Francis Chan is speaking at the largest student missions conference in the world, Urbana. It is a gathering where people of all ethnicity’s come together to worship the Lord and are empowered to move in the power of God, and they hear the pure Gospel. Which hearing the truth of God’s Word is the only way the Gospel should be shared, and that is what is done at Urbana and what we do here at VFNKB. You can be a part of what we are doing as well to help share the truths of God with the world! It is very encouraging to see these young people being told the truth in love.

As one man describes Urbana, “They are looking at what that next step is, and it’s a really critical time to be trying to figure out what God’s will might be for your life. Whether that means you’re integrating missions into some other career, or you’re looking into a career in missions, period. God can use you either way, and God will use you in a huge way.” Urbana isn’t about just simply listening to a few speakers and returning to a campus or a city. “It’s expanding our worldviews and just opening our eyes to what the Global Church is and how there is a need for us to be a part of that.”

Francis speaks to the students in the conference and shares what he would do differently if he could relive his life. He first expresses his amazement at all the people that were attending that conference on their Christmas break because they wanted to learn how to give their lives away in service to Jesus. He remembers how when he was younger, he was afraid to give himself fully to the authority of Jesus, but now he sees where he should have focused his whole life. “I would have had a greater focus on getting to un-reached people…I would devote more of it to getting this Good News, this message, to people who have never heard about Jesus Christ…I feel… I’ve spent far too much time speaking to people who have already heard the Gospel thousands of times.” He expresses how in America there is such a pull to live a comfortable life and to make a name for yourself. Francis decided to cancel his speaking engagements. He said, “I don’t want to just entertain Christians.” He is now devoting more of his time to reaching the lost who have not heard the Gospel.

In America, it is easy to think that everyone already knows about Jesus, but they don’t! Even in America, many have not heard the true Gospel of Jesus Christ. We must become a disciple ourselves and tell others about Jesus and make disciples! Time is short, and we need to spend every moment we can to reach the lost. We can spend the rest of our days God has given us doing what He said. Francis Chan ‘What I’m Doing Right Now Will Be Labeled a Hate Crime’

Are we prepared for a time when talking about Jesus is considered a crime? Francis Chan spoke of the days that are ahead of the Church, and it is a prophetic word that can be a revelation for the Church, and we can see how close we are to this happening.

“Here is the thing, I am not trying to be prophetic right now. I’m just using my logic the way the world is going, the way the U.S. is going I think there is going to come a time, and It’s probably going to be sooner than later when what I do in a public forum is going to be labeled as a hate crime that a lot of things that we teach will be labeled as a hate speech. Will these public forums even be able to take place? As we get closer to that and there becomes a war over whether we can do that or not, we will be so consumed with winning this war that we will forget about preparing for future.”

Francis gives a couple of examples of how this can happen. He looks at both Russia and China, and the communist revolutions that took place to take down the Church. When the government stepped in, removing the leadership of the Church, these two had vastly different outcomes. Concerning Russia, “The people didn’t know where to turn. They didn’t know how to grow. They didn’t know how to disciple, and so the Church basically died.”

Concerning China, the same thing happened by the Church leadership being removed, “In fact, under Mao Zedong, the persecuted Church grew from 2 million to an estimated, about 80 million in these underground gatherings. Why? Because the people, they understood how to minister to other people. They knew how to teach other people.” We can see now how in China, Russia and other countries that Christians are being persecuted at another level.

Francis encourages us to look at our lives and see which camp we would fall into. Would we know what to do if all our Church leadership was removed? The building is destroyed? It is important for believers to know Jesus and to have a relationship with Him! It shouldn’t matter what is happening in the world because there will always be something crazy going on. We should be able to be firm in our faith and relationship with Jesus no matter what is going on around us.

Jesus has called us to be His disciples and to make disciples. When He reveals His Word to us our hearts should be burning. This took place as the disciples were walking alongside Jesus on Emmaus Road in Luke 24. You can learn how to be a follower of Jesus on Emmaus Road and become a disciple of Jesus today! You can also lead others down Emmaus Road to become disciples of Jesus. If we attempt to make disciples before becoming disciples of Jesus Christ, we are only making disciples of ourselves. Anointed Prophetic Message Preached by a Child: Is this the Beginning of the Harvest of Harvesters for God’s End Time Move of God?

As we see so much darkness in the world, children are being touched by God and are sharing anointed words from God! A young girl shares a message before a large crowd, and it is powerful.

She opens by sharing, “Tonight, I’m gonna preach about receiving the blessing.” She continues by asking two questions, “How many of you guys know what an umbrella does? It blocks the rain from touching you. How many know what a funnel does? It receives the rain. And the rain is the blessings.”

As she continues to talk about the rain, she speaks from 1 Kings 18:41, “I hear the abundance of rain…the rain won’t stop until you receive it.”

She shares a story next of how she was praying for her neighbor. After she had prayed for him, he began to speak in tongues. “How do I stop?” he asked. Immediately she responded, “You can’t. That’s when you start laying your hands on other people and saving them and bringing them to the Kingdom of God.”

This young girl is so inspiring, and the Lord has also shown us and others that the rain is here! A great move of God is coming bringing in a billion young people to Jesus! If you Had to Explain Church to someone, not from your Own Experiences, but by what The Bible says; What would You Say?’ asks Francis Chan

When we look at the Church in America it seems that it has moved away from the Church that we see in the Bible. According to George Barna, the Church presently spends $1.3 million per baptized believer. While at the same time we are spending hundreds of dollars on floral arrangements to be placed in front of pulpits for messages to be spoken to people that most likely are not going to do anything about it. We will be held accountable for this! The larger the Church gatherings less people will do something for God and the smaller the gatherings more people are activated into the ways of God. As staggering as this sounds, it lines up with an encounter that Bob Jones during a death experience and He went to the Lord. In this encounter, he saw a line made up of 98% of the world’s population that was going to spend eternity with their gods while the line that Bob Jones was in, only had 2% in it. We must rethink what Church is all about and get back to the scriptures again! George also reveals that ‘81% of self-professing Christians don’t read the Bible; and of the 19% that do, only 3% make life decisions based on what the Bible says.’

Francis Chan, a man who is direct with the truth of God asks a revealing question about this very matter. “If someone asked you to describe Church, just using the Bible, like you’re not allowed to use any of your experiences, just use the Bible and explain Church to them, what would you say?” If we are not basing our understanding of what the Church is based on what the Bible says, are we doing what God calls us to do? After asking this question to people, he’s confronted with the additional question of are we experiencing what the Bible says in our own lives?

When we look at the scriptures, we see a gathering of individuals that have such a love for one another, it is strange and rare to the eyes of the world. But this is how we are called to live our lives for one another in the Body of Christ. Francis continues to highlight, “Man, that was the Holy Spirit. That’s something that God has done in us. But, when have you seen that?” There is supposed to be an urgency to get the Good News of Jesus Christ out into the world and into the hearts of those who do not yet know this truth. “It doesn’t seem that there is that type of participation in the Church. It seems more like going to the movies rather than going to the gym…it’s sit back and let them do it versus no, I’m gonna give to this and I’m gonna leave feeling great because I put effort into this.” We should be training believers in the ways and teachings of the Lord so that they can go out and do the same. “It feels like we’re trying to recruit leaders rather than develop them and send them out.”

When we look at Scriptures, we see an explosive growth rate when the Church gathers. People simply share the Gospel in obedience to the Holy Spirit and amazing testimonies begin to happen. Presently, we carry a handful of assumptions that we think must take place in order to grow. “When we start a Church, we usually assume, that means we need a preacher…we need a building, we need a guy that leads a few songs, we need a youth pastor, we need a children’s pastor…I don’t see that in here [Scripture]. What do we need to start with? We need to start with followers of Jesus who will love one another like a family. And we will focus on this mission of Jesus Christ and spreading His love to people who don’t know it…we are going to gather to train one another up, build one another up so that we can go out and really obey this Word.”

Regardless of who we are or where we are, God has the same expectation for all of us: to become His disciple and to make disciples who will ultimately go into all the world and repeat the same process. As a Global Christian, our focus should be to look at what is going on in the Church family around the world and focusing on those that have never heard of Jesus and are in need. Elon Musk Discusses Whether Humans are Really Here or Are We in a Computer Simulation?

Elon Musk, who is the CEO of TESLA Motors and co-creator of Pay Pal speaks at the Code Conference and is asked if we are currently living in a simulation. Most people at this conference are very smart, and some including Elon are thinking that we humans truly live in a simulation. Elon says he has had so many conversations concerning artificial intelligence and living in a simulation that he has banned that conversation from certain places, so he can take time to relax. Elon responds to the question, “There is a one in billions chance that this is base reality…arguably we should hope that that’s true because if civilization stops advancing that may be due some calamites event that erases a civilization. So, maybe we should be hopeful that this is a simulation… either we’re going to create simulations that are indistinguishable from reality, or civilization will cease to exist. Those are the two options.” Elon says he hopes we are living in a simulation.

The reality is that it is painful to have a relationship with people. Simulations have been created to replace those relationships including social media. We are living in real life, and we should be living that way. The difference between all this simulation and fake things is that our God is real! We can move in the power that God has given us when we are believers. There is no way we can advance God’s Kingdom if we do not move in power! It is an inter-varsity gathering where people of all ethnicities come together to worship the Lord and to discover their next step with God in their life. The pure gospel is spoken at Urbana and because of this young people that are ministered to leave filled with God and empowerment to move in the power of God.

Francis Chan speaks at Urbana and talks about what he would do differently if he could relive his life. “I would have had a greater focus on getting to unreached people…I would devote more of it to getting this Good News, this message, to people who have never heard about Jesus Christ…I feel… I’ve spent far too much time speaking to people who have already heard the Gospel thousands of times.” Francis talks about how easy it is to get caught up in this life and to try to make a name for ourselves and to forget about everyone who has not heard about Jesus. He is so serious about this that he stopped most of his speaking engagements, so he could devote more time to reaching the lost. “I don’t want to just entertain Christians.”

Elon Musk Discusses Whether Humans are Really Here or Are We in a Computer Simulation?

Elon Musk, CEO of Tesla Motors and co-creator of Pay Pal, is speaking at the Code Conference and is asked the question, “Sort of a philosophic concept, that a sufficiently advanced civilization would be able to create a simulation… that’s like, our existence. So, the theory follows that maybe we’re in that simulation. Have you thought about this?” Elon responds first talking about the game “Pong” and how games have evolved. “Now 40 years later, we have photo realistic, 3-D simulation with millions of people playing simultaneously, and it’s getting better every year.” Musk continues to share, “If you assume any rate of improvement at all, then the games will become indistinguishable from reality…there is a one in billions chance that this is base reality…Either we’re going to create simulations that are indistinguishable from reality, or civilization will cease to exist.”

These are adults having this conversation and these very smart people think that we may be living in virtual reality! It is painful to have a relationship with people which is why people are turning to virtual life versus real life. We need to wake ourselves up today and live in real life because we don’t know when our last day on this earth will be. Our God is real and there is power in the Kingdom. As believers we need to move in God’s power; faith is moving in what we know. Let’s choose faith and power to advance God’s Kingdom! We want to hear from you.
