God Loves His Church NOT Religion: We must Know the Difference

A report is shared from The Guardian concerning the Church, and the title is, England’s Churches can Survive – but the Religion will Have to go. Religion is a form of godliness but no God. It is trying to mimic the Christian lifestyle without Christ. Who is your allegiance to? It is much easier to be the Church when religion is gone. George Barna asked a Pastor over a traditional Church in his book, Revolution, what would happen if you started preaching the Kingdom of God? The Pastor said that he would probably lose many of his members and that his peers would think less of him. No matter where we are we are one Church! It is time for us to be the Church. We answer to God alone, and we can find others who only have their allegiance to Jesus.

We need to get to the basics and not play church anymore. We need to love and care for each other. Maybe you are called to relate to VFN Dream Center and if you feel that call contact us! The Church is Good but Religion has to GO

LISTEN NOW! A recent article in The Guardian was titled,England’s churches can survive – but the religion will have to go. The “Church” has always been “the people” and only in recent times has the mentality of Church being “the building”. 1 Corinthians 3:9 says, “For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.”Considering the events that we are seeing and facing today, the title of The Guardians’ most recent headline is important to note. Religion is what put Jesus on the Cross. Jesus did not come to save buildings. He came to save souls; people. For those who are hungry for the love and truth of Jesus Christ, this is greatly encouraging!

Some people have allegiance to others and some have allegiance to God. It is important for each of us to be honest with ourselves and ask, why are we doing what we’re doing? John 3:16 says, “For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.” God desires relationship so much, that He gave His Son. God is a personal God. We as the Church should be walking in the same way. Being the Church is not as complicated as religion has made it out to be. When the Church, the people, come together and naturally relate, as God has called us to, as family, this is when we see beautiful things in our midst: signs, wonders, healings, the Presence of God, and relationship. Allow your faith to be stirred as you see and hear about the simplicity and the power of what God has designed for each of us to be a part of, and so much more. 7^thGrader Boldly Speaks Truth to Power when she explains that her Teacher made Students say “God is a Myth”

When a teacher at a Texas School, West Memorial Junior High, gave an assignment to a classroom of 7^th graders, it caused one student to stand before the school board detailing what took place. Barely taller than the podium, 12 year old, Jordan Wooley, boldly declared her disagreement to what was asked of her by the teacher. The assignment: to put whether “God was a myth or a fact”. When she and other students insisted on the truth that God is a fact, they were sternly argued against by the teacher and then insistently told to defend their statements. Reportedly, one student was so upset as to how the exchange escalated in the classroom, that they knocked their own books to the floor in frustration.

When the Principal of West Memorial Junior High stated to parents her perspective of the events, parents did not aptly accept her claims;“The assignment was not intended for a grade; it was not intended for a grade through the lesson planning or communicated to the students that the assignment was going to be taken for a grade.” A concerned parent quickly rebuttled, “Why did the assignment say on it that it was worth 20 points? That section, did you see it?” The Principal replies, “Yes”. “Why did it say 20 points?” the parent presses. Reportedly, in the Gulf Coast area, specifically, Santa Rosa County School District, there are signs that the Pledge of Allegiance is now optional. What is happening?

This young girl is standing up as a bold voice in this critical hour. Who you say God is, and what you think about God is the most important thing about you. It is so important, that the answer to those two questions affect Eternity. Are we willing to lose a job over our allegiance to Jesus Christ? What about our homes?
