relationship with God was being made known. Fawkes was against King James bringing together England and Scotland. Fawkes responded by setting up barrels of gunpowder underneath the first governmental meeting under King James’ rule, Parliament. He thought what King James was doing was evil. Luckily, his plans did not come to fruition as planned.

Throughout the world and America continual rebellions against all forms of authority are taking places. Swells of angry mobs are rising up only to recede away; then another one in another state against another authority; a college professor or dean here, then a police department over there, again, and again, and again.

When the terrorist attacks that took place in Paris, French President Francois Hollande immediately shut the borders of France. In essence, martial law was enacted to establish safety for the people. President Obama has made clear that the strategy against ISIS will not change. Why not the same decisive response as Hollande? President Obama is insisting on allowing refugees to come across the borders into America. When asked about these matters, Former New York City Mayor Rudy Giuliani, has this to say. “…This did not have to happen if our policies were different…If we had not taken our troops out of Iraq and Afghanistan, ISIS would of never emerged. ISIS is filling a vacuum by a vacuous foreign policy…ISIS is an Obama creation…” This is the sustained militant effort that has been carried out like a playbook from the pages of Saul Alisnky’s Rules for Radicals. These tactics are being carried out to organize the world; and its working.

North Carolina Congressman and Chairman of the United States Taskforce, Robert Pittenger, is also sounding the calls of warning to America. We need to prepare. He has created a preparedness manual at PrepareNow.com with ways that individuals, families, small businesses can prepare themselves for the warning signs that are taking place. “There is a whole list of things that we think people should consider having. We could be facing some type of attack, we don’t know what that would be, whether it’s a physical kinetic attack, or biological, chemical, or any attack that the terrorists may want to have. These are things that we can do to frankly save lives.”

Proverbs 22:3 says, “The prudent see danger and take refuge, but the simple keep going and pay the penalty.” We can act in wisdom now by heeding these warnings, turn our faces to God in humility and repentance. In these days and times, it is important not to panic. God has made clear what His intentions are during this realities, “DON’T PANIC! This is what God has allowed to happen in order to bring in the harvest.” Many who have had hard hearts and stiff necks will be coming to the Lord. Now is the time to seek God for wisdom and insight. The warnings are continuing to be heard about the catastrophic days ahead. They are only getting closer and closer as each day passes. Erick Stakelbeck resonates with the same warning highlighting how President Obama is putting America in a bad place by entering a Nuclear deal with Iran. The tone is the same according to the Presidential Candidate Jim Gilmore, “…what we’ve warned of is an international guerrilla movement that threatens this country. It’s going to happen in this country. There are going to be further attacks. We have to be prepared to defend the American people, prepare them for a long war…” These are the very days that we have been warning about that will test men’s souls.

Now is the time to prepare for realities such as this. James and Khechara Bradford share from their own experience in a discussion from a man who was a previous government contractor. This man shared how the government is currently building military buildings to stand specifically for 90 days for government officials. These buildings are complete with 90 days of food and water. We are not to look to the government nor expect the government to provide for us. When Rick Wiles was recently on the Jim Bakker show, the warnings continue. Wiles shares from a previous conversation he had with John Price. According to Price, in the Western Hemisphere,”…there is a direct correlation between the percentages of abortions in a society and the amount of Islamic immigration in the country…”. We cannot abort over 50 million innocent lives, refuse God’s design of marriage between a man and woman, and reject the acknowledgement of His Word as truth without there being devastating consequences. As Wiles is dialoguing with Jim Bakker about the critical times that we are experiencing, he answers the question of why this happening, “There is sin in the church.” Wiles continues to express the urgency of the hour we are facing when he shared what the Lord said to him and how it matters today. “‘I will give you a national audience on television just before the judgment strikes America.’ Jim nobody has invited me on television, until you today.”

If it was just one person, then it might not be as urgent, but MANY are confirming, MANY are warning, MANY are speaking to the Church to turn hearts back to the Lord. “America is not listening to the Prophets” Michael Snyder- Is Economic Collapse Really Coming?

When Michael Snyder, was recently invited to the Jim Bakker Show, he shared a timely word for today’s hour. “America today doesn’t want to hear the prophets”. Just as in the history of Israel, when many refused to listen to the voices that God raised up and established; the same is true in America today. According to Michael Snyder, what he is writing about on his website, theeconomiccollapseblog.com, lines up with what the Godly voices of today are saying. Initially, growing up, Synder shares how he didn’t believe in the things that were talked about in the Bible. Yet, in his own words, he shares, “But, as I started to get older, I started to look into the Bible, I was like, well, what I’m seeing in my Church, the mainstream denominational Christianity, doesn’t match up with what I see in the Word of God”. Snyder continues, “As an attorney, I study these things, I do it in a systematic way. And, so not only economic collapse is coming, but a whole bunch of other things are coming.”

It is vital to understand that “God is love” as 1 John 4:8 reminds us. As a culture, we have gotten so far removed from the truths of what love is, that discipline and correction are no longer seen as love. God has good plans in store for us, but we cannot continue on the path that we are heading and think that there are not definitive consequences for our decisions. The dire collapse that many are seeing is only definite if we do not repent.

When World War I began, it was because of the sparking event involving a man named, Archduke Franz Ferdinand. There are so many Ferdinand moments that have the potential of being “sparked”. If one were to look at the voices of mainstream media, it is common place to hear ‘everything is fine, everything is fine…’. When considering these words, Lamentations 2:14 is applicable and urgently timely, “The visions of your prophets were false and worthless; they did not expose your sin to ward off your captivity. The prophecies they gave you were false and misleading.” We must have a clear picture of our personal situations. We must desire truth. There is no better way than to be in constant communication and relationship with Jesus Christ. Be encouraged and empowered in these times to not only see the truth of what is happening, but to know why, and so much more. Billy Graham says Church should Brace for Persecution?

In the recent edition of Decision Magazine, Billy Graham warns the American Church that “persecution is coming.” CBN’s George Thomas and Gary Lane discuss the reality of persecution that the Global Church is experiencing and the unusual levels of low persecution in America. Thomas asks Lane the clear question, “Is it unusual that the U.S. Church has not faced persecution…do you see signs that it could be coming?” “Well certainly”, Lane responds, “I think so. I think that we’re seeing that already.” It was only moments ago when a shooter walked into a school and murdered ten people because of their declaration of being a Christian.

In order for us to face persecution boldly, we must know in whom we believe, Jesus Christ, and we must be in relationship with other believers who are walking in the same boldness for Christ. Now is the time, we must learn what it means to, “be the Church.” Be empowered and greatly encouraged as you are prepared for the days that we are facing today, and so much more. What they Use to Feed their Dogs they are now Eating themselves in Venezuela: Prudent Preparation the Importance of Preparing the Ark- God’s Provision in the Day of Calamity

It is important to recognize the events that are happening throughout the world and how they can impact other areas of the world, even the very cities and neighborhoods that you may call home. Currently, Venezuela is experiencing an economic crisis. Food shortages have caused basic food items to be rare, and businesses are only open for a 2-day work week because of the high cost to stay open for an entire week. According to The Guardian, “Venezuela’s devastating economic crisis is now officially a state of emergency, inflation this year is projected to hit 720%, the government has put the clocks forward by half an hour to save electricity, and has called on women to save power by not using hair dryers.”We can and must learn from what other people are presently experiencing in Venezuela and throughout the world.

Everywhere you turn, there are people around us; some are hurting and some are suffering. It is important that we are mindful and compassionate to their realities. If tragedy were to occur, would we be aware of the elderly in our communities; would we be aware of those who cannot fend for themselves? This includes those in other countries as well. One man related a story of how vastly his life has changed since the economic collapse. He told The Guardian that, “when things were good,” he would often go to the butcher to purchase steaks for himself, then would also buy liver for his dog. Now the man says that liver is what he eats, and that he eats it when he can get it. The things we take for granted every day are the same things that the people of Venezuela have not seen or tasted in a very long time.

Many times, the word has been shared that “it will be the best of times and the worst of times”. Yes, we are believing for a Third Great Awakening, but, through many confirmations and encounters, God has shown that difficult times are ahead. It is simply wisdom to heed these warnings and take the time now to prepare. The simple direction and wisdom given by James Robinson is still true today: we have a choice, humility or humiliation.

When we look at what is happening in Venezuela, we have to also recognize the danger signs of what is presently happening in America. Presently, multiple nations are holding large amounts of American debt. According to CNN Money, “Saudi Arabia stockpiled $116.8 billion of U.S. Treasuries as of March, the Treasury Department announced on Monday, ending four decades of keeping the figure secret. That makes Saudi Arabia the 13th largest foreign holder of U.S. debt, though well behind the $1 trillion-plus owned by China and Japan each.” The answer will not come through those who are living for the world. The answer lies in how the Church responded to God. 2 Chronicles 7:14 reveals, “If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, and I will forgive their sin and will heal their land.” Truth of the matter is that a wise person sees danger and prepares. The question is how.

If we are aware that hard times and devastation are on the horizon, the simple items of food and water are a great start. Some may be mocked and ridiculed for this simple wisdom. But, as Jim Bakker shares, this is evident of how many responded to God, as recorded throughout the Bible. When God told Noah that a storm was coming, he built an ark, as the Lord directed. He also stored food as the Lord commanded in Genesis 6:21, “You are to take every kind of food that is to be eaten and store it away as food for you and for them.” The significance of Noah rings true again when considering when the disciples asked, “when will this happen, and what will be the sign of your coming and of the end of the age?”, as stated in Matthew 24:3. After responding to the disciples at length, Jesus refers to the days of Noah in Matthew 24:37, “As it was in the days of Noah, so it will be at the coming of the Son of Man.”

Pastor David Lankfordcontinues to share a message of the same note as he shares about Jesus’ continuing response to the disciples through the story of the ten virgins in Matthew 25:1-13. Five of these virgins were wise because of storing up oil for their lamps, and five were not. At the sound of the coming of the Bridegroom, the five foolish virgins realized their immediate need for oil. The foolish virgins asked the wise virgins for oil but the answer they received was no. The significance of this parable, as Pastor Lankford shares, is Jesus’ response in verse 9, ‘No,’ they replied, ‘there may not be enough for both us and you. Instead, go to those who sell oil and buy some for yourselves.’ The ‘buying’ and ‘selling’ brings awareness to the end times warning in Revelation 13:16-18 that speaks of a required ‘mark’ in order to buy and sell. “It also forced all people, great and small, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hands or on their foreheads, so that they could not buy or sell unless they had the mark, which is the name of the beast or the number of its name. This calls for wisdom. Let the person who has insight calculate the number of the beast, for it is the number of a man. That number is 666.”

Just a few years ago, in 2012, states like New Jersey were devastated by Hurricane Sandy. This being an area that never experienced such weather, a huge amount of people were left vulnerable and unprepared. Gas was rationed, people waited in endless lines for food, while some rowed through the streets in boats, stories were flooded, train systems were inoperable, and search and rescue teams were everywhere. In these disasters, there are always two lines: the receiving line, who need the food and help, and the ministering line, who were people prepared and have something to give away. You want to be in the line that was prepared!

John shared a prophetic dream, in which an unfathomably devastating disaster struck the center of the United States. The event had been so bad, it was a known fact that no one had survived it. Within the dream, John was awakened by someone who said, “You’re not going believe this,” informing him that the enemies of America had attacked amidst the crises, dropping bombs across the nation. This was the end of the dream. Why wouldn’t our enemies exploit us in our time of weakness? Think about it. If we aren’t prepared for this, we will be like the people left outside the ark, the five foolish virgins, the ones who take the Mark of the Beast in order to survive. If God is telling us to “build an ark,” we had better respond while we still can.

If the warnings and prophetic signs could not be loud and clear enough, consider the most recent construction that is nearing completion in Williamstown, Kentucky. Ken Hamm is set to open the Ark Encounter on July 7^th, which is a full size replica of Noah’s Arkthat also serves as a museum and restaurant. God is speaking to us. 2 Peter 3:9 declares, “The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.” These are the moments for us to respond to God and His warnings. LISTEN NOW! There are so many events that are taking place throughout America that are unprecedented to the times. Our economy is teetering on the edge. Terrorism is at levels like never before seen. Christian persecution is not only happening more and more throughout the world, but we are also seeing it within the borders of America. It seems that everything that can be divided is. It may appear as the worst of times but we must remember that we will also experience the best of times. Heidi Baker shared about this recently while speaking on GOD.tv.

“I had a vision in your church and it wasn’t what I expected to see. … I saw bread lines, soup kitchens, and I saw people wearing beautiful clothing. Their clothing was not worn out.” She continues, “The worriers turned into worshipping warriors.” When she asked the Lord why she was seeing the lines, The Lord responded, “Because it’s a suddenly.”When she continued to ask about what to do, The Lord continued to respond to her, “Tell them what you see in Mozambique, they will see in America with the signs and wonders and miracles.”

There are exciting days ahead. These moments are not for us to find our strength or hope in the amount of food or water that we have, but so that we can continue to minister and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who just might be in the food lines. California Drought 4 Years; Farmers in Despair- Could the Future Include less Food for Americans?

LISTEN NOW! When we sit down for a meal to eat, often times we don’t consider everything that took place that made one single meal possible. Reportedly, 2% of America’s population provides the food for the other 98%. When we begin to see the enormous work and labor force that makes the food in America possible, we can begin to understand some of the dire realities that those 2% are currently facing.

Right now, the State of California is enduring a drought for more than four years. There are some whose income is not dependent on the price of water, but for those that do, the increasing costs of water in the State of California is unprecedented. In a report from CNBC, one farmer, in Central California, shares that his expense for water in 2013 was $3,200. One year later it was $33,000; nearly a ten-fold increase. Based on reports, water accounts for 50% of a farmer’s costs.There is nothing like perspective for us to understand some of the difficulties that farmers face in today’s society. Where else on the planet can you go and have the accessibility and variety of fresh foods, vegetables, and fruits that you have in America?

If the reports of drought aren’t bad enough, farmers in California will be doubly hit as harvests of nut farmers are simply being hijacked and stolen. According to CNBC, nuts are being stolen by the truckloads. “It can be upwards of $500,000 for each load, depending on what it is they are hauling.” This is what is taking place to food before it is even arriving for consumers to purchase. Some foods travel more than a 1,000 miles simply to arrive at your plate.

Once food is delivered to consumers, there is growing concern as to what is taking place in America. Because there has been such an abundance of food and nutrients in America, we can often miss the costs and work that goes into making these luxuries so readily available. In a report from National Geographic, “An American family of four trashes an average $1,484 worth of edible food a year.” We are all too familiar to an unknown box in the back of the refrigerator emanating a mysterious odor, or the small styrofoam container that was accidentally left at the table when we left the restaurant: left overs. Not every country has the blessing of having left overs, let alone food at all.

The realities that are taking place today highlight some of the prophetic headlines that John Paul Jackson was shown from the Lord. “Food Prices Lead Nation’s Escalating Inflation Woes” and “Sysco Co and Kraft Considers Guards on Delivery Trucks as Food Nears 40% of the Family Budget” are just some of the headlines that were revealed to Jackson.

In times of hardship, we can recall that God will respond to our humility and repentance if we turn to Him and seek His face, as 2 Chronicles 7:14 states. But, backing up a verse gives a startling reality to what would cause one to seek God. “When I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or command locusts to devour the land or send a plague among my people”.
