“You have to own your own happiness. Take it away from other people demanding that they make you happy.” Bishop Jakes continues to point out, “your kids are not going to make you happy; your spouse is not going to make you happy; a big house is not gonna make you happy. Own your own happiness and be responsible for doing those things that bring joy into your heart…”

Trillions of Dollars Back, Record Growth, President Trump in Davos Switzerland
As we look back at the first year of President Donald Trump’s administration, countless victories, successes, and broken records can be seen. When the President recently spoke at the World Economic Summit in Davos, Switzerland, he touched on an array of these victories. Only moments after the President began he speech, he shared these amazing words; “After years of stagnation, the United States is once again experiencing strong economic growth. The stock market is smashing one record after another and has added more than $7 trillion in new wealth since my election.”
Considering it takes output and growth in businesses throughout the nation for our economy to grow, the President also highlighted on the number of jobs that were created in the first year of his Administration. “Since my election, we’ve created 2.4 million jobs, and that number is going up very, very substantially. Small-business optimism is at an all-time high. New unemployment claims are near the lowest we’ve seen in almost half a century.” The President continues to address how unemployment for both African Americans and Hispanics are at the lowest levels that they have ever been.
Businesses around the world are taking note of the tremendous growth that is currently happening within the nation of America. Considering the extensive business history that President Trump has, he understands that taxes massively affect how businesses carry out their day-to-day operations, and what they can do. “We’ve massively cut taxes for the middle class and small businesses to let working families keep more of their hard-earned money. We lowered our corporate tax rate from 35 percent, all the way down to 21 percent.”
This is such a mighty thing that the Lord is doing. It is always important to remember that no government is doing this. This is all be carried out by the Hand of the Lord. Making America Safe, Healthy, Prosperous, and Faith Protected Again; President Trump
During the entire campaign trail for the Presidency, Donald Trump continually said that he would “Make America Great Again”. This has been a promise that has surely been kept. Not only has America been made great again, but it has also been made safe, healthy, prosperous, and faith has once again been protected. These words are not simply words declared by our President, but words that have been expressed by many different individuals throughout the fabric of society.
As Border Patrol Agent, Brandon Judd said, “The Trump administration has accomplished more in one year to secure our border than any other President prior to him. We can actually do our job, and we’re excited to do the work.” As one who understands, firsthand, the realities of our school system, Danesha, a School Choice Liason, expressed her encouragement to see President Trump’s response to School Choice. ”It takes power away from bureaucracies and gives it back to the people. The pressure on me has been lessened. They don’t have those tough regulations on you. I feel like it’s more creative.”
Many times, President Trump expressed his care and compassion for those who felt ignored; and under his Administration, they would no longer feel ignored. As the CEO of a trucking company, Barbara Windsor can tangibly see the difference of President Trump’s leadership. “He’s given a voice to those that were ignored. They were ignored, and they, frankly, had given up on what was going on in Washington. And now we are excited to see things happening, changes.”
As a Veteran, Michael and his wife Sarah waited more than three years, during the former Administration, for needed changes to be made in their home. “Under President Trump, these changes were made in about two weeks.” Faith has also been protected under the Trump Administration. Pastor Raul speaks candidly about the changes that he has witnessed. “I am so grateful for the liberty and the protection of that liberty the President is bringing to people of faith. And he’s demonstrating that over and over again. And he’s keeping his word to people of faith.”
If you have been part of our tribe over the years, you understand how, for years, we have understood that we knew the news, we have been trying to change the news that happens in our nation. This is proof positive that it is changing! God has called us to make an impact in all seven mountains of culture. As the Church, we are not called to operate in solely the Church Mountain, but in EVERY avenue of culture: Business, Arts & Entertainment, Family, Government, Media, and Education. See the full conversation about the exciting changes that are happening in America, and so much more. #SuccessSecrets – Put Yourself on Your Calendar; T.D. Jakes
It is so important to know that God is into your success and you are succeeding in your life. Life is not simply about acquiring more knowledge but increasing in the wisdom that we have. Wisdom is the proper application of the knowledge that we have acquired. In our busy lives, it is important that we do not burn ourselves out by not allowing any time to spend on ourselves. When Bishop T.D. Jakes spoke to Steve Harvey, he expressed the importance of scheduling ourselves in our timelines.
“I put me on my calendar, cause I want my attention too!” He continues this wisdom with this additional thought. “Because, if you don’t see yourself as valuable, nobody else will…” Bishop Jakes highlights how success in this life cannot be achieved solely by ourselves. It takes relationships with other people to accomplish whatever we are hoping for. The most important relationship is our relationship with God.
Bishop Jakes highlights the importance of having a relationship with the Lord. “As long as you know that there is somebody in charge, you don’t have to bear the brunt of the responsibility of the weight of what is going on in your life. You can talk to the boss!” He continues to address the importance of the relationship we have with ourselves. “If you don’t like you, it makes it hard for me to like you.” He continues, “because people when you walk into their atmosphere, they draw you into the cosmos of their own drama; and if they’re full of drama without you when you come in, you get caught up in the cyclone of their drama.” Bishop Jakes ends his point with this humorous reality. “Enjoy your relationship with yourself, and then anybody else who comes in, they enter into a party that you already started.”
This wisdom is so central and vital to enjoying the life that God has blessed us. It is difficult to live this life without the pressures of daily life. People want to know that you are real and transparent. Don’t try to be something that you are not. People will see right through that façade. See the full conversation with Bishop T.D. Jakes as he continues to share wisdom about relationships in every area of your life, balancing work with play, having fun with your children, Instagram, working out, and so much more. #SuccessSecrets – Avoid Frustration and Wasting Time! What Matters Most to You?
LISTEN NOW! Or WATCH FULL PROGRAM!
Have you ever wondered if God pays attention to your life? Does He care about you succeeding? ABSOLUTELY! God is so into your success! The Lord recently spoke to Greg Lancaster and showed him football players at their graduation ceremony. One of these men stood up and said, “I have some good things and bad things. Let the main thing be the man thing.” Suddenly, one of these men turned into Bishop T.D. Jakes. Then Bishop T.D. Jakes began to speak as well. Jakes was holding something in each of his hands as he spoke these words. “Don’t let what matters least compromise what matters most.” This statement is such a powerful nugget of wisdom to hold on to. In his book, He-Motions, Bishop T.D Jakes points out that the highest rate of suicide is men in their 50’s. Don’t end your life, change your values. When we look at each of our lives, what matters in the end? Outside of God, nothing in his life makes sense. Being able to have a relationship with God, and recognize His voice, speaking to our hearts, our lives will be dramatically changed, from that moment forward. When we know what is important, no longer will we allow our relationships to be sacrificed for things that don’t even matter. We can choose to have relationships that feel good or have relationships that encourage us and revive us. It matters who we hang around. Do these words of wisdom lift you up? Are they giving you hope? Is there wisdom that God has given you to live your life better? We want to hear from you. See the full discussion about #SuccessSecrets, the full vision from the Lord, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: He-Motions, Bishop T.D. In this generation, it’s important to recognize that times have changed, and this present generation is not the same as the last. This present generation has no problem doing multiple jobs at once. Many are going to college, ending up with a debt for their education, but without a job to pay off the debt. When Bishop T.D. Jakes recently spoke with Pastor Steven Furtick, Bishop Jakes shared some profound wisdom on changing our mindset for these realities. ” Rather than to go get a job, I thought it was important about being a job.”
As Bishop Jakes explains, “being the C.E.O. of you”. The question is: what is your brand? What are you doing to set yourself apart from the many others in your industry that is competing for the same job? These are just some of the secrets to success that help us in these integral times. When we look back at the profound life and events that were carried out through such impacting men, like Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. we see the mighty advances and effects that one man can have on not only a people, but also a nation. What we may not be aware of is the opposition that takes place amidst such intense advancements. Bishop T.D. Jakes shares about an encounter that he had with a man who walked with Dr. King, Andy Young. Young detailed to Jakes the opposition that Dr. King received on every side. While there was opposition on the outside, there was murmuring and complaining on the inside. The profound wisdom that Young shared was, “we could not wait for the controversy to stop for the movement to go forward.” Have you been waiting for the controversy to stop in order to begin again where you left off? Van Jones & T.D. Jakes “Can You Help Us? Can you Help America?”
Van Jones has gone through his own journey through life as people have accused him of his ties with Communism and questioning his true motives while he was a special adviser in the Obama Administration. But, as the Church, it is important that we love every person with the Gospel of Jesus Christ, regardless of who they are. It is not for us to point fingers, but to be the carriers of the light that God calls us to be. As media is recognizing that they do not have the answer, it is the Church that must recognize that WE have the answer! See the full conversation about this important truth, and so much more.
