LISTEN NOW! Greg and Pat share about bullying but it is not what you might think. They speak about bullying that takes place from Washington D.C.
When someone is bullying someone they are trying to provoke them to act out and take a swing. They do this so they can release all the pent up anger, rejection and twisted emotions in them, it has nothing to do with you. It was President Theodore Roosevelt who first coined the term bully pulpit when referring to the White House as a terrific platform from which to advocate an agenda.
In the image to the left is Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. being unjustly treated and arrested, yet he still loved, why? Because he knew, Love is the winning strategy. (See First Love to learn of Dr. King’s Strategy) Up to this point this famous Bully Pulpit had been used for new tax schemes for defending the nation, to expand national parks, to build monuments and to fight wars. BUT THERE’S A NEW ”BULLYING SPIRIT” IN WASHINGTON DC… who is using it to Bully American’s to GIVE UP THE CHRISTIAN GOD WE SERVE, and IT’S SUPREME LAW OF THE LAND the U. S. CONSTITUTION which the president, congress, and the supreme court swear to defend and acknowledge which is their only purpose of being there. Our leaders in Washington have poked American citizens and especially the Church, America’s founding fathers, and America’s Constitution in the chest so many times it can only be explained as President Theodore Roosevelt did…THEY ARE BULLYING THE AMERICAN PEOPLE, using Washington as a Bully Pulpit! Don’t fall prey to Washington DC’s Bully Pulpit and act out in rage. Jesus makes it clear what we as His followers are to do in Matthew 5:1-12. It’s time for the church to repent and instead of hitting the streets it’s time to hit ourknees. We are seeing our nation being turned over. We need to turn back to God and follow the ways of those who have gone before us like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. who stood up for what’s right in the right way before God and men. He was willing to lay down his life for the next generation. Then follow Jesus’ lead.
LISTEN NOW! Greg shares about the pioneering life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and the ten commandments/commitments that he lived by. What audacity of those who prostituted a man who stood for justice for all Americans, who, if he was here today according to his “Ten Commitments”, which were required of those who would walk with him to follow, wouldn’t even be allowed to enter the door. Dr. King stood for what was right and expected those who were going to walk with him to do the same. These commitments were so important to his pioneering work, a true Apostle, he had these commandments/commitments put on a card and everyone who would join him in this pioneering work would have to agree to live by them and sign the card showing they agreed with them.
The Commandments/Commitments were:
I hereby pledge myself—my person and body to the nonviolent movement. Therefore I will keep the following ten commandments:
1. Meditate daily on the teachings and life of Jesus.
2. Remember always that the nonviolent movement seeks justice and reconciliation — not victory.
4. Pray daily to be used by God in order that all men might be free.
5. Sacrifice personal wishes in order that all men might be free.
6. Observe with both friend and foe the ordinary rules of courtesy.
7. Seek to perform regular service for others and for the world.
8. Refrain from the violence of fist, tongue, or heart.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John and Pat discuss how much God loves everyone and how he encourages those who love Him and walk with Him to love others. They continue to share how God is trying to give you perspective of His love for you. Since the time of the Garden of Eden with Adam and Eve, God began by covering man’s sin so that man can have relationship with Him and settled it once and for all with Jesus’ sacrifice on the cross. God made a way for us to have a relationship with Him. Everything is coming against the love of God. There is good news, Jesus Christ died for you. He didn’t die for religion but for relationship. God’s word says blessed are those who take care of the weak. Blessed are those who have regard for the weak.

LISTEN NOW! John, Greg and Pat discuss whether Tim will play for a Russian football team. According to the Christian Post one Russian team has offered him $ 1 million to play in just two games. They continue to discuss how Russia is trying to influence everything. They encourage Tim not to sell out for money. They also encourage others not to sell out as many have and they have regretted it. Judas sold Jesus out for just 30 coins and was so distraught he hung himself. No matter the amount of money, don’t sell out the gifts God has given you. Use your gifts and talents for God.

LISTEN NOW! John, Greg, and Pat discuss how Israelis are loving on their enemies in particular Syrians. Syria has been involved in a 2 year civil war which has claimed the lives of over 100,000 people. They continue to share how some of those wounded are seeking medical attention at the Western Galilee Hospital in the northern Israeli town of Nahariya. Israeli soldiers have located Syrians who have been injured and they bring them to the hospital where they receive treatment many who would have died if they were not treated. According to CBN Dr. Massad Barhoum director general of Western Galilee Hospital is quoted as saying “Love your enemies.” When the wounded Syrians come in they are afraid especially the children and they hear words from the medical staff like “Be calm. I love you.” They continue to share how many people today are deceived and don’t know that God loves them. We must speak past their captivity to communicate how much God loves them. 1 John 4:20 says “If anyone says, I love God,” yet hates his brother he is a liar.” Jesus loves you and died on the cross and rose three days later for your sins. He took back the keys of death, hell and the grave so that you can receive him and spend eternity with him.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat share an update regarding the Navy Yard Massacre as new details of the shooter, Aaron Alexis, emerge. The “Telegraph” reports that the shooter was obsessed with violent video games. CBN also reports that he had a history of disturbing behavior. They continue to share how we are made in the image of God with the ability to create in our imagination. You can’t feed yourself violent video games involving the splattering of blood, murders and rapes and think these images playing out in your mind will have no effect on you. Jesus said that if you have done it in your mind you have already done it. We have lied to ourselves when we have said we have done it only in our heart or head so that means we haven’t done it. The word of God tells us how we are to respond to things that enter our mind that is not of God in 2 Corinthians 10:4 “The weapons we fight with are not the weapons of the world. On the contrary, they have divine power to demolish strongholds. We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ.” The word of God demolishes strongholds. It’s time to get the junk out of your mind and out of your life. If we don’t we are going to continue to have “Navy Yard” massacres all across America.

LISTEN NOW! Greg, John, and Pat discuss the recent statement made by the Southern Baptist Convention President Rev. Russell Moore, reported by CBN, when he said the Bible belt is collapsing. “We are not Americans first. We belong to another kingdom, and we will stand and speak for that kingdom,” he said in a recent report in the Wall Street Journal. They continue to discuss it, God and country in that order. It’s one nation under God. They continued to share the importance of the Kingdom of God. We don’t worship the Bible but the God of the Bible. It’s time to remember those who have gone before us and who have been sold out to God and have given themselves completely like General Booth founder of the Salvation Army. This was a man who wore two suits one to wear in parades while people would throw garbage and food at and another for him to preach in. If we humble ourselves there is hope for a Third Great Awakening to sweep the land.
learned some wisdom on how to scare a bear away if this were to happen again. Greg also shares a camping experience he had with is son Gered. They brought everything with them for camping even a TV. He continues to share how they watched Ben Hur so loud that their nearby neighbor yelled to turn it down as they quickly learned they were not alone in the woods. They thought the food was secure since they locked their food in a rubber maid container only to find out that the food was attacked by mean squirrels. One of the squirrels took a bite out of the Rubbermaid container. They try to scare off the squirrels but the squirrels bowed up claiming the food.
