Prophecy: Epicenter of Christianity Moving West to Asia- Seeking Pure Gospel and Pure Expression of Christianity, says Rick Joyner

They continue to discuss how so many things are happening in China not to mention that their population comprises of 1 billion people. They also begin to share what Dumitru Duduman saw happening to America and the partnership that would evolve with China and Russia in particular but it also included others and the harm the Lord will allow them to do to America. Greg continues to share that during the season of the Malachi Mandate he sought the Lord for a directional dream the Lord gave him a detailed dream regarding China. They continue to discuss the shift that is taking place and in particular the prophetic word given by Rick Joyner indicating such. Rick shares:

“There is a saying that contains

an important insight: In Jerusalem,

Christianity became a religion.

In Greece, it became a philosophy.

In Rome, it became an institution.

In Britain, it became a tradition,

an in America, it became in enterprise.”

Rick further states how “Many Christians from around the world have come to learn from churches in America and have taken what they have learned back to their countries. Many of these did a great job at filtering out what should not be applied in their home countries and have risen up works that are truly exceptional. Not many Americans and others are going to learn from them.” America is not the church although the church is in America. Some of the church actually complains about government spending when in fact the church according to George Barna spends 1.3 million dollars for baptizing believers. Americans think highly of themselves but the truth is that God thinks highly of all people.

There are two questions that are emerging in this shift; which are what is the pure gospel and what is the purest expression of Christianity? The purest expression of the church is family and when we truly begin to see ourselves as brothers and sisters then we will see the much needed change. Greg continues to share the prophetic dreams regarding China and the timely encounter with a Chinese man in a very remote area that was in America for just a brief moment in time. God is going to do something really big in China for God loves Asians. The church is shifting. Find out what is happening during this pivotal transition and so much more. Barna Research Proves Non-Christians are Open to One on One Conversation About Christian Faith

Jesus born of a virgin lived a sinless life. Loved. Healed. Delivered. He shared the heart of God with us. In his time of ministry, He chose His 12 disciples and walked His life out with them as they ministered to others and people became believers of Jesus. Then came the time that Jesus gave His life for us and then rose again on the third day. After His resurrection, Jesus walked the earth for 40 days and talked with the disciples and told them what they needed to do once He left the earth. Lastly, He said that they were to tell the world about Him!

“Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely, I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” Matthew 28:18-20

We sum up what Jesus called us to do into one word, evangelism, but it is so much more than that one word! This is what we have been called to do is to tell people about Jesus but are we as believers doing this? There is power in the Gospel! When we share our testimony, our witness of what happened when we met Jesus, then Holy Spirit will anoint what we are saying to bring conviction to the person, who then opens their heart to receive Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

The Barna Group shared a recent report done in partnership with Alpha USA, Reviving Evangelism, that showed 52% of practicing Christians are comfortable extending an invitation to invite their friends to church. That first area discussed is how people would like to explore faith. The study was done with two groups. One being “Lapsed Christians” those who identify as Christian but have not attended church within the past month and “non-Christians” those who identify with a faith other than Christianity or with no faith at all.

Next, they look at how people have experienced evangelism.

Lastly, we look at how Christians are most comfortable sharing faith.

A way to reach people is to have a personal relationship with them! We can’t just speak to people, but we must speak with them. This is what we are called to do, to deny ourselves, to take up our cross, and follow Jesus. Everyone is looking for an authentic relationship so why would we not take the time to build relationships? This is how we win people to the Lord, by spending time with them. More Americans Engaged in the Bible: State of the Bible 2019 Barna Group and American Bible Society Report

George Barna, founder of the Barna Group, as described on their website they are a visionary research and resource. Started in 1984, the firm is widely considered to be a leading research organization focused on the intersection of faith and culture. A new study just released shows the State of the Bible in 2019, and this was done in partnership with the American Bible Society. This study brings exciting news as there is more Bible engagement than previous years! We are excited to bring this news to you and hope you are encouraged.

The first area covered is how fewer Americans are disengaged with the Bible. This study is done based on the population in America which is at 327 million people. Using 14 questions covering adults’ interactions with and perspectives about the Bible, Barna and American Bible Society defines five different segments of Bible engagement which measure:

Frequency (how often people interact with the Bible)
Centrality (how the Bible shapes their choices)
Impact (how the Bible transforms their relationships)

Year-over-year, overall Bible engagement appears to have increased slightly, with some Disengaged shifting to Neutral or Friendly. The chart below shows some significant shifts among each major segment. Notably, there are 8-point increases since 2018 among the Bible Friendly and Neutral groups. There is also a 9-point decrease among the Disengaged.

In the chart below you can see how the points have changed concerning Bible engagement by the years.

As shared by the Barna Group, two other significant but less encouraging shifts in the spectrum of Bible engagement are worth noting. The first is that Bible Centered adults have decreased from 9 percent to 5 percent in the past year. The other trend is that more than one-third of adults (35%) reports never using the Bible in 2019, a 10-percentage point increase since 2011 (25%).

We have seen in America when things get hard in our country, people tend to draw near to God but when things go well, and we prosper people seem to leave God. America is doing great and has been for the past two years, with many of the lowest unemployment numbers ever and more jobs than people to fill them and so much more! But as we see in this study and the chart above more people are not engaging with the Bible. We can change this in our nation, and as the Church, we must stay steady with God no matter how our nation is and remember that we can’t serve both God and money so even when we prosper financially we still need to put God first because we want God to trust us with the coming wealth transfer. Greg wrote about this wealth transfer in the book, I Will Fight, and how we can be successful in our lives no matter where we are while at the same time keeping God first in our lives. The next topic covered is how those adults engaged with the Bible give more financially. Overall, seven in 10 Americans (70%) report giving to a non-profit organization of some type in the previous year. The typical amount given is $100. However, Bible users are more likely to donate than are non-Bible users. The typical non-Bible user donated $10, compared to Bible users, who gave an average of $500. Similarly, scripture engagement also corresponds with higher levels of giving. For example, Bible Centered adults gave an average of $1,000 in 2018 compared to $20 among Disengaged, and $5 among Skeptics.

Next, six in ten American adults believe that the Bible has transformed their lives! Also shared is how Bible engagement has positively correlated to relational and spiritual growth. Half of monthly Bible users (49%) agree their engagement with the Bible has made them feel more willing to engage with their faith. Among adults who use the Bible at least three to four times a year, three in five (61%) express they always experience a greater awareness of how much they need God. Half agree they consistently feel a sense of connection with God (51%), and a similar proportion (50%) desires to know God better. Another 46 percent of Bible users say they show more loving behavior toward others, and one in three (34%) is more generous with their time, energy or financial resources. Results also show a positive influence on how they treat people of a different race than themselves (62%), their support for refugees (55%), their decisions at work or school (53%) and their decisions about sex and sexuality (49%).

New Report! Evangelism in the Digital Age Across the Generation- Millennial’s, Gen X, and Boomers

Evangelism has changed in this new digital age. Social media and mobile devices have changed the way we talk about faith and technology and digital interactions have made evangelism easier. The great thing about digital evangelism is not regulated to what is happening in a building. Reported by the Barna Group, in Spiritual Conversations in the Digital Age, “With the ubiquitous use of social media and mobile devices, the way we communicate has evolved—and, inevitably, so has the way we talk about faith. In a new report produced in partnership with Lutheran Hour Ministries, Barna asked American adults about how they discuss spirituality online. Through posts, comments and profiles, many Christians believe that technology and digital interactions have made evangelism easier: We found that three in 10 (28%) share their faith via social media, and almost six in 10 (58%) non-Christians say someone has shared their faith with them through Facebook. Still, spiritual conversations are fraught in a digital age, and younger generations are among the most cautious about engaging.” In this digital age we don’t have any excuses to not share our faith. Pure Expression of the Church is Family

In America, the Church has been turned into an enterprise. Most decisions must be made by the church board which is how an enterprise is run. According to George Barna, the American Church is paying 1.3 million dollars per baptized believer. This doesn’t sound much better than the government.

So, what is the pure expression of the Church? Rick Joyner shares about a shift in the Church and how the pure expression of it is family. The Church is shifting back to this pure expression, family! Father God gave His Son Jesus Christ, on behalf of His creation so that when we accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior, we become sons and daughters of God, family! How do we get back to family? One way to do this is to relate to God as our Father. Leonard Ravenhill; In Light of Eternity, Modern Day Prophet

Make sure to watch or listen to the full segment about Leonard Ravenhill. He was a great man of God, and his life is written about in the book In Light of Eternity, The Life of Leonard Ravenhill. It has been said that he wasn’t so popular because he did not promote himself anywhere. He was a man of deep prayer, serious about God, the Church and the Church’s destiny. An excerpt about him was written in a newspaper, and it gives a brief account of his early days: “…a band of young men full of faith and the Holy Ghost, to preach Christ to the multitudes unreached and unsought by the Churches. They will receive no salary. They will go as they are led, and they will live by faith. No collections will be taken, no subscriptions solicited, no favors begged. But they will tramp from place to place –preaching- testifying and singing in streets; marketplace; village green and pleasure-beach; depending upon God for everything, and sleeping wherever a shelter can be found.” This was Leonard’s vision to train up young people and launch them to infiltrate society and win people to the Lord.

Living as a Global Christian

We don’t want to miss what God is doing in the world. As American Christians, it seems we have become very self-focused because we are very blessed. Jesus says, “It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God.” We must be very careful not to make the blessings that we have our god. Francis Chan is a great example of how to live as a global Christian! He has made it his goal to reach those who have never heard of Jesus. As a Global Christian, our focus should be to look at what is going on in the Church family around the world and focusing on those that have never heard of Jesus and are in need. How do you see the world? What Percentages of Americans Have a Biblical Worldview and Why it Matters?

How do you see the world? How many Americans have a Biblical worldview and why does this matter? We will explain the reasons why it matters and what we can do to make sure we, along with our family, learn this Biblical worldview. George Barna, with the Barna Group, speaks on Bishop Harry Jackson’s program The Hope Connection and explains what a Biblical worldview is and shows us where the world is at with it.

As a believer it is important that we have the right worldview. Many people get their worldview from what they see celebrities doing or maybe secular media and this is not the right way to gain that view! This will have eternal consequences. The numbers are astonishing that George shares about the world and where it is at with a Biblical worldview and it is sad. Bishop Jackson asks the question to George to measure where the Church is today and how much of the Church has a Biblical worldview.

“One of the things we need to look at is, is the Christian Church in America having influence on the way that people think and behave?” He says that one way to find the answer is to find out how many people have a Biblical worldview. “The Church is about teaching the truths of God and helping people incorporate those into their life, that is what a Biblical worldview does. That worldview is something that everybody has because it helps us make sense of the world and to know how to respond to it. But not everybody has a Biblical worldview.” George continues to share how they finished a study to see how many people actually have a Biblical worldview in America. “Only 10% of adults in America have a Biblical worldview and that’s really about the integration of beliefs and behavior into a lifestyle that imitates Christ.”

Then he looks at things generationally and the numbers progressively get lower. “The boomer and the builder generations in America, the people that are 50 and older, 16% have a Biblical worldview. If we look at the next younger generation, the baby buster or Gen X what we find is that only 7% of them have a biblical worldview. But then when we look at the millennial generation, adults who are 18-30 years of age, only 4% have a Biblical worldview.”

No matter who you are you have a worldview! It is the lens in which we interpret the world. So, we need to ask ourselves what is our worldview? When we say a Biblical worldview that is a God view and only 10% of adults in America have this God view of the world. Everything has been created by God, yet most Americans do not even recognize this according to these numbers!

“For in him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things have been created through him and for him.”
Colossians 1:16

Even us being able to breathe is because God is allowing that. It has been said that the most important thing about a person is what they think about God. If we don’t think that Jesus is the Son of God and have Him as the Lord of our lives, then we will suffer for that eternally in hell!

America can be a nation that influences the world for Christ because we have a large population of approximately 330 million people. The Bible is one of our nations founding documents as researched by David Barton of Wallbuilders. At the same time the world is not wanting people to know that the Bible is a founding document as this program showing that the Bible is a founding document was removed from online once we posted it! But we can’t remove God from the founding of America no matter how hard people try.

George defines a Biblical worldview as “the integrations between beliefs and behaviors into a lifestyle that imitates Christ.” This is pointing out that we can say that we follow Christ and say that we do what the Bible tells us to but until our actions match what we are saying then that is not really happening, and we don’t have a Biblical worldview. And we may not even be saved! An example would be when someone privately prays at home over their food, goes out to eat but does not pray over their food it means they have a different worldview when out in public. People know us by our fruit!

Jesus said, “Likewise, every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. A good tree cannot bear bad fruit, and a bad tree cannot bear good fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus, by their fruit you will recognize them.” Matthew 7:17-20

By the time a child is 13 years old they have established their worldview and a child starts learning their worldview at 18 months of age! As parents we need to have our children in a fellowship that teaches them Biblical truths as they grow to help them learn the correct worldview. Also, as parents we are teaching them at home how to see the world so we ourselves need to be living out the Biblical worldview in front of them consistently. This would be a life of imitating Christ, following the Lord not just in word but in actions as well.

George continues to unpack what a worldview is. “All we are trying to do is to understand a person’s worldview which is what helps you to make your decisions. It’s the filter that you take into daily life…it defines for you what you believe to be good or bad, right or wrong, significant or insignificant. It helps you make the choices that you can make from moment to moment. And what we are suggesting is that God knew we would be making those choices and so He gave us His Word that gives us many many principles about how to think so we make appropriate choices.” This is not complicated it is Bible 101!

In this research by the Barna Group they asked some very simple questions.

This response is from Americans in general and it reveals that it is true that most Americans do not have a Biblical worldview. George compares the difference in the numbers between those who go to Church and those who do not. “We don’t see all that much difference in the behaviors of the two groups. It is because they think the same.” This reveals that regular Church attenders are not applying to their lives what they are hearing from their Pastors. It is like what James wrote about in the Bible, that it is like forgetting what you look like.

“Do not merely listen to the word, and so deceive yourselves. Do what it says. Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like someone who looks at his face in a mirror and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like. But whoever looks intently into the perfect law that gives freedom and continues in it—not forgetting what they have heard but doing it—they will be blessed in what they do.” James 1:22-25

God has blessings in store for His creation, but it is about spending time with the Lord and applying what we learn about Him to our lives. “The Church Has Lost its Voice” says David Barton, looking at the Johnson Amendment and how it affects the Church

We look at the Johnson Amendment and the importance of removing this amendment in America. Some may not know exactly what it is, or how it affects the Church. Kenneth Copeland, Pastor George Pearsons, Bishop Keith Butler and David Barton do an outstanding job educating us all as they have an in-depth conversation about the Johnson Amendment. Initially put into practice by then Senator Lyndon B. Johnson, essentially states that tax-exempt organizations cannot express certain opinions about political candidates.

As David Barton eloquently points out, the original intent of America and the Church was vastly different from how things are today. “When a Church gets a 501(c)3 letter, it’s called a ‘Letter of Recognition’. It doesn’t grant anything. It recognizes that you’re a Church…The reason we don’t tax Churches, and the reason they’re tax exempt, John Marshall… said, ‘the power to tax is the power to destroy’…If you can tax the Church, you can destroy the Church. You can cut out their free speech…” Bringing a deeper clarity as to how the Johnson Amendment is being used in today’s culture, David expresses these words, “Suddenly in America, we can’t do what the Bible says anymore; at least we’re told that. So, the Johnson Amendment is what is used by the critics to say the Church has lost its right of free speech from the pulpit.” To add an even more surprising reality, David points out, “…unions are 501(c)3, they endorse all the time and they speak about anything they want to.”

It is simply because the Church has listened to what the government has implemented as opposed to what the Bible commands that we have arrived at today’s reality. As David physically points out message after message that was preached from the pulpit, creating a stack of messages in front of the very chair he is speaking from, he concludes, “The Church has lost its voice.”

Because the current events are not being talked about in the pulpits across America, many believers want to stand up for what the Bible teaches but aren’t fully confident in knowing what exactly the Bible teaches. When David began to ask the question of what people in the Church want their pastors to preach about, he passed on the questions to George Barna, and comprised a list of the top 12 issues.

God is about to pour out His presence and His glory upon the face of the whole Earth. There is no greater deciding factor when wondering whose Kingdom you are part of, than when the Kingdom of God arrives. It doesn’t matter what someone says or proclaims to be, clarity comes when the Glory of God is revealed. We are either with Him or we are against Him. Now is the time to speak out in boldness and truth for the Kingdom of God. But, not only must we speak it, we also should live it out each day in our daily lives.
