Many times in life we face storms and trials, and even Jesus said, “I have told you these things, so that in me you may have peace. In this world you will have trouble. But take heart! I have overcome the world.” You may be surprised when you face troubles as a believer and as Jesus said we would have troubles. Even the Apostle Paul shares with us, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” We don’t have to waste our time worrying or stressing about something we can’t change. Instead, we can spend the time praying and giving it all to God and in turn, receive His peace. God is the One Who can turn our troubles around for good and during this trouble we can be at complete peace, resting in God, knowing that He is in control.
