LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss what’s really going on with the Affordable Health Care Act (AHC)? What they discuss may surprise you. They continue to shed some light as to what is truly happening with AHC as the President’s poll numbers are reportedly as worse as President Nixon. What we are seeing is classic Alinsky 101 which results in a mob mentality pushing for what they think they want. We saw this during the time Jesus walked the face of the earth. The mob was so stirred and organized that they formed a mob shouting for Barabbas to be set free instead of Jesus. They built a narrative around one goal, crucify him. They polarized Jesus. Who would thought that they would be chanting and insisting let his blood be on our heads. Those who voted for President Obama are now against him. They thought they were voting for AHC, Affordable HealthCare Act, but instead they really voted for OPM, Other People’s Money. That’s what it’s all about creating tension, struggle, depolarize, and then settle. It’s not about a website where we are going with this is a single payer plan as then Senator Barack Obama was advocating. They continue to discuss how organizing is not wrong it’s the motives behind the organizing is what matters. President Obama taught Saul Alinksy methods of organizing and even Hilary Clinton wrote a now sealed up paper on Saul Alinksy tactics. This ends up with a 100% tax and enslavement because the government will take care of your needs. What we are seeing is the humbling of a nation. Obama Care will suddenly switch. They continue to discuss the whiteboard presentation explaining how the affordable healthcare act or Obama Care will work and the benefits that will be provided.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss part 2 of the prediction made in 1992 by author Neil Postman that men would look to technology as God. They continue to discuss how technology has changed so much over time from the Gutenberg Press to the technology we have today. They continue to discuss how when people think about technology what often comes to mind is what they will get but what is often not thought about is what they will lose. Neil Postman, the author of Technopoly: The Surrender of Culture to Technology makes several observations as well as predictions. One such prediction is how people would turn to technology instead of turning to God. They continue to discuss that what God is in your life is not what you say God is but rather what you make as an idol in your heart. God will judge a nation for the idolatry in people’s hearts. Technological advances have made some things better and even efficient in our lives but one of the things it has taken away from us is our ability to have intimate connections with others. We can seemingly never get away from each other. They continue to discuss the impact the technology of the day, the Guttenberg Press, had at the time Martin Luther hand wrote his 95 theses not knowing the Guttenberg Press had the ability to make his theses go viral. They continue to discuss that with every new technological addition to society, society doesn’t just add technology to what it is it actually morphs into something completely new. However, they discuss that the church cannot morph into anything new it must always remain the church. They further discuss how the technology is neither good nor bad but what makes it good or bad is how the person behind the technology uses it. We are instructed in God’s word in Romans 12:1-2 not to conform to the patterns of this world. Not everyone can handle technology the right way and if that is you it’s always better to have God without technology than to have technology without God.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss how the one in authority doesn’t bear the sword for nothing and getting a biblical understanding of authority. They continue to discuss how Jesus said that the centurion had the greatest faith in all Israel. Romans 13:1-5 says “Let everyone be subject to the governing authorities, for there is no authority except that which God has established. The authorities that exist have been established by God. Consequently, whoever rebels against the authority is rebelling against what God has instituted, and those who do so will bring judgment on themselves. For rulers hold no terror for those who do right, but for those who do wrong. Do you want to be free from fear of the one in authority? Then do what is right and you will be commended. For the one in authority is God’s servant for your good. But if you do wrong, be afraid, for rulers do not bear the sword for no reason. They are God’s servants, agents of wrath to bring punishment on the wrongdoer. Therefore, it is necessary to submit to the authorities, not only because of possible punishment but also as a matter of conscience.” The one in authority does not bear the sword for nothing. Authority is given a power. The question some have is; will God establish an evil power? The answer is yes He will. Often times those who are in authority are a result of the people. If the people are good and right then their leadership will be good and right but if the people are not right and evil then then those in authority will reflect it. There are many theories today but God has a plan and order to what He does. If God establishes it and you fight against it then you are fighting against God. What we can do is do what we are told to do in the Bible in 1 Timothy 2:1-2 and that is to pray for those in authority. The leadership will turn when we turn our hearts back to God.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss what it was like when the redeemer of the world came to earth. They continue to discuss what was happening at the time when Jesus, our redeemer, was making his entrance to earth. Mary was riding a mule and Jesus was in Mary’s womb as they entered into town for a government census. Redemption for the world was in her womb while many people carried on unaware. God even used the government of the time in his plan. Don’t fret about small things especially those things related to government as God is in the one in complete control. Just like today people then were caught up in what was going on in their time that the Redeemer of the world made his entrance without many people even knowing the magnitude of what was happening. God has a plan to redeem mankind but if you are not paying attention you might think it’s about a “census” when it has nothing to do with that. People today are trying to steal the real meaning of Christmas from you look beyond that and don’t miss the Jesus in Christmas.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John and Pat discuss how Congresswoman Noem says her biggest job in Washington D.C. is ministering. According to CBN News “She’s making her mark not just within the Republican Party but in the kingdom of God, too. And she’s had to overcome many challenges along the way.” Congresswoman Noem is from South Dakota and is very passionate about her role both as a mother and congresswoman. “I am 100 percent convinced God created me to be a mom,” Noem told CBN News at her home in Castlewood, S.D. “Every other job that I have or duty that I have is just extra things that He’s put on my plate.” After trying to get several bills through unsuccessfully she has come to the conclusion that God has more for her to do. “You know He placed me there, yes, to work on policy, but maybe my biggest job was to minister to individuals,” she said. Noem said she spends her time not just trying to change minds on policy but trying to change hearts as an effective witness in a city with desperate needs.” They continue to discuss how congresswoman Noem is an answer to prayer. An elected official who loves God and country in that order and that she sees an opportunity to minister elected officials one heart at a time.

Greg, John, and Pat discuss how the national debt is $17 trillion dollars and rising and what exactly does that look like and more importantly what does it mean. Today the national debt is $17 trillion dollars which breaks down to $54,000 per citizen. In order to have a better perspective as to what $17 trillion is they make some comparisons to give us perspective. If the debt was compared to seconds on a clock we can begin to understand what $17 trillion looks like. For instance if one million dollars in seconds would take 12 days to pay the one billion would take 32 years and one trillion would take 32,000 years. At 17 trillion it would take 554,000 years to pay. We are in trouble. America has made money to buys its God. They continue to discuss a poem that was engraved in a church wall.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss the prediction made by author Neil Postman in 1992 when he said in the future that men would look to technology as God. They continue to discuss how technology has changed so much over time from the Gutenberg Press to the technology we have today. They continue to discuss how when people think about technology what often comes to mind is what they will get but what is often not thought about is what they will lose. Neil Postman, the author of Technopoly: The Surrender of Culture to Technology in the book he makes several observations as well as predictions. One such prediction is how people would turn to technology instead of turning to God. Neil said that America was turning to a new religion; technology. They continued to discuss the importance of not submitting to technology but having technology submit to God. They continue to discuss that with every new advancement in technology you just don’t have what you had plus the technology but instead what you had or were morphs into something new with the infusion of technology. They continue to ask the question whether you turn to God or to your technology when you wake up in the morning. They continue to ask if your hope is in God or technology. What was discovered is when people seek God maybe He answers maybe He doesn’t. However they found out that when you seek answers from technology, the internet, an immediate answer is provided. Searching the internet doesn’t make one smarter it just gives you access to what someone else knows. They challenge us to imagine if technology wasn’t around. Would we continue to worship God? Would we be able to seek God with a Bible, journal and pencil? Technology changes things and if you’re not careful you will begin to entertain yourself until you are in a deep sleep and even death. There are different uses for technology they encourage us to use it for God’s glory.
