Azusa Now! Billy Graham’s Mantle About to Fall on America for a Great Harvest of Souls Part 3

Christians from all over the world gathered in California at the Los Angeles Coliseum for the 110^th anniversary of the Azusa Street Revival that took place in 1906. What God is doing now is a precursor to many of the prophetic words of a coming outpouring of the Holy Spirit. It is such an exciting encounter not only to witness what God is doing but also to be part of the generation when it is happening.

The last time such a monumental event occurred in the Los Angeles Coliseum was during the Billy Graham Crusades in 1963. During this crusade, from August 15^th to September 8^th, a total of 920,927 gathered during the events. If these events are not exciting, take into consideration the prophetic word Lou Engle, founder of The Call, shared during the Azusa Now event. “The proclamation of the Gospel, signs, and wonders, and stadiums will be filled, and Billy Graham’s Mantle is coming on the nation.”

A close friend of Lou’s, Rabbi Jason Sobel, a Messianic Believer, which means a Jew who has received Jesus as The Messiah, had a significant dream. In this dream, the man received a phone call from four Ruth’s: Ruth Prince, Derrick Prince’s wife who loved Israel, Ruth Graham, Billy Graham’s wife, Ruth Heflin who is a friend of Israel, and Ruth from Ruth and Boaz as described in the Book of Ruth in the Bible. The Bible shares that anyone that is not a Jew is considered a Gentile. When Jew and Gentile unite together, it is significant!

Lou shares the significance of this dream and what it means. “I knew the dream meant that there was coming a call when the Gentile Ruth’s would begin to unite together all across the globe and begin to declare ‘Your people will be my people,’ we’re in that moment right now!” Rabbi Sobel continues to describe the significance of the moment. “I believe that we are in a John 21 moment where the Lord is about to tell us to cast the net and this is the greatest catch the world has ever seen. IT IS ABOUT TO COME NOW! They (disciples) were fishing all night and caught nothing and Messiah said throw the net on the right side of the boat. Why on the right side? Because that is the side of love, that is the side of unity, that is the side of relationship. And until we join that, the great catch won’t come.”

As the book of Ruth describes, Ruth was a destitute, homeless and hungry Gentile Moabite woman. But when she met Boaz, all of that changed. Rabbi Sobel expresses, “When she entered into covenant relationship with a Jewish man, Boaz, and when they came together in covenant relationship, she didn’t just get the gleanings of the field she got the full inheritance.” The significance of the four Ruth’s in the prophetic dream that Rabbi Sobel received shows a powerful perspective on the genealogy of Jesus. Rabbi Sobel continues, “There are four women in the genealogy of Yeshua Jesus, they are all Gentiles. Why? Because, The Kingdom of God, The Messianic King, and The Kingdom cannot be birthed unless Jew and Gentile birth it together. When we do, we see the Kingdom of God come on Earth as it is in Heaven. That’s why the Enemy has historically tried to divide Jew and Gentile because he knows that when you unite in the Messiah, we become an unstoppable force for global change and transformation. It’s time to heal the original schism in the Church. The first division was between Jew and Gentile. When we heal that schism, when we repair that division we will see the great catch of John 21…there will be a worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit!”

As Rabbi Sobel continues to declare these truths, “First in English, then with my Arab brother here, in Arabic, because friends, ISAAC AND ISHMAEL ARE COMING BACK TOGETHER! THE FAMILY IS BEING HEALED! WE ARE ONE IN MESSIAH!” As the scripture verse of Ruth 1:16 is projected onto the many screens on the stage, tens of thousands of believers cry out the words of Ruth 1:16 in unison, “DO NOT PLEAD WITH ME TO ABANDON YOU, TO TURN BACK FROM FOLLOWING YOU. FOR WHERE YOU GO, I WILL GO, AND WHERE YOU STAY, I WILL STAY. YOUR PEOPLE WILL BE MY PEOPLE, AND YOUR GOD WILL BE MY GOD.” When Ruth made this declaration, she was making a sacrificial covenant as Lou shared and we can choose to do the same!

Be encouraged to see the Church come together and join in with the declaration. As one draws closer to the Lord it is important to be built up as a disciple of Jesus, so you can keep going no matter what you face. You can do that through Emmaus Road which is a discipleship journey, and it will teach you how to walk as Jesus did. You can start today, and this will also equip you to lead others on the same discipleship journey! It is important for us to be ready for the harvest of souls that are coming into the Kingdom of God! Are you ready for the rain? God is about to send an outpouring, and it is time for the Church to be ready. It can sometimes feel like the rain isn’t coming but take heart and hold on because it is time for the rain! If God has done it before, He can do it again. We are seeing the beginning stages of the blessings of God being poured out in revival with how the Church is starting to unify.

We can also look back over the history of revival and see how God moved, during times that were hard for people. Because of the faithfulness of God’s followers and their unwavering stand for God while they encountered opposition and a spiritual drought they helped usher in a countless amount of people, introducing them to God, His glory and ultimately salvation.

One man who helped during a spiritual drought was Elijah who is written about in the book of 1 Kings. There was an evil government in place, King Ahab, and Queen Jezebel, and Elijah was the prophet that God revealed His voice to in that hour. Through Elijah’s obedience to the voice of the Lord, he proclaims loudly “…As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” And due to this word being delivered it did not rain for three years! Even in this season of drought, Elijah remained faithful to the Lord despite not hearing a new word from Him during this time.

When we stay faithful even during a drought, we will hear from God again. Just like Elijah did. In the midst of the parched and dry drought, Elijah once again proclaims a word to the government to, “…Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” It was about to rain. Remember, Elijah boldly said this without seeing any rain. After Elijah’s servant tells him, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”, Elijah commands his servant “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.” When we hear the voice of God, we must respond in action to what He has said.

Recently God has been continually speaking of such a large harvest that is going to sweep across the nations of the world. God is preparing us for a harvest of 1,000 people coming to Christ, every single week which this was revealed to Rick Joyner at Morningstar Ministries. Can you imagine 1,000 people, every week? These are exciting times coming to the Church! We need to get, get, get ready!

For those that know the Lord, death is not a tragedy; it is a celebration. When considering the life of Reverend Billy Graham, there is nothing to mourn. He has gone to be with the Lord and is now in the presence of the Lord. Graham died at the age of 99 at his home. After a life dedicated to preaching the Gospel, hundreds of millions of people, have been impacted by his life. Reverend Billy Graham has touched the world for Jesus Christ.

As the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association has chronicled, Billy Graham went to be with the Lord on February 21, 2018. What some may not know is that the Gospel was not his number one passion as a boy. “Back then, “Billy Frank,” as he was called, preferred baseball to religion. “I detested going to church,” he said when recalling his youth.” His life was radically transformed after attending a tent revival that was being held by the Evangelist Mordecai Hamm. “Ever since I received Christ as my savior in 1934 in Charlotte, I never had a doubt about my faith in God”.

When his life pursuit became the Gospel, this direction led him to the Florida Bible Institute. It was here that Graham surrendered to the Lord’s call to preach the Gospel. “Well, I got on my knees right there, and I said ‘Lord, I’ll go where You want me to go and I’ll be what You want me to be.” Upon finishing, he continued his education at Wheaton College, in Chicago. It was here that he met a fellow student, Ruth Bell, who would eventually be his wife. Shortly after graduating, they were both married.

His life didn’t start with large crowds and packed auditoriums. It was quite the opposite. Graham was a pastor in a Baptist church in Chicago. It was during this season that he received an invitation to preach on the radio. It was this event that sparked the invitation to join “The Youth for Christ.” Graham continued to preach. The event that launched him as one with international recognition today was his Crusades in Los Angeles. This event was scheduled for three weeks, but the crowds determined otherwise. The Crusades were extended for another five weeks.

Not only did Graham powerfully preach the Gospel, but he was also instrumental during the era of Civil Rights. “He insisted the ropes that separated blacks and whites be torn down during his crusades.” Amidst the many great exploits that the Lord carried out through the life of Graham, he remained a humble man. “I’m not that good; I’m not a great preacher; I’m just an ordinary, proclaimer of the gospel.”

It’s important to remember that the only reason such amazing things can happen in anyone’s life is that God has placed a mantle upon them. God had placed a mantle upon Billy Graham that empowered him to carry out what the world witnessed in his life. What is notable to mention is the prophetic word that was shared during the Azusa Now gathering led by Lou Engle and The Call. It was during this gathering that it was shared that Billy Graham’s mantle would be spread across an entire nation.

As Lou Engle, founder of The Call, shares, the Lord had spoken to him about the coming shift to The Call. “The Call is having a shift, and it won’t be just prayer, but it will be the proclamation of the Gospel; signs and wonders, and stadiums will be filled, and Billy Graham’s Mantle is coming on this nation.” Through a sequence of divine events, the news of this mighty event reached Billy Graham. He was greatly humbled by the news as he recalled the memory of preaching the Gospel in the same Coliseum that Azusa Now was held. In response, he shared, “It is good that this event is happening. It’s not about me though. It’s only about the glory of God. It’s about God’s glory alone. Tell them to stay focused on Jesus and the Cross.” Now is the time to receive all that the Lord has for us, at this moment, in this generation. The Glory of God is spreading across every area of this nation.

Catholic Church Repents, Racial & Oppressed People Groups Seek Reconciliation at 110th Anniversary Of Azusa Now Part 2

[Part1 of 4] [Part3 of 4] [Part4 of 4] There were powerful miracles that God did in the recent Azusa Now event commemorating the 110^thanniversary of Azusa Street Revival in Los Angeles, California. Today, another powerful gathering of believers, from all across the Body of Christ, gathered at the Los Angeles Coliseum to cry out to God, in humility, repentance, and forgiveness asking for revival.

In order for the Church to walk in the power of healing, we must humbly embrace the soles of repentance and forgiveness. Right now in America, our nation is experiencing such a tension of racial division. But, that doesn’t mean that God can’t still do an awesome work. As The Church, it matters how we handle and respond to the issue of race in our nation.

As Lou Engle and another friend were seeking the Lord for revival, the man had a dream. In this dream, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. was carrying a white bag with black handles. MLK, Jr. turned the bag upside down and violently shook out the contents of the bag and threw it to the ground. When the man went to pick up the bag, MLK, Jr. said, “NO!…” After seeking the Lord for the interpretation of the dream, the Lord revealed, “It’s a white bag and it’s the black handles. This is how your generation of blacks, African Americans, have handled the white baggage. You’ve been carrying it for way too long.” The words the man continues to share cannot be ignored. “Get rid of your bitterness. Get rid of your resentment. Get rid of your unforgiveness. Get rid your guilt manipulation. Get rid of your white baggage so that we can all get into this new vehicle that’s gonna bring revival and justice for everybody.” The questions remains, “What color is your baggage?” Continue Reading…

Dreams: Language of God – “Don’t say ‘it’s just a dream”, Lou Engle

LISTEN NOW! WATCH FULL PROGRAM! Can you imagine God, the Creator of the Universe talking to you? Would you say, ‘oh that’s just God’? God speaks to us in dreams. So many people hear about how God is speaking and they say, ‘it’s just a dream’. We cannot respond to the voice of God this way. During a recent panel of Lou Engle, Bill Johnson, and Benny Hinn, Lou Engle was asked to expound about hearing God’s voice in dreams.

As Engle is asked this question, he cuts right to the core of the topic and points out these important words; “The last days language of the Holy Spirit is dreams.” When we comment saying ‘it’s just a dream’, we are dismissing the voice of God in our lives and in the lives of others. Engle asks this powerful question, “Who knows what angels had to fight through to break into your world, to give you their thoughts and you say, ‘it’s just a dream’? He continues by reminding us all, “I think the Church needs to stop saying ‘it’s just a dream’!’

When we spend time with Jesus, it is only a matter of time that we begin to hear His voice and His heart about that which is important to him. Engle points out that we need those around us who are also hearing the voice of God through dreams. “If you hang around the dream King, you get into a dream stream, you join yourself to a dream team, and you do the Martin Luther King thing.” Engle continues, “Every dream is a potential movement”. When we begin to look at dreams as the language of Heaven, we will receive more from these dreams as Heaven is intending for us to see them as. He highlights a recent dream that was given to Todd White that prompted White to adopt a baby. This caused Engle to realize “I see hundreds and hundreds of thousands of babies being adopted because of your story. Because a dream is like a seed. You stick with that dream long enough and it becomes a tree and you influence the world”.

Engle begins to point out the purposes of what dreams can impart to us when we see them as the Last Days language of Heaven. “Dreams are so profound, they give you divine intelligence, they give you the secrets for deliverance…you get inner healing in your dreams”. As Engle shares these profound revelations, he points to a journey that he experienced in his own life when meeting with teenagers in Taiwan. After an all-night prayer meeting, he received a dream from the Lord. “Why should we waste a third of our lives without the language of heaven bombarding us?”, Engle asks. He believed the dream he received would bring revival. But, to his shock and surprise, the next day, when he got up to preach, he was interrupted by a powerful move of the Holy Spirit that moved upon all of the teenagers. Engle didn’t preach a word. Then God spoke to him. “This will never be about your preaching. It’s what I’ll do when kids pray.”

As Engle continues this inspiring story, he continued to have meetings with these teenagers that were the Christian leaders in their schools. This was the beginning birthing of what is now known as “The Call”. It was this beginning process that birthed the reality of people standing before the Supreme Court with LIFE tape over their mouths, praying for abortion to stop in America. This was seen in a dream from God! As Engle describes it, “it was brilliant wisdom, because nobody can argue with silence…it’s silent prayer for those who have no voice. The media took it up and blasted it all over the world. They don’t like what we stand for, but they’re actually promoting the movement because we got authority over the media by divine revelation.”

This is so exciting! Acts 2:17 declares, “In the last days, God says, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, your old men will dream dreams.”

At the VFNDream Center, we don’t do anything unless God says to do it. God has shown us stadiums filled with multitudes of people crying out to God. We have family, spiritual mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters walking together. It is this unity of family that reveals how much the world is loved by God. If you don’t receive dreams in your night seasons, begin to spend time abiding with God and ask God to speak to you. When you receive dreams from the Lord, write them down and bring them to your pastor.

At the VFN Dream Center, we don’t do anything unless God says to do it. God has shown us stadiums filled with multitudes of people crying out to God. We have family, spiritual mothers and fathers, brothers and sisters walking together. It is this unity of family that reveals how much the world is loved by God. If you don’t receive dreams in your night seasons, begin to spend time abiding with God and ask God to speak to you. When you receive dreams from the Lord, write them down and bring them to your pastor.

Murder of the Unborn Ending: Prerequisite for REVIVAL and THIRD GREAT AWAKENING?

We have been saying for quite some time, agreeing with IHOP-KC, praying that God would end abortion, send revival, and for a true national revival to come in America. Since 1973, more than 50 million babies have been aborted since the passing of the Supreme Court case Roe v Wade. One of the stipulations of Obamacare, is to fund the act of abortions in America. There are American tax dollars funding abortion. When God sees this money, He sees it as blood money. We can ask the men and women who thought abortion was their only choice at the time. Now, many realize the sobering reality for what it is. Would my child be 5 years old, 10 years old, 20 years old, if I would have decided to keep them?

We believe that the ending of abortion is the prerequisite for revival to come in America. Presently, children are aborted in abortion facilities on a cushioned table, but it is the same thing as sacrificing children on a rock for the false god of Molech. We cannot continue to allow abortion in America and believe God to pour out revival in our land. See the full discussion about this important reality, and so much more. Swarms of Drones like Locust; the Future of War?

As the increasing advancements of technology is growing at exponential speeds, we are seeing Artificial Intelligence taking new grounds, and new companies, such as Deep Mind and Deep Think releasing new developments. Looking at these technologies, we can see that future war is going to be horrific. Some may have heard of drones, but looking at the recent video of the Department of Defense’s recent test using drones will cause new concerns. As the video describes, “In October 2016, the DoD successfully demonstrated one of the world’s largest micro-drone swarms at China Lake, California.”

As a camera follows three F/A 18 Super Hornets, small objects can be see being released from the belly of the Hornets, 103 Perdix drones fill the sky. “The micro-drones demonstrated advanced swarm behaviors such as collective decision-making, adaptive formation flying, and self-healing.” And further describes, “The drones are capable of conducting low-altitude intel mission and work is being done on a new design, which will include more advanced autonomy.”

This was back in 2016. The question is, what if these drones are used on American citizens? Amazon is currently working on drones being used to ship their packages. Imagine a swarm of these drones coming after you. Reportedly, the FCC now has protection over these drones as aircrafts. This means, to shoot a drone down out of the sky is to violate FCC laws.

These days require wisdom. We must be mindful of how the advancements of technology are effecting the world that we live in. AI, Robots will Bring Devastating Job Losses and Disruption? Warns Elon Musk

When we see how quickly Artificial Intelligence (AI) is changing in our culture, some are looking at these advancements with high hopes, others are taking considerable pause. Elon Musk, founder of Space-X, and co-founder of PayPal, is one of those looking at the development rate of technology with concern. When he recently spoke with America’s governors, he shared some alarming words in response to their many questions.

“I have exposure to the most cutting-edge AI…and I think people should be really concerned about it. I keep sounding the alarm bell, but until people see, like, robots going down the street killing people, they don’t know how to react.” Musk continues to point out how we should be responding to AI. “I think we need to proactive in regulations, instead of reactive.” As Musk elaborates, if we wait to act in a reactive manner, it will be too late. His following comments underscore why he feels so strongly that the AI industry needs to be regulated. “AI is a fundamental risk to the existence of human civilization.”

When we look at the addition to robots to our culture, in a greater way than they are now, we may not understand how we will be effected. But, Musk shares insight in a way that everyone can understand. “Robots will be able to do everything better than us…this is really like the scariest problem to me.” With Musk’s entrepreneurial background and business sense, he understands the intense competition that leading businesses can have with one another. If a company decides not to pursue advancements in AI, it is only a matter of time before they are destroyed by their competitors. This in itself causes every player in the AI industry to pursue advancements simultaneously. This is shouting the outcry for government regulation to be implanted.

It’s important to remember that Musk is an extremely intelligent man, and has seen developments in AI that many would never dream of. His understanding of AI will be smarter than him! If you don’t know God, this is a good time to start and get to know Him. God wants to come alive inside your heart and dwell inside you through Jesus Christ. Glimpse of President Trump’s Joint Session of Congress Speech

A new voice is at the helm of leadership over America. A voice of hope and inspiration is once again echoing out from the halls of Washington. In his recent speech to a Joint Session of Congress, President Donald Trump shared many words of both inspiration and hope.

Looking back on the encouraging words that President Trump shared we can see the clear perspective of optimism that the President has for this moment in history, and the days ahead. “Each American generation passes the torch of truth, liberty and justice, in an unbroken chain all the way down to the present. That torch is now in our hands and we will use it to light up the world.” The President continued to share, “I’m here tonight to deliver a message of unity and strength and it is a message deeply delivered from my heart.”

There has certainly been a shift since President Donald Trump has taken office. “What we are witnessing today is the renewal of the American spirit. Our allies will find, that America is once again ready to lead.” This isn’t a direction that the President can accomplish on his own. He invites everyone to join him on this charge. “I am asking all citizens to embrace this renewal of the American spirit. I am asking all members of Congress in dreaming big, and bold, and daring things for our country. I am asking everyone watching tonight, to seize this moment, believe in yourselves, believe in your future, and believe once more, in America.”

In addition, President Trump also recognized Carryn Owens, the wife of Navy Seal William “Ryan” Owens who was killed during a January operation in Yemen. While recognizing Carryn and Ryan’s sacrifice for the nation’s freedom, the President reportedly held a two minute standing ovation. “For as the Bible teaches us, there is no greater act of love than to lay down one’s life for one’s friends. Ryan laid down his life for his friends, for his country, and for our freedom.”

We are exceedingly grateful for Ryan’s sacrifice and his sacrifice for our nation. Our prayers go out to Carryn Owens and all of her family. It is such a difficult pain to go through a time like this, to lose a loved one. But, it is a reassurance of courage to know that his loss was not in vain. Repealing 20,000 Pages of Obamacare with 123 Pages of the American Health Care Act

As President Trump and his cabinet continue on through the first 100 days of the Trump Administration, they are now focusing their efforts on repealing The Affordable Care Act, also known as Obama care. The present substitute is the American Health Care Act. There are a few significant differences between the two. The American Health Care Act is much shorter; being only 123 pages, compared to the Obamacare compilation of 20,000+ pages. Fox News spoke with House Ways and Means Committee Chairman, Kevin Brady and House Energy and Committee Chairman, Greg Walden, to discuss the coming changes.

Chairman Brady points out how the new bill to replace Obamacare is set to replace two major principles: 1) “To restore state health care. Get it out of Washington”, and 2) “Restore the free market… give individuals the power and freedom to choose the plan that is right for them”. In addition, Chairman Brady explains how tax credits will immediately be in effect. “…that ranges in price from $2,000 to $14,000 a year depends upon their age, and their family, and with that, they can buy affordable plans that are approved and certified in the state that they’re in.” No longer will citizens have to choose what is given to them, but will be able to choose what they feel best meets their needs. “These are plans that they need and can use, not the plans that Washington has been dictating to them.” Chairman Brady continues to explain how tax breaks that will be offered to those who are leading small businesses, as well as those who may be in between jobs, or someone is getting their first healthcare plan.

For those who are currently receiving Medicaid, or those about to, Chairman Walden describes how Medicaid will be effected. “What we want to do is restore power to the States, put Medicaid on a budget and get back to where you have a doctor-patient relationship…” He continued to share, “we want to get back to where our governors, and our states, and our local governments can innovate with those most in need; those on Medicaid…”

The dangerous deciding factor of Obamacare was that it was originally deemed a “tax”. It’s important to remember that the power to tax is the power to destroy. The introduction of this new Act is breaking that power to destroy that the Federal Government had over all of America. We need to pray for all of our leaders who have a part in making this transition a reality. The good news is that all of this is changing. President Trump’s Speech on the USS Gerald R Ford, Newly Commissioned Aircraft Carrier

President Trump is continuing his words of hope, inspiration, and encouragement as he recently visited the soon to be commissioned USS Gerald R. Ford. It is the newest of the Navy’s aircraft carriers, and as President Trump describes it as , “a monument to American might that will provide the strength necessary to ensure peace”. The President quickly honored the Ford family, the many men and women who took part in the construction of the Navy ship, as well as the men and women of our military and U.S. Navy. The USS Gerald R. Ford is no small vessel. Its size is comparable to nearly 4.5 acres of land, will host 4500 personnel and carry 70 aircraft.

President Trump caste a hopeful vision for our nation’s military as he described the advancements and equipment that is coming to our many service members. “We will have the finest equipment in the world; planes, ships and everything else. We are going to have very soon the finest equipment in the world. We will give our military the tools you need to prevent war and if required to fight war and only do one thing, you know what that is, win…” The President also continued to point to the new aircraft carrier and its ability to fight wars. “This great aircraft carrier provides essential capabilities to keep us safe from terrorism and take the fight to the enemy for many years in the future.”Considering this important reality in war fighting, President Trump quotes the Commander of the US Pacific Fleet during World War II, Admiral Nimitz. “It is the function of the Navy to carry the war to the enemy so that will not be fought on US soil.”

As the President paints a hopeful future, he details the grim reality that the US Military is currently in regarding its size. “Our Navy is the smallest it’s been…since World War I.” But he has plans to take the Navy to new heights. “I just spoke with Navy and industry leaders and have discussed my plans to undertake a major expansion of our entire Navy fleet including having the 12 carrier Navy we need.” As the President continues to describe, it will be the American military that will lead the way. “American ships will sail the seas. American planes will soar the skies. American workers will build our fleets.”

It is so exciting see the President sharing such hopeful words as well as supporting our nation’s military and the military supporting him. NY Met Tim Tebow Making Headlines, and he just arrived to Spring Training

Tim Tebow is once again in the media headlines. Some may not be aware, but this time it isn’t wearing a football jersey. Tim Tebow has arrived at the New York Met’s spring training. But, when he addressed the media, he shared what he wanted to be remembered most for, and it wasn’t as a ball player.

As WPTV is reporting, Tebow doesn’t want to be remembered for his athletic skills on the field. He wants to be remembered for how he lives his life, off the field. As one who has spent much of his life ministering to others around the world, as well as experiencing some of sports most elite arenas, he shares these inspiring words. “So much of handing sports is handing pressure. Well what pressure do you have if you’re 0-12, and you’re at the plate, versus someone that is fighting for their life? Versus someone that we picked up on the side of the street in Haiti because they were cripple. Or they’re not wanted, or they’re thrown into the garbage? How do you compare those things? For me there’s not a comparison.” He continues, “It’s not how I want to be known in my life; it’s not as a football player, as a baseball player, as someone that worked hard to accomplish those things. I want my life to be so much more than that.” He points to what he does want his life to be remembered for. “I want to be someone that was known for brining faith, hope, and love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need. And that is something that is a life calling for me and so it’s so much bigger than sports.”

With that being said, he isn’t against sports because it is through this opportunity that is able to have the impact that he has. “But I am so grateful for sports because it’s given me a platform to be able to share and love and care for people all over the world. So, I wouldn’t trade that for anything.” Many have watched Tebow’s journey from the NCAA, to the NFL, and now to a possible debut in the MLB. The History of Revival and the Coming Move of God

When oppressive times are at hand, we can often become consumed at what is happening all around us and forget that God is still in control. This couldn’t be more true than what was taking place within Israel during the time of Gideon. What Gideon didn’t know was that he was about to be chosen to lead Israel out of the oppression that the whole nation was experiencing. Regardless of what we see, or what we don’t see, now is the time to look up towards the heavens because these are the moments when God does His best work.

When we look back over the history of the Church over the past few hundred years and the waves of revivals that swept across the Globe, we must remember that each of them took place during very trying times. Because of the faithfulness of those who heard from God, and their unwavering stand for God amidst continual opposition and pressure, countless scores of souls were able to be introduced to the power of God.

The Book of 1 Kings focuses on one such man, Elijah. Evil government was in place, King Ahab and Queen Jezebel, and Elijah was the prophet that God revealed His voice to in that particular hour. Through Elijah’s obedience to the voice of the Lord, he proclaims loudly that it is not going to rain in the land in 1 Kings 17:1. “…As the Lord, the God of Israel, lives, whom I serve, there will be neither dew nor rain in the next few years except at my word.” Turns out, not a single drop fell again for another three years.

While the drought had fully settled in and the effects of the drought had been experienced throughout all of the land, Elijah once again heard from the Lord and remained faithful to declare what God had spoken to him. Think about the importance of Elijah’s faithfulness to what God had spoken to him about. Even amidst the season of not hearing a new word from the Lord, Elijah remained faithful.

When we are moving in obedience to what the Lord reveals to us, this is exactly what we are going to experience. There may be a drought of His voice all around us, but will we remain faithful to the last word the Lord said to us? Elijah did. Then, in the midst of the parched and dry drought, Elijah once again proclaims a word to the government in 1 Kings 18:41, “…Go, eat and drink, for there is the sound of a heavy rain.” It was about to rain. Remember, Elijah boldly said this without seeing any present rain. After Elijah’s servant tells him, “A cloud as small as a man’s hand is rising from the sea.”, Elijah then commands his servant “Go and tell Ahab, ‘Hitch up your chariot and go down before the rain stops you.” We must cooperate in accordance with God’s word and respond in agreement to it.

God has been continually speaking of such a large harvest that is about to sweep across the nations of the world. God is preparing us for a harvest of 1,000 people coming to Christ, every single week. This is what was revealed to Rick Joyner at Morningstar Ministries. Can you imagine 1,000 people, every week. This is too big to be sustained in any one building. The Church is the people, not the building.

William Seymour was the very man that God chose to be the catalyst of what would be known as the Azusa Street Revival. What broke out in Los Angeles, California in 1906, remained until 1915, eventually reached the world and can still be affected today. What is even more striking about this move of God was Seymour’s prophetic word that God would do an even greater move about 100 years later. We are in those very moments right now. When Lou Engle led the gathering of “Azusa Now” at the Los Angeles Coliseum, it was a prophetic gathering and an act of faith believing God to move again powerfully like He did in 1906.

Allow your faith to be radically lifted and stirred as you are encouraged to remain steadfast to what the Lord said to you during these difficult seasons and to hold on to the encouragement of what the Lord desires to do. Saturday April 9^th was no ordinary weekend occurrence. It was the 110^th Anniversary of a powerful move of God that is still bringing fruit into the Kingdom. The Azusa Street Revival was a mighty outpouring of the Holy Spirit that took place in Los Angeles, California. That was Azusa then. Now, 110 years later, God is beginning a monumental movement again being spearheaded by Bill Johnson and Lou Engle. This isn’t Azusa then; this is Azusa Now!

In a special interview, Bill Johnson and Lou Engle share the storyline, all the way from the humble beginnings of the Azusa Street Revival, to what is now being carried out in Present Day. Some may not be particularly aware of the Azusa Street Revival. Bill Johnson shares about it by stating, “The Azusa Street Revival is kind of recognized as the root system of the Pentecostal Movement, that which has brought more people into the Kingdom than any other revival in all of history.” With this understanding, it is easy to understand that this revival not only impacted its immediate culture and generation but, the many generations that were still to come.
