LISTEN NOW! In 1975, Bill Bright had an encounter with the Lord that gives us the wisdom of how we can impact cultures, entire nations, for the Glory of God. Every culture is made up of 7 different areas, Education, Religion, Government, Arts & Entertainment, Family, Media, and Business. What was revealed to Bright is now otherwise known as the 7 Mountains of Culture. With this wisdom we can bring the light of Jesus Christ into all aspects of any one nation. In Matthew 28:19, Jesus said, “Therefore go and make disciples of all nations”. What does it mean to disciple a nation? What does it look like to impact a nation? This is how.

When looking specifically at the mountain of Government, what does it look like to have a positive impact on the elected leaders of a nation? How can we affect them for the advancement of the Kingdom. In today’s society, there are many people who are voicing what is wrong with politics and what is taking place within the government of today. Instead of voicing criticism, how are standing alongside them to support them in the burdens of leadership. We get an accurate example of how we can intercede and stand for God’s truth in government by looking at the life of Dr. Myles Munroe. When newly elected leaders were voted into office, when some would wait to see what was done wrong and bring a critical viewpoint, Munroe brought the newly elected leaders of his nation’s parliament to speak to them, to admonish them, and to encourage them.

America is a land of laws and we elect leaders who will decide what laws will be passed and the rights that these laws effect. The words of Dr. Munroe give us a profound understanding of what we must be mindful of anytime laws and rights are being considered. “Not all rights are right. Because someone demands a right doesn’t mean the right they demand is right. Make sure the right is lined up with the righteousness of God’s word before you agree with that right. …..Because you want a right as a citizen doesn’t mean it’s right for all that God wants.”Dr. Munroe the empathy he has for the leadership of the nation and the burdens that come with these roles as he encouraged them in prayer. Hear more of the profound words that Dr. Myles Munroe expressed to the leadership of his time as well how each of us can impact the leaders in our lives, and so much more.
