When two young Christian men heard of an atheist slave owner who controlled nearly 3,000 slaves, their reactions are still sending ripples of their boldness to this day. No minister was allowed on the West Indies Island where this slave owner and slaves were being held captive. There was no other option. These men sold themselves as slaves. Their reasoning? “May the Lamb that was slain receive the reward for His suffering!” They made a choice not for themselves or their own generation, but for others, and for generations to come. This is the story of the Moravians. Continue Reading…

In a recent study, according to CBSLocal.com, most Americans believe God rewards athletes with faith. “53 percent of Americans and 56 percent of self-described sports fans say athletes with faith in God are rewarded with good health and success……” Looking at athletes such as Russell Wilson, Tim Tebow, and Benjamin Watson, we can see the reality of these truths. Imagine what impact on the Kingdom we can have for God if we worked just as hard in our applicable areas of entrustments as they are doing on the field. Whether it’s in the classroom as teachers, in the board room in our places of business, and every other place in our daily lives. Everything that we do, we can do it for the glory of God. You are Called to Be a GAME CHANGER in Society! Right Where You Live, Work, and Play: Kingdom Impact
When we think of the word “game changer”, we understand that everything is new; nothing is as it was. Every single person in The Body of Christ is called to be a Game Changer. God has called us to go out into ALL of the world and make disciples. Where ever we find ourselves in our everyday life, we can be making an impact for The Kingdom.
Founder and Director of Jesus Culture, Banning Liebscher, recently shared about we can see all of ourselves as a Game Changer. In order to see ourselves as one, we have to understand what exactly it is. We can look throughout the lives of those described in the Bible and see how the Lord used them to change the very situations that they were a part of. Liebscher emphasizes, “I believe that God is raising up a generation that He is sending into cities and nations, and I think the game is about to change in the nations of the Earth because of who God is raising up.” When we think of these powerful statements, our present mindsets within the Church think that one can only impact the Kingdom when standing behind a pulpit. This is simply not true. Continue Reading…
In 1906, a move of God shook the world that is now known as “The Azusa Street Revival”. What many may not know is that one of the significant characteristics of what God did during this time, was the involvement of young people. There is no baby Holy Spirit. God can touch young people just as powerfully as He can those who are older. When confident 10 year old gripped the microphone and began sharing the words upon his heart, he gripped the very audience that listened to his words. “I stand here before you as a 10 year old child. I stand here before you as an uprising sixth grade student. But most of all I stand here before you as a Christian. I stand here before you as a God-fearing young man…” Continue Reading…

When someone is seeking of a healing from the Lord or particular provision; whether it be a breakthrough in finances, or in the workplace, some may have heard the response, “don’t seek the hand of God but the face of God”. The question is: is that how Jesus responded? In a recent discussion with Bill Johnson, Senior Leader at Bethel, he addresses how Jesus responded to those that came to Him. “Jesus never scolded anyone for coming to Him because they wanted a gift, instead what He did was provide them with a miracle that directed their heart toward the Father…if you find His hand look, His face is right there.”
Jesus never condemned someone for coming to Him. If someone feels condemned for praying, that is not God. If we ever believe the lie that “God has a problem with me” there are plenty of religious people to line up and agree with that lie. God loves each and every one of us. He loves us so much that He gave His Only Son, Jesus Christ, to die for us. Continue Reading…
Imagine getting a big box of parts; full of materials, screws, nuts and bolts. Then, apart from having the instructions, how long would it take to put it together, correctly? When we visualize this reality, we are only able to arrive at the end result when we have the instructions. The manufacturer had a desired outcome for whatever product is on the box. What is the instruction manual? The Bible. Who is the Manufacturer? God. It is simple to put together our lives when we abide by what God has given to us from the beginning, His Word.

When we face hardships and difficulties in our lives, focusing only on the hardships will bring about the wrong outcome: fear. We can encourage ourselves that God led the Israelites out of Egypt, amidst plagues and famine. It doesn’t end there; the Israelites found themselves between the shores of the Red Sea and Pharoah’s army. God was in control. He led the Israelites to a situation where there was no answer, but to look up, to Him. In this present moment, God has a plan and His plan is good. Be encouraged as you hear the visions of what God has shown of what He is about to do, and so much more. Continue Reading….

There are reportedly more slaves now in the world than there have ever been. For some, this is new news. The growing concern is the amount of children that are being sex trafficked in the world. As a former CIA Agent, Tim Ballard has worked on many cases involving the identification and removal of human trafficking operations. With his close awareness of these rings, he has also been acutely aware of not only national operations, but also international operations. Because his work within the CIA was limited to the boundaries of American law, he has now begun to work on his own by founding Operation Underground Railroadin order to effectively and efficiently answer the call to this growing international tragedy. This has been an outstanding year as America has witnessed the merciful hand of God turn our nation around. New heights are being achieved within the Stock Market, regulations are being cut at record levels, and the moments of significance keep coming. During the last Cabinet meeting of the calendar year for 2017, President Trump address his Cabinet to unveil more exciting news to his team, as well as to the American people.
President Trump allowed no confusion in the air when he addressed that past administrations had wanted reform regarding taxes, but he would achieve “tax cuts”. “You know, for 34 years, they’ve been trying to do this, and they haven’t. And they used the word “reform.” Well, there is reform, but I said, we’re going to be talking about tax cuts. The heart of our bill is a tremendous amount of relief for the middle class, including a doubling of the child tax credit and a nearly doubling of the standard deduction.” The President continued to point out how soon the American people would be seeing the results of this decision to cut taxes. “They’re going to start seeing the results in February. This bill means more take-home pay. It will be an incredible Christmas gift for hardworking Americans.”
As the President expressed how this tax cut would benefit families with dependents, he also expressed how small businesses would be affected as well. “It makes the vast majority of family farms and small businesses exempt from the estate tax… And it brings overseas corporate profits back to the United States.” But, this isn’t the biggest portion of the tax plan. “Our plan also lowers the tax on American business from 35 percent all the way down to 21 percent. That’s probably the biggest factor in this plan.” As the President continues to comment on the booming market regarding jobs, he points out how more than 2 million jobs have been created since his administration has taken office.
A wave of optimism is sweeping the nation as President Trump continues to release positive reports regarding issue after issue. The President spoke about the growing economy, eradicating ISIS, as well as how American businesses will no longer be leaving the country due to high taxes. As the President finished his remarks on the recent advancements in our country, he asked the Secretary of HUD, Dr. Ben Carson to say a prayer over the Cabinet and the meeting.
“Our kind Father in heaven, we’re so thankful for the opportunity and the freedom that you’ve granted us. We thank you for a president and cabinet members who are courageous and willing to face the winds of controversy in order to provide a better future for those who come behind them. We’re thankful for the unity in Congress that’s presented the opportunity for our economy to expand so that we can fight he corrosive debt that’s been destroying our future. And we hope that that unity will spread beyond party lines so that people will realize that we have a nation that is worth saving, and recognize that nations divided against themselves will not stand. In this time of discord, distrust, and dishonesty, we ask that you will give us a spirit of gratitude, compassion, and common sense. Give us the wisdom to be able to guide this great nation and the future. We ask in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit,” Dr. Carson prayed.
You will be deeply encouraged as you see the full remarks from our nation’s President, the words of the prayer from Dr. Ben Carson, and so much more. Also shared in this segment: President Donald Trump, optimism, The Trump Administration, Secretary of State Rex Tillerson, Vice President Mike Pence, ISIS, Stock Exchange, Alaska, oil reserves, ANWR, Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, hope, and encouragement.

Young adults that are hungry for the things of God are gathering to learn how they can have a greater impact on the heart of God during their lives. It is called Urbana, and it is one of the largest student missions conferences in the world. As one man describes it, “They are looking at what that next step is, and it’s a really critical time to be trying to figure out what God’s will might be for your life. Whether that means you’re integrating missions into some other career, or you’re looking into a career in missions, period. God can use you either way and God will use you in a huge way.” Urbana isn’t about just simply listening to a few speakers and returning to a campus or a city. “It’s expanding our world views and just opening our eyes to what the Global Church is and how there is a need for us to be a part of that.”

When Jesus walked the Earth, He wasn’t caught up with the happenings in the world, or the agendas of politics that were taking place in other nations. People often tried to urge Jesus to stay. In Luke 4:43, Jesus said, “I must proclaim the good news of the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because that is why I was sent.” This is exactly what we, as the Church, are called to do. We are called to transform nations for the Glory of God. Bill Bright received a profound revelation from the Lord on how this is carried out. This is now known as the 7 Mountains of Culture; Family, Education, Government, Arts & Entertainment, Religion (The Church), Media, and Business. We must stand up for the Constitution, for what is right and what is true. Love must be our motive in all that we do. Today, we have the gift of those who walked this out in previous generations. One great example of this demonstration is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Continue Reading…

Amidst such calamity and negative words that the world is promulgating, we can be greatly encouraged by hearing what the Lord is saying in regards to the days that are upon us. When one man was given a dream, he was shown a red parachute that was flapping violently in the high winds. As his sight shifted from the parachute to the ground, he saw a man holding on with all his might to the straps of the parachute, bracing himself knowing that the parachute was about to catapult him from the safety of the ground to the limitless skies. Another man was seated on the floor of a plane only to propel himself out, skydiving and soaring like Superman through the sky. Suddenly, there were words that brought a new direction, “Everything has changed. This is a new horizon.” Continue Reading…
